if you're homeless, contemplating suicide, and can't provide for your family because you were banned from a subreddit, you have bigger problems than women.

This is a spot for like-minded Women to objectively and realistically discuss sexual strategy from an anti-feminist, non-feminist, traditionalist and/or evolutionary psychology perspective. Go bitch somewhere else.

Thank you! This is actually an older study (2013), but Christina Sommers' tweet brought it to my attention as well :) Love her.

you've gone day after day submitting application after application and you're not getting any results. the best job-seekers don't find their jobs through sites like monster.com or online career portals. they find them through their networks. when i say networks, i'm not talking about those stupid "networking events" filled with 10 desperate job seekers just like you for every 1 person who could actually help you land the job you want. i'm talking about building GENUINE relationships with people …

getting into a "relationship" with no commitment as a stipulation is counter productive yes, you're right. being in an exclusive relationship and not having commitment are incompatible ideas. so are you saying that "casually dating" and being in an exclusive relationship are the same thing to you? should a woman exclusively see just one man even if he has not formally committed to her?
/r/RedPillWomen31/01/15 09:00 AM
2

No commitment" is a HUGE red flag for me. That screams CC. "Casually dating" for RPW is not a fun hobby or pastime. Her ultimate goal IS commitment from the right man. Gaining the commitment of a truly high-value man is incredibly difficult and can take more than just 1 or 2 dates. If a RPW meets a man once for coffee and enjoys herself, should she immediately stop seeing all other men who might be interested in her?

I agree that it shouldn't take 10+ dates to gauge compatibility. I'm curious - could you tell me more abut your attitude toward money/paying for dates?

wow, 3 years? i can't imagine having a divide like that. are you close with your parents? do you think things will eventually get better or is this looking to be a permanent thing?

it is hurtful. it's not a matter of being blunt or direct vs being nice and agreeable. she personally attacked me by questioning my integrity and then didn't offer any sort of constructive comment or advice to actually contribute to the conversation.

your comment is kinda hurtful to be honest cuz i usually agree with most everything you say and respect your opinion. i'm not BSing, though. I made a post 7 months ago when my bf and i first started dating about how my parents, after meeting my bf once or twice, contacted his boss at work and asked him to "keep an eye on him," which is crazy behavior imo. he's the 2nd guy i've ever introduced to my parents so it's not like i have a history of dating shady guys that would make them automatically …

No one is pouting or whining. I expressed my desire to respect my parents, but also maintain a relationship with my boyfriend and asked for an objective appraisal of the situation. /u/scallopkid's comment was not an "asinine suggestion shot from the hip." He literally equated being a housewife to "a life of mediocrity." Want to condemn me for choosing not to finish school? Go somewhere else. This subreddit is for discussion of sexual strategy, not career advice.

Your parents aren’t wrong just because you happen to disagree with their opinion and they also aren't right just because they are my parents. let's think critically. Here's what's important to me in a man: someone who's kind, loyal, and responsible. Someone with self-discipline and the courage to lead me and our family. Someone who's trustworthy and honorable. Someone who excites me sexually. Someone who will encourage me to be my best. Someone who will stand by my side and be my captain through…

Hi!! I HIGHLY recommend The Surrendered Single. The author, Laura Doyle, is hugely popular in this sub. She gives incredibly insightful and actionable advice for single, RP ladies. This book changed my life and I can't recommend it enough to single RPWs looking for their captains.

OP specifically said that "no sex" is involved. it's only natural for a high-value women to have multiple men courting her. casually dating multiple men to gauge compatibility and worthiness sign ≠ "maintaining a harem of orbiters and fwbs"
/r/RedPillWomen03/12/14 11:48 PM

huh? what's wrong with casually dating? how is she supposed to find a boyfriend if she isn't dating and meeting men? it's not like she's sleeping with any of them.

Why don't you take a look at the rest of this thread? It just so happens to be a discussion of traits that make a man high vs low value. Convenient, huh?
/r/RedPillWomen10/10/14 09:33 PM

The type of man who is attracted to those types of hobbies is usually low value to begin with. Correlation, not causation.

I disagree about offering to pay. If the guy doesn't offer, it's appropriate for the girl to pay for her share, but otherwise, she should not offer to pay first. Most men enjoy providing for women, even in small ways, like paying for coffee. Offering to pay outright is emasculating. She is a RPW, not a masculine provider figure.
/r/RedPillWomen03/10/14 05:23 PM
17

be lighthearted and fun! a first date is not the time for super serious conversation if he offers to pay, graciously accept. just smile and say thank you. if you reject his offer to provide for you, you're rejecting him as a man be present. enjoy the moment. dating is supposed to be fun! don't stress out about what the future holds. if you're having a good time, tell him. stay calm. it's easy to get nervous and chatter incessantly. try to relax and let him do the talking. don't let your anxiety …

focus on your hobbies and your relationship (or dating if you are single). are your friends also all the same race/religion/political affiliation? differences of opinion are inevitable. don't get bogged down by other people's views. there's also a niche community of anti-feminist bloggers. if this is something that really interests you, maybe you could start a blog and start connecting with like-minded people in that community

it's good that you recognize that agreeing to stay over with him was your first mistake. as I'm sure you figured out, it can be extremely difficult to resist temptation once you are alone with a man. in the future, avoid putting yourself in this sort of situation in the 1st place. don't hang out with a guy at his home alone, ESPECIALLY in the evening. when you're getting to know a potential boyfriend, make sure you are spending time in public areas(restaurants, parks, cafés). if he is actually i…

Right, I agree with all your points. i do want to clarify that I never slept with him. we had been spending time together consistently for 4 months but he had started to push for more so that is partially what inspired me to have the DTR talk with him in the first place. I'm sure it would've been 10x harder to get over him if we had been sexually intimate.

Looking back, I'm sooo glad he insisted on no contact. It hurt to have him suddenly disappear, but it allowed me to move on more quickly than if he had just lingered on in my life. I'm wondering what I should have said/done in the moment after he said all those things to me. Obviously crying and begging was not the right choice. I really wish I could have ended things on a more pleasant note...

no, of course it isn't! it's not a committed until you've explicitly agreed to an exclusive relationship. blindly assuming a relationship is committed without ever having talked about it is how girls become plates

well, I was relying on him as the guy to escalate things sexually, which he was doing...slowly. this is not a case of him making overt sexual advances and me rejecting him over and over again. anyway, I'm not gonna get sexually intimate with a guy unless we're in a committed relationship. pretty sure this is the typical RPW stance. so disregarding sex, what exactly should I be contributing at this point?

One thing I'm wondering about in particular- I am used to dating younger men in their early 20s - making them generally more inexperienced than older men. I would imagine that older guys have a lot more confidence and don't give off the same 'slightly desperate' vibe that a lot of younger guys tend to give off. I guess I'm worried that they might have higher standards than I'm used to, and for once, I'm doubting my ability to meet those standards? Idk...BLAHHH I'm also scared that since he is pr…

I'm confused about what you're asking? so you're postulating what would happen if men kept their instincts, but women abandoned theirs? last semester I took a class on human sexuality, and we frequently studied the behavior of gay men and like you said, they are less prone to engage in "dumb chit chat" and just get down to business whenever and with whomever they want. the reason they do this is mostly biological and has very little to do with societal expectations. men, because they are biologi…

I don't have any experience with online dating, but my fear would be that if I explicitly said I'm looking for a "confident" or "masculine" or whatever man, the guy in question might try to fake the presence of those traits when we go out on a date. Like, you know how people are usually on their best behavior during the first few months of dating, trying really hard to minimize any imperfections they have? I just imagine some guy pretending to appear more confident, masculine, etc than he really…

Whines about not having intelligence, looks, wealth, whatever instead of seeking to improve himself. similarly, men that blame everything on their environment/external factors instead of taking control and accepting responsibility for their life circumstances. basically, guys who are passengers instead of drivers.

Did you read anything I said in my original post or in my responses? EVERYTHING in this entire thread is based on personal experience/opinion and generalizations. obviously, generalizations will not apply to every member of a group. of course there are exceptions. not all girls with tattoos and multiple piercings are sluts and not every democrat is a pathetic beta male. you're literally arguing against something I never said. go be offended somewhere else

but it's ok to make sweeping generalizations about sluts? it's ok to make sweeping generalizations about feminists? it's ok to make generalizations about fat people? we do ALL of that here. just because you're personally insulted by my views doesn't mean that they don't belong here.

to me, that attitude is pretty much the exact opposite of what RP espouses. RP = accepting that not everyone is equal. It's accepting that a sloppy hambeast post-wall woman is worth significantly less than a hot, fit 20 year old girl or that a buff, successful guy is worth more than a shy, skinny dude who sits in his mom's basement playing xbox all day. according to you, it's only "fair" if all those people get the exact same outcome even though they have wildly different values in the market. t…

um, ok. you can cherry-pick as many examples as you want to prove your point, but it doesn't really mean anything. democrats advocate for social liberalism which is in direct contrast to most of the more conservative views espoused in the RP subs. they are also more likely to identify as feminists than other mainstream parties in the US. obviously not every single male democrat is "beta". I'm just speaking from broad observation and my personal experience.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/14 09:10 AM
7

I agree that some beta traits are good for a man to have in a relationship. Being a beta is good for women. Many RPW in this sub talk openly with disgust about past ex's they deemed as beta losers. RP women(and most women in general) are happier with more alpha, dominant men that take the lead and challenge us. A guy who is more beta will let a woman walk all over him and let her control the relationship. Disaster. Leads to boredom, cheating, unhappiness http://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comm…

again, of course there are exceptions. not all girls with tattoos and multiple piercings are sluts and not every democrat is a pathetic beta male. feel free to disagree with me. I suspect my list would be wildly different in another culture

I do understand. RP women are looking for men that are generally alpha, but have a few beta traits, not men that are generally beta that might have an alpha moment every once in a while. So yes, I agree with you that all guys have a degree of beta/alphaness. This is a list to weed out guys that are more 'beta' than 'alpha'.

do you think there is any way to fix things? maybe if she sticks around he will "grow up" and change? yeah, good point about the feeling like a failure thing. agree that it is nearly impossible to know the full story. from what she told me, it seems like he presented himself as very motivated and ambitious at the start of their relationship, but might have been less than honest. even when they first started dating, he would miss classes or show up late to exams and she just assumed it was a "phase" and not his normal behavior. now she's realizing that the irresponsibility does seem to be the norm from him. pretty much everyone in our circle of friends…

My current favs: Serious Eats Recipes - lots of creative recipes, many are more 'trendy' or ethnic than ones you would find on a site like allrecipes. Really encourages me to be creative in the kitchen, also lots of 'hacks' to make speed things up or make things easier during the cooking process Maskcara - AMAZING makeup tutorials. One of my favorites is this tutorial showing how to make your eyes look bigger and brighter. The difference is just incredible. She shows lots of pretty and practical…

Most of these are things I'd rather be doing FOR my boyfriend. Has society got it backwards or what?
