She just wanted to see if you were cool with it, and if you would be discreet enough to engage in some side-action. A shit-test, pretty much.

One thing that may help guys who are afraid of other men is to take up a martial art (bjj, muay Thai, boxing) in which you get to be in physical confrontations on the regular. This not only will give you confidence with other men (I've sparred guys his size before), but it will instill a sense of humility in you. In my head, it goes a bit like this: (upon seeing a bigger man) I've rolled with guys his size before. I could probably get a single-leg on him. But he's big...I'll probably have to pul…

I didn't. The preface to the paragraph started with "for those of you." When you use a statement like that, you are precisely being unassuming. It also makes skimming through a comment section more efficient, since, upon reading the preamble and finding it non-applicable to your situation, you can quickly move on to the next comment. Below I have an example that I assume will not apply to most people's reality on this forum at the moment. Example: "For those of you nearing retirement..." If you …

For those of you from 3rd world countries: When you go back to visit family, take the clothes you want tailored with you and do it there. It will more than likely be cheaper than the us, and your family over there probably already knows a good one.

Ephesians 4:29 ESV "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." I use this to my advantage in the following way: the things you say always end up in the ear of those you talk about; let them hear good things. The same applies to the person you are saying it to; they will only hear you state positive things about people, so they will know that you will talk good about them at a later tim…

It's almost as if their lives are so good that they have to bring up struggle from a century ago. You'll never see north korean defectors complaining about their 'rights.'

I think you've given up on life, man. You have a polarity of mind on this topic that just isn't accurate. Not identifying as submissive does not necessarily mean being domineering. There are parts of your life that I feel you are making excuses for. If you take anything from my post, try to see any anger/self-hatred you have in your heart, and hear advice from people you trust on how to deal with it. We all have traits in us that try hold us back from what we could be.

I'm thinking, the faster you procreate and get out of there, the more energy you can focus on acquiring resources/inseminating other females.

I think you have a problem with setting boundaries in general. There is no control, so to speak, any more than you would have in a male-male friendship. There are things you won't do, and there are things he won't do; The more dominant guy leads. If a friend of yours were ask you to pay for his meals/drinks each and every time you went out, how would you react the first time? How about the twelfth? Compare and contrast with how you would act when we substitute your friend with a woman.

I think you are still living your life by other people's will. If you wanted to have sex with other girls and still be with this woman, you should have done it. You can still do it. You followed blindly what you thought someone wanted you to do, and now you're asking daddy if what you did was OK. Man up. Take responsibility. Stop looking for someone to tell you how to live your life.

I'll be the first to admit it: I wear fedoras almost every day. (It makes me look classy) I'm 20 kilos overweight. I'm a kissless virgin, who is actively considering joining a furry club. I only go on TRP to bash on women and pretend I'm cool on the internet. I suspect my BFF Jenny is dating one of these "RedPill" guys, and he is a total douche. I showed her TRP to warn her and she was totally appalled. She told me to disregard the misogynist advice given here and that essentially, all you need …

I think he (and TheMGhandi) mean to use a public image to circumvent any negative attention. Ex. "Stonemason's Society --> Freemasons" The Society of the Free and Easy seems to me as a good example to base this on.

If a steady life is what you're after, then medicine is a good choice. It is like the experiment in which they ask children if they wanted a cookie now, or ten cookies in half an hour. Medicine is a decade of studying for a lifetime of increased social status and cash.

I think the reason people are easy to forfeit their goals may be attributed in part to the feminization of society (inb4 "world is a nail"). Bear with me: Have you ever had the opportunity to share an activity with other men? Visualize this activity as an outsider. Whatever the endeavor is, when men get together to share their reality, a natural competitive atmosphere develops. Exs: Football players trying to be the fastest; bodybuilders trying to lift the most weight; gamers trying to be the be…

Can attest to this. Even within the medical community there is hypergamy. A female pediatrician is usually married to a male surgeon, but a female surgeon would never look twice at an emergentologist. Once you enter the surgical specialties it gets hilarious. The female general surgeon wants to get with the orthopods, but the orthopods usually get hitched to a nurse, etc..

That is assuming the person is ventilating correctly...while you are compressing their thoracic cage at 120bpm.

"Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife." From what I understand about psychiatry, all bipolar diagnoses center around the relationship and intensity of depressive and manic episodes. Being a psychiatric patient yourself, you understand that her behavior has nothing to do with her diagnosis. On another note, remember to get treated for your bipolar. It is not such an "easily-thrown" diagnosis as you might think. The reason it may seem so is that any patient with a ma…

I'm glad to hear that you are on your way. Standard advice from me: lift (Unis usually have a gym), read the sidebar, etc... I wish you strength for this pivotal moment in your life, and I'm looking forward to reading a progress report from you down the line. Remember: "Duty is heavier than a mountain; death is lighter than a feather."

Sounds like you are finding excuses to stay with her. I feel that if you were complete within yourself, the circumstances would null. What's the real reason you don't want to break up with her? You are not responsible for her well-being; don't let your fathering instincts rule your life. Life is cold-blooded.

I think you're missing the point. When the monkey comes out and the situation calls for it, the bigger guy has an advantage. Lawsuits can ruin a life, but muscles can ruin a nose.

For me it looks like this: Goljan while I lift. Down time to study. Free time for hobbies, women included. In a way, it is as if I don't “turn off.” Classmates watching netflix with dinner? Pathoma after the gym for me. Classmates wake up at 7 for hospitals? Alarm rings at 5am; Uworld for me. Break between classes? Time for a self quiz/review with a buddy. The weekends can be used for whatever, but only after I get my block of studying done. Usually coincides with the late night.

Dentistry may make money, but it does so without the prestige of an M.D.. Dentistry students around these parts get respected as any general person would, but there is always an unspoken vibe whenever the distinction between our majors comes up. I'm not in a position to speak about D.O. programs.

Halfway through third year here. MDs have a stable upper-middle class lifestyle in most places around the world. Once you're on the other side of residency you have options to tailor your practice as you see fit, depending on your monetary ambitions. I personally plan on doing locum tenens and seeing the world for a bit. We will have to see how Obamacare plays out.

Update: Went in for the breakup; she broke in tears. Said she'd do anything, etc. Long story short, she has agreed to meekness. I'm thinking that for however long it lasts, I will stay with it. No more bothering about marriage/kids, etc. My vasectomy is already planned, etc... If all goes well, she can help me pay for the loans before her clock ticks so loud that I have to let her go.
