Just be honest and tell her. Tell her you don't want sympathy and just have fun. Also all the best with recovery. You got this :)

You're coming from a frame of mind that is seeking their permission to approach. Instantly you're letting their beliefs and 'reality' be stronger than yours; and why? simply because they're attractive and preoccupied with the same tasks you do.

Just a little note: don't think of high school as a shitty part of life. Sure it may have been really hard, but you grew more equipped to deal with the rest of your life from it, even the worst experiences.

Thats great, go meet more girls and get out of this funk that you're in. Also read 'The Man Who Would Not Be Defeated'. It's an amazing book about turning your life into something great even if you have to endure huge handicaps. Message me if you ever want to talk or anything.

This is your one shot at life, Once in oblivion. I get it, it's hell, it;s frustrating, it's demeaning, it's disorientating, it destroys your self concious. I get it. My ears ring constantly with tensist. If you give up, it's a big 'fuck you', to all the suffering endured by the human race so that you could have a chance at life, a safe, happy life.

"How many experiments are currently running in your life? You need one each for health, wealth, love, and happiness. Be sure to not run them for too long. By testing things quickly you won't have as much pain. So try eating Vegan or Paleo, try fasting, invest in a new stock, start a new business, do 1000 push-ups, go to the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting, go visit an old folks home and cheer someone up, read a textbook, go travel but take a train instead of a plane, hang out with someone…

You're not being rude, don't worry. hmm, you have a large enough sample. It's hard to say without seeing a few approaches and I'm not expert. I'm still working to get over it, I come on too softly I think so my 'hit rate' is quite low. I have been a bit slack in the last few months with approaching so there is that too.

Sounds like you need to make them more emotionally stimulated during the interaction. Kino and Escalate. If you're just going up, talking, and not escalating enough to strike a strong emotional and sexual response she probably will give you her number out of politeness. Also 3 is such a small sample. Go get 20/30 numbers and see if it's still like that.

Met a girl on a youth leadership 10 day sailing program. Met a girl I stupidly fell for. I was still quite beta and unconfident at the time. Later on the guys asked me why I kept following her around. I cringe a bit looking back.

Couldn't agree more. People need to find the love of learning about interactions. Sure get pointers from others but don't fall back every time you're not sure what to do, on the community. People need to look at the bigger picture and not just one specific girl. Approach more, approach more, reflect, improve and enjoy life.

I made the mistake by saying 'let's do a date' to girls. It was strange, I'd meet up with girls, we 'd have a great time, hook up and then some of them wouldn't txt me afterwards. It concluded that it was because they though I wanted something more than a hook up (which I didn't) by framing it as a date through txt rather than a 'meet up for drinks'.
/r/seduction05/08/14 10:08 PM

I got rejected by two girls recently that I'd built up a bit of rapport with. The idea of rejection was so much worse than the actual rejection. In fact, I felt awesome afterwards for approaching.

I was going to make this post short, but eh I wish someone had told me this when I was 17. I cringe at the awkward half-dates and timidness that I use to do. My go to thing to say when asking a girl out is just. "Hey I think you're cute, lets grab a drink together on (specific time). Do it in person if you can. Say it slowly and confidently while not breaking eye contact. It shows massive amounts of confidence to do this in person. If she's unsure about it - "Relax, it will be fun". or "I'll tak…

Anything. Just go talk to people. It's easier if the bar is more full. Ever been in that hyper sociable mood while drinking where you seem to just have conversations starting everything? Replicate it, but to push yourself more, replicate it sober.

I don't want to sound desperate, but some advice from you would be great. The Book of Pook might help you with this. Also 'Models', 'The Alchemist', 'Think and Grow Rich', were all helpful to me. Hot girls are also people that have problems, but I still go a little crazy mentally when I see them. Yea, it comes from thinking you are not worthy of them. But that mere thought effects your body language, vocal tone, and how you express yourself, to such a degree that she will pick up on it and so wi…

Yea for sure, I may have come across a bit blunt but this is coming from a guy who has been in the same situation too many times. Also you don't need to frame it as a date but do make your intensions clear. Goodluck

Stop projecting your ideals onto her. You don't know her. You met her once and talked a few times after that (I assume on facebook). I'm not cutting you don't, thats great you guys are meeting up again. But my advice would be to improve your confidence and stop falling for girls before you know them really well. Hang around more hot chicks to desensitize yourself to them. They poop, they get self conscious, they have fears and insecurities, most don't know what they want to do with their lives, they fear death, they have bad days at work, and some days feel unattractive, just like any human being. When you see a girl at a club or bar, she is probably being the best version of herself. She turned up to her friends house in sweat-pants and a tee-shirt without make up on. She probably complained a bit abou…

500 approaches? Thats a great achievement. I think you're focusing too much on girls in your life. You should be happy you've approached that many and made so much progress. It's not about the numbers. It's about making yourself happy.

I agree with what you said but if you have a six sided die then you have a 1/6 chance of rolling the number you want each time you roll it. Say we want to get a '6' and if we roll it once we only have a 1/6 chance of getting it right. But if we roll it 60 times then we have a great chance of getting a '6' at least once. The only different is that we will not know our exact chance of building attraction with people has human emotional state is far too complex to calculate. Say someone went to the…

This is what I've learn from doing sales. The other person is stimulated when they are talking and given time to respond to what you say. It doesn't matter if we have the most interesting thing to say, if she (or any person for that matter) doesn't have a change to have her input then she'll loose interest in the interaction very fast. I know there is a million 'lists' out there but again I'll give you what we were taught in sales which has such a strong parallel to game/pick-up/people skills. W…

If you're struggling with AA, set yourself a goal like talk to 3 girls you don't know a day. It helps to build social momentum and gives you a goal to work towards. Stop worrying too much about theory, yes it's all great stuff, but whats the point in it if you're not approaching and enjoying life?
/r/seduction26/05/14 11:13 PM

In sales we would emphasis the '3 steps' which were: S - Smile E - Eye Contact E - Enthusiasm Just another group of things to remember when interacting with people. Same stuff pretty much but good write up :)

I feel this and u/skinnyfatt1987 is really the best answer to most questions on here. One important thing to remember is the girl will likely have her guard up as most people do when a stranger approaches them. Get her to relax and laugh then she'll be a lot more open to whatever you say to her.
/r/seduction21/05/14 07:07 AM
1

Yea I understand, I am trying to kick that habit and just act quickly before I try and rationalise the situation and therefore don't approach. It also helps in you've built up some social momentum. I work in sales so I'm constantly talking with people all day. I find that it's so easy to talk to people once I've built up this social momentum. On the other hand for the first hour or two of work it's not as easy to approach and talk with strangers because I haven't built up that momentum yet. Yea …

Yea, just letting go and being present in the moment helps. Don't over analyse situations, just let them happen. Yea self-improvement should be challenging but it should also be rewarding at the same time. The joy is in the action and fulfillment on reaching goals and not in the attractiveness or coolness of the chick you get with.

You need to relax. I'm not sure what your mindset is but it seems like you need to enjoy the process more (I'm sure you've heard Tyler say this a million times). Enjoy meeting new girls, they're not scary, and if you don't care as much about the outcome of the interaction, you'll be more free to express yourself. For me I just like to joke around a lot. I don't really care for too much small talk. Have fun, enjoy it, and don't worry too much about making progress. You goal should be to find enjo…

Thats great, it annoys me that people come here asking how to get with one girl or little tips on how to do things. It's not focusing on the bigger picture at all which is what you have outlined in this post.
/r/seduction16/05/14 09:28 PM

/r/seduction14/05/14 05:37 PM

Ask her on a date asap and just let the conversation flow. It's too hard to build attraction through text and comes off as unconfident and needy because you're keeping the relationship limited.

Realise their rejection isn't always in your control. You may have: caught them at the wrong time they may be seeing someone They may be working through some issues Theres any number of reasons that are out of your control. The ones that are out of your control should have no reflection on your self worth. But you have control over the way you express and hold yourself. You'll meet girls that are into you and some that aren't, and never will be, just simply because you're not what they like. How…

Tinder can be fun but don't take it too seriously. There is minimal investment on both parties usually which leads to a lot of dead-ends and flakes. But it was good to gain confidence escalating with girls. You'll be better off approaching for your own personal growth but do it if you want.

Here is my take on it. I don't want to spend too much money on a girl that isn't overly invested in me. I've been on a number of dates where the girls have hardly said anything to me after and cut contact; no big deal, but I don't wanna spend $50+ on a couple of hours with a girl and kiss her a few times then never see her again. I just take them to a local cafe usually. It comes to $10-$15 most of the time which I'm happy to pay for cause its not that much when you're working full time. Plus ca…

"Because you keep txting back lol". If you wanted to push it and show even more venerability you could dare who to not txt u back. And wait for her to finally crack but of course you have to build a decent amount of attraction before hand.

To me, virginity is what you make of it. When I was turd in high school I wanted to save it for someone amazing and special and was shocked when a friend lost it to his short term girl friend and didn't make a big deal about it as I had. I got really drunk a few months later and lost it to a girl I hardly knew. I didn't regret it and I realised after it's only what you make of it. If you haven't had sex before it's no big deal at all, don't let the thought of it hold you back. Amongst other thin…

Work on getting over the self consciousness about the situation. Mark Manson also said you should try and polarize people quickly through showing >"vulnerability, confidence, non-neediness and ultimately high value". Girls will either be Cold and not attracted to you On the fence about her attraction to you and therefore not overly. or 3. Be attracted to you. Of course you want to get them into #3 but they can only get there if you show those strong personality traits. Paradoxically, showing you…

Mark Manson said the best way to avoid interview-like situation was to make statements and cold readings. Just start talking and making open ended (truthful, always show yourself honestly, it shows vulnerability, confidence, non-neediness and ultimately high value) statements e.g "I was here last week and saw a guy run out of the store with a handful of clothes and the security was trying to chase him down", are great because they give her a chance to ask the questions. "Then what happened?", "W…

I think this is one of the most insightful posts I've ever read on seddit in regards to myself and I think you could be right on it. I think as much as I don't want to admit it, I've often thought of myself as slightly less than others though in recent years my self esteem has gone up a lot but still have a way to go with inner game. Thanks a lot.

Semitones are the distance between the 12 notes of music. Thanks I think I'm the same sometimes especially when in bars, hence why I sometimes think meeting girls in clubs is a weird thing to do as the music is so loud neither of you can really hear each other.

Thanks that comment and the one earlier have been a big help. I think sometimes I mumble and only say half a word and don't force on the other half of the sounds. I went out tonight and often had to repeat myself due to not enough clear volume against the bar music. I think i noticed it more tonight after posting this and hearing what everyone had to say. Thanks again

Yes, do it, perhaps be casual at first to meet up because you had a friend/semi professional relationship before. Just say you wanna catch up and do something fun then flirt and look for IOI when you are together. If she's not keen, who cares?

/r/seduction22/01/13 06:18 PM

set up a date > create a fun, relaxed and flirty atmosphere with personal jokes, funny stories >kino > then if she gives you enough IOI's, escalate. Have a place planned to take her back to if you can.

Could always move? Start up fresh in a new city fully of young people. Or alternatively just the usual: go out, join clubs, talk to everyone, be the person that everyone wants to know and hang around.

Positive attitude, the most popular guy in my highschool class looked a bit like Jim Carey, had a huge scare across his cheek and had a plate in his mouth cause he had a fake tooth from when he was hit by a car. He also was pale, his hair grew into a weird shape, and he was skinny. But in 2 years from starting at our high school, he'd become the most popular guy. He was always smiling, saying high to people, joking around, was out at parties every weekend and just didn't really care what others …

Dated ex for bout two years but she lost interest twice and broke it off. I have no intent on trying to be more than the brief txts but I'm not sure. I haven't had a girlfriend in almost a year, not that long I know, but I joke about it all the time and we all laugh and I joke about being lonely, 'I remember beinging in-love' kind of thing. I'm actually really enjoying not having a gf and just being myself. It's all about how you look at it. As other posts have said. Start off with small self improvements. I got dumped in Jan this year and it was heartbreaking at the time but I knew I could get through it. I saw it as a cross road where I cou…

Dude, think nothing of it. It's a cool story and I expected to open this thread thinking you were crippled. If you can walk fine and it's only scares you have to worry about them don't worry. I have a sort of physical imperfection thats more noticable than that and have not, in recent years, had any problems getting girls. Confidence.
