What is the best basic guidelines in your opinion or that helped you? I have asked my dad for advice, but it is generalized information like "don't give up and keep trying" but that reinforces in my mind to keep doing what I'm doing, which is clearly not the way to go about attracting women (or my case attempting).

I believe it's because since I have no prior experience of being successful with women/getting girls to meet me or hangout, that I mentally panic and don't know what to do. I thought alcohol helps, but I've come to the realization that it makes it worse compared to when I'm sober.

Considering I went 20 years without being intimate with a woman then yes

I would like to think that I am, at least in my mind it seems like that in my mind. I haven't really had many positive results (the words drrryyy spell and sexually frustrated come to mind) in general. I just don't know what to do to change it and that is honestly the worst feeling about it.

I have tried the creative approach, but when I try to make plans it falters. That has been a major sticking point for years.

I've been there multiple times and it's frustrating but I tell myself it will get better.

I don't really follow what you mean by I got her to come back with a gift.

Understandable, it's the underlying factor in this part of the process.

Trust me im not beating myself up over the girl. I'm mostly wanting to know how to handle similar situations and the sticking point about making a move.

I understand what you mean, but I guess I should've said that I have trouble just socializing with female coworkers in general. I feel like there are more boundaries in a sense than there really are.

Attraction triggers at work? Can I get an example.

So approach asking her out it like any other situation, or more inconspicuous?

It's at a restaurant so it doesn't seem like a bad idea in my mind.

I'm not sure how to go about that considering I workout everyday and generally found a hobby. The fact that Ive had a dry spell for several months creeps into the back of my head like a nagging reminder. Thats part of the problem.

Its a town that's mostly elderly and more of a family town. I'm not 21, so there's not much else going on here.

I have a similar situation, but what if I am in a town with my parents, that limits the possibilities of meeting new women?

So you show disinterest by not texting back when you can tell the convo is dying/not going anywhere, right?

Can you elaborate on interest and disinterest?

If I hadn't deleted all of my texts with girls (good way for me to keep thinking forward) I would gladly do so.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
