My problem was always asking too many questions (maybe from being a teacher😅). It must have seemed like a job interview for them. I like the idea of using assumptions instead.👌
I once put my name and number on a small piece of paper, folded it up, put it in my hand and "shook hands" with the waitress on the way out. Cheesy but it worked
