No you're right, reading to achieve something is pretty stupid. That doesn't mean reading itself is stupid which it appears a lot of people in this comment section took your post as saying. The actual problem people have with reading is they don't know how to analytically read. Most people learnt fundamental reading in elementary school and didn't build on it at all from there. Interesting to note that I have a much easier time expressing myself while reading a challenging novel.

I agree but a guy that is 6ft and 175lbs saying he is lifting more and eating more but 'just can't grow' isn't going to benefit from 12 week cycle let alone an 8 week cycle. If you can't figure out how to grow past 6ft 175lbs naturally then you're not going to be able to keep any of the muscle you gain from cycling.
