Switch here, I've yet to find one single woman who didn't treat me far better when I was the dom. Like night and day. I can't imagine myself ever not being dom after seeing how stark it is

Yeah but I'm talking about average to attractive women. If someone's dumpster diving as a shorter guy it's not really an issue. And like I said in another comment a lot of those women end up with guys under 6ft because there's just not enough of them to go around, but it's rarely because that's what they want. Again just going off of my experience but I've been in this industry for 11 years now and the amount of people who think 6ft is the average male height is kinda wild
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 03:47 PM
4

I get this more from the gossip circles I find myself around (these women are brutal I'm ngl it probably gives me a bias) but from what I've gathered it's seen as embarrassing. Like they don't neccesarily find it gross or terribly unattractive but would be embarrassed to be seen with someone short
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:36 PM

Could be locational, but tbh I think it's more that women will just settle to not be single. A lot of the girls that say they'd never date a 5'11 or shorter guy end up doing so, but having been around enough female gossip in my life I can tell You most of them aren't happy about it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 09:15 PM
4

Nah that's the standard I hear a ton. I work in the dance industry and being 6'3 a lot of girls aren't ashamed to say that 6ft is the standard for height in a guy
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:24 PM
4

Even then, just being likable isn't really enough if you aren't naturally attractive. Which for most people is 6ft and a decent face card. Of the women I've been with none would've been with someone under 6ft for any reason. exceptions to that exist but are limited
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 08:21 PM
5

This equates to just don't date for a lot of dudes. If you're under 6ft the pool is pretty small for you
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 06:40 PM

You say that but like I said, all my partners have been including my current one. It's partly by luck on my part and partly by my own preference but I have gotten what I can't provide lol. Although I haven't really found many women that care either way the same way dudes do
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 01:43 PM
-3

I'm gonna be the outlier here and say this guy is me. All my partners have been first timers and I'd like to marry my current partner who was a virgin before we got tg. Can only really say it's because I find them more appealing overall
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 04:29 PM

I genuinely don't think that's the worst thing. If you want to leave and do something else that's alright but you can't be not married to that person or remarry in the future. Doesn't put your life on pause forever but keeps the consequences of a life long commitment
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 11:16 PM
6

I think the issue is just how Willy nilly people treat marriage. The knowledge that they can just get divorced leads people to act like assholes because they know it was never really a lifelong commitment. TBH I think it would be helped if marriages were genuinely permanent barring physical abuse. Would mean people would make the decision a lot less frivolously and take it more seriously when they're in it
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 09:31 PM
7

Eh, it's half true. Yes if a woman isn't attracted to you then of course no amount of gift giving or good treatment will keep them around or make them find you hot. The same way that if I dated a 400lb girl it doesn't matter how kind she is I'll hard pass. But there's a limit to it. You can be hot and she can find you attractive but if you treat her like shit she'll pick the hot guy who also treats her well every time
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 09:21 PM
1

It's not at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 06:20 PM
6

I'm not sure it just strikes me as weird for a guy to value a woman for her money like that. Feels kinda backwards
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 05:56 PM
2

That sounds kinda messed up I won't lie
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 05:54 PM
1

Honestly I can kind of agree. I love having a partner that makes less than me
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 05:52 PM

I can't believe I've actually encountered a sentient person who uses Chad and beta as terms unironically.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 02:26 PM
3

Eh, I've never had this issue. But I also don't try and make my gf finish with just penetration alone. In fact I've found it pretty hard to do so. Using oral or my hand it's actually extremely easy
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:48 AM
29

Normalize saying you have a small penis instead of saying you like tight girls
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 02:13 PM
2

Figure out why he’s being rejected, fix what he can.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/24 07:06 PM

Nah, I just don’t find “feisty” women attractive. I couldn’t imagine having to sleep with one. In the flip side a sweeter/more submissive girl can afford to be less traditionally attractive and me find them more attractive personally. I think it’s just a preference thing my dude
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 07:23 PM

A lot of people here saying men should just have higher standards when what that actually leads to is a guy who is just alone forever. Assuming you’re not the kind of guy who was already pulling women with desirable qualities to begin with, raising your standards just makes you lonely. Which for most men is way worse than an eh relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 01:35 PM

Yes exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 04:17 PM
1

The difference is massive what? Michael must just be a virgin on account of being an archangel or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 04:46 PM
4

But not in a particular skill. It’s just general competence, and confidence in my ability to gain competence in things I don’t currently have. Which is why whether im currently competent in a given situation doesn’t really matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:35 PM

I agree for the most part, but I do think if your goal is to find someone and have a relationship some things are kinda standard for the majority of people. You’ll just have a hard time not paying for dates as a guy. Sure there’s people that will Overlook that, but there’s also people who are really into the morbidly obese. Good luck finding one.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:33 PM
2

Well I it’s not so much that I have confidence in the fact that I don’t have skills in certain areas, but that I am an overall capable person that can do whatever I need to in a given situation because of the broad work I’ve done on myself. I’m a physically fit person, I’ve maintained my appearance how I like it, and I take my continued education seriously enough that I’m confident in my ability to learn. Therefore say someone wants to play a sport I’ve never touched before, or I’m in an unfamil…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:22 PM
9

Eh I disagree. As someone who used to very much dislike themselves, and now very much likes myself, confidence is more a state than anything else. I’m confident not in any particular area, but just in myself in general. I don’t need to be proficient in whatever I’m doing to be confident, because I’m confident in my ability to learn and excel in whatever situation I’m in. And even if I fail, I know my worth compared to the world around me doesn’t diminish any of my positive qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:03 PM

Exactly like don’t we all kind of expect unequal treatment in some areas? That’s kinda the whole point of the differences between sexes. My guess is op is too broke to pay for dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 04:59 PM
33

I mean in fairness, don’t we also do that?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 04:11 PM
5

And the alternative is what? Just never going on dates to begin with 😂 you do what you gotta do
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 03:37 AM
5

Not really a bait, more just hitting the requirements to date the majority of people. Being masculine and having an amount of oonga booga charm is just the prerequisite for getting a non desperate partner most of the time. It’s not that you pretend to be someone else, you just act in a way that’s attractive to people, even if that’s not how you’d act in a vacuum.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 02:54 AM
8

It’s kinda the optimal play, at least in my experience for getting that first date. Doesn’t matter if someone would like your personality if you never attract them enough to get on that first date. Which generally means the same things for most people. Of course there’s exceptions to that like with anything else, but you’re never guaranteed to meet any of them in your lifetime
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 02:25 AM
3

Just gonna out in here my personal experience. Gf of 5 years from 18-23 told me last year when I started actually getting my life together and working towards larger financial goals that I was physically more attractive. Idk about all the ratios and whatnot but it seems to be true to an extent. If you’re ugly it probably doesn’t matter tho
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 05:00 PM
1

Depends on your circles. I’m straight but I’m an owner of a dance competition and you see no shortage of advances from men here. I assume there’s probably other industries/hobbies like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 05:54 PM
2

Is it wrong to sell people drugs or facilitate gambling then when the adults doing it are fully consensual? Or how a lot of mobile games specifically design social aspects in tandem with monetization plans to purposefully exploit lonely/anxious people? It’s wrong because it’s taking advantage of sick people, who probably wouldn’t want to be doing that if they were in better mental health.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 05:37 PM

This is why you gotta run background checks boys 🫡 this one’s for the streets
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:32 PM
1

I mean that’s what dating is for no? There’s no other point to marriage if not exclusive and lifelong love and commitment
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 06:44 PM
1

Pretty much my only thing that triggers that kinda response is a high body count type deal. At least that’s the only thing that gets the innate ew response out of someone
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/23 01:19 AM
3

Ohh nvm I’d thought it was like a “only way I’d ever marry a woman is to shut her up” type thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 12:25 AM
3

You probably shouldn’t date lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 12:21 AM
0

Is it? Are there any answers that would make this any better? End of the day you don’t matter to them like past partners did.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 06:31 PM
1

Now some of that’s a whole different thing. I’d say for posting pictures with genuine past partners, sure it’s rude but a reap what you sow kinda thing. Revenge p*rn and making stuff up is both awful and I feel like probably illegal
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/23 04:22 AM
5

Eh most men’s feelings towards women who sleep around is just an automatic disgust response. I guess you could call it something similar to the ick for women. It just makes me think you probably aren’t someone worth dating, and I’m gonna find it hard to have sympathy for those choices coming back to bite you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 05:37 PM
-1

I’d prefer to pay anyway, I think any man that’s able to should at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 03:42 PM
-1

Men are more accepting largely because a lot of men don’t care how a woman behaves, we care if we can get her in bed. Women with minor disabilities or mental disorders are easier to get in bed. So most men have no reason to care.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 05:47 PM
-1

The same way you become friends with anyone else, by being over 6ft tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 06:21 PM
11

People like chasing. I’ve seen this in pretty much every girl I’ve ever been with. Go in too hard and they pull back, pull back and they go in.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/23 04:42 PM
1

I mean, what can even be done if it were somehow problematic? Like would you just have men date women they aren’t attracted to?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 10:12 PM
-1

Having a job or career in this economy is more of a necessity than anything, most guys would prefer you have some kind of job. It’s when that job/career becomes a hyper fixation that it becomes masculine and a turnoff for guys. Although if a guy were so financially well off he could afford it I assume someone without a job, or working less hours would probably be preferable.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 01:42 PM
2

I just exist as a tall decently athletic guy. These mostly only apply to ugly people. I’ve at least never had to worry about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/23 07:10 PM
1

Wouldn’t that make you shallow? Since you wouldn’t date someone based on something they can’t change?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 09:00 PM
1

Whelp there you go lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:47 PM
1

So would you date a girl who was 300+ lbs if they were so because of a condition they couldn’t help?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:38 PM
1

Why is being able to control it a factor? It’s still appearance based in functionality either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 08:18 PM
1

I mean, is weight only important to shallow men?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 07:47 PM
2

Eh honestly im an introverted dude with a few masculine hobbies and not the most spontaneous and it’s never effected me. At least I’ve never had anyone call me boring. Helps that I’m tall though
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 03:46 PM
3

Beyond that chad isn’t, well real, I assume guys just get upset that they’re lonely and need a way to rationalize that without taking responsibility for their inadequacies
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 04:36 PM
0

Slim or masculine? Those aren’t the same. Femboy physiques just aren’t the natural form of a man, which is muscular and athletic. If you aren’t that it’s because you aren’t active enough in male activities. Lift weights or practice a martial art and eat better foods like white meats or fish.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 04:20 PM
1

Sad. Doing womanly exercise as a man, feminine physique. You’d do well as a prison gf though. Get some muscle in the gym like a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:19 PM
-2

Uh friend, I do have abs. If you don’t it’s because you’re a lazy obese man who should only date other obese women. Go to the gym
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 05:15 AM
-1

I expect you to have a six pack yeah
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:36 AM
1

Out of these? The first ones easily. It’s not even remotely close.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 03:35 AM
1

Is it any different to be with someone because of their appearance alone? It’s just as superfluous imo. Just like she wouldn’t be with you if you didn’t have money, she’d also leave you if you were shorter or didn’t have as naturally appealing of a face.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 08:40 PM
1

Yeah it still helps. But they also fuck guys that aren’t naturally as attractive that have something else going for them all the time. I’ve seen 5ft guys with crazy success with women because they’re also jacked and funny. Sure it helps to be morn attractive but it’s not some death sentence like thinking genetics is all that matters is.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 02:32 AM
-1

Idk kinda sounds like women might not be attracted to guys like this because you’re losers not genetics. Like any guy can be rich funny and jacked. Literally all of us. Even if you’re short or kinda dumb that’s enough to be attractive to anyone below an 8-9
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 12:57 AM

I’ll be abuck, any human below a 9.8 who types that will never find love regardless of genetics. Unless you’re born 4ft tall with one leg, severe autism, and an iq of room temp or lower you can be above average with work
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 12:55 AM
2

Never delt with any of that myself. Being cautious is one thing, like I don’t sleep with people until at least a month in and you don’t start saying you love people on the first date. But as soon as you try and make it some numbers game you are 100% guaranteed to only pull people that are disingenuous, because you are as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 07:31 PM
3

Go gym, accept a discipline within your means, and find a passion you can chase after meaningfully. Everything else is optional.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 05:26 PM
-1

well I mean, for ugly people the solution is just dating even uglier people, would the same not kinda apply here? Smaller market but it should work in theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:38 PM
3

True, I think the main mistake here is the idea that Joey next door will ever actually get into a relationship with most women. The real advantage of being conventionally attractive is that you get your foot in the door and the first couple red flags won’t be acknowledged. After that your behavior matters for the most part. If you’re ugly however you’re behavior doesn’t matter at all, because you’re not getting that first date regardless unless she is an even more ugly person. Not that that’s wr…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 06:30 PM
2

To me those just seem like near universal character traits that aren’t really linked to one gender or the other. If anything I probably know more men to be lacking genuine self confidence. Imo masculinity is just the traits that are significantly more common in one gender as opposed to the other. We’re more aggressive, less agreeable, more goal driven, and more physically inclined among other things. Where women are less aggressive, more agreeable, more nurturing etc. very few people cross the l…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 05:00 PM
3

I mean yeah but that’s just being a good person. Most women who have any morals will be all of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 04:33 PM
4

So then a good person who is a female should he masculine
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 04:14 PM

That just sounds like investment prostitution to me, which is also just significantly less cost effective than buying one. If sex is the sole goal and you intend to use money to reinforce that outcome, prostitution is a far better alternative than this. If you want a relationship, you could do the same thing but wait for emotional cues that she’s interested in you as a person. Essentially just traditional dating
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:47 PM

Now I do think positive behavior should always be reinforced in any interaction. But bringing money into it will always run that risk of them valuing it more than you’d like. If the goal is to vet out people with Ill intentions, which it really should be, just saying what you’re looking for and what kind of relationship you’ll accept would be more efficient imo. If she doesn’t wanna sleep with you for instance, saying you expect that from a relationship as some point will usually be enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:45 PM

Even in the perfect scenario where she never catches on, does that not still run the risk of her developing that motive? Like yeah you can be sure that she’d be with you even if you were poor, but now it could very well turn transactional. It also implies that sex is the penultimate behavior you’re trying to encourage as opposed to loyalty or affection. Like would you treat a girl poorly if she were just modest or wanted to have a traditional relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:37 PM

Why do you assume sex equals genuine attraction, especially if there’s a financial incentive for them to do it? If anything I think it would attract the opposites
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:26 PM

I mean, you want to essentially pay people to sleep with you yes? It’s transactional. But if that’s the goal then you could do the same without ever spending money on them. So specifically paying people to have sex is the end goal here.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:18 PM

So you’re only interested in whores then? That or money must be tight? I can’t see this being an actual tactic if you wanted to find a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:15 PM
1

Huh that’s interesting. I wonder then why it’s different for guys around that age, generally speaking anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:42 PM
1

Huh really? I’d always kinda assumed it was like men where they just aren’t able to date what they find attractive anymore
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:25 PM
1

They usually have more success in the dating market around those ages, but they don’t understand that the reason why isn’t that they’re actually more desirable, but that women in that age range are generally more desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 07:14 PM
2

Nah I could never sub out someone actually wanting me and a genuine connection for what is essentially a living flesh light.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:51 PM
7

Devour the child
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 03:03 PM
5

I mean that’s preferable if anything. I’d rather be with someone who hasn’t been with anyone else yet, just seems more special when it’s exclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 03:57 AM
1

I mean, I’ve cold approached in the past. You just gotta be a normal human being who isn’t creepy or gross looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 07:33 PM
3

Eh idk. I’ve always been an openly emotional dude, but when it’s appropriate and it’s not my whole personality. I’ve cried in front of my current gf of 4 years almost as much as she has in front of me and it’s never really made a difference. It’s also never hindered me in dating before her.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 05:22 PM
2

I’d love to be like 6’5 ish. I always feel like I’m just on the cusp of being really tall lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 03:06 PM
1

Idk if I’d say that, I’m above average sure but I’m also no model and I’ve seen guys that get approached much more than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 10:19 PM
0

Yes…ish. I’ve had female friends that were platonic in practice, but there’s always been some level of tension one sided or not. I can’t really see myself being close to a girl I don’t have some kind of feelings for, it’s why when I’m taken I don’t do one on one activities with girls outside of group settings.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 10:18 PM
53

I can’t say what it’s like for short guys, but I’ve definitely felt the benefits of being tall (6’3) I’ve had people approach me on that alone decently often
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:02 PM
0

Aye give it a shot, I’d like to compare the differences 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 06:16 PM
5

I’d say he’s average, just not acceptable. The average guy is probably lonely, with maybe one or two decent prospects. If you’re 50th percentile overall you may be average, but you’re also not good enough
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:04 PM
1

Oh yeah 100% there are exceptions. Staying active and having a remotely decent diet can stave off most of that side of aging, especially for men. It’s just not what I’d call common for people to live like that especially as they get older.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:00 PM
38

Partially true, but I think you could easily replace horny with lonely and it still be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 04:07 PM
1

Well less so a natural part of aging and more just what’s average. I think the average person in general is fat, which is exasperated by aging. Although that’s less a woman thibg and more a human thing, especially in America where I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 09:25 PM
5

Well other than that it’s rare, most women don’t find short guys attractive. It’s the same reason you rarely find rich women dating poor men, or a guy with a six pack dating a woman who is 300lbs. It happens it’s just rare
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:55 PM
1

Mostly ranging from overweight to obese (with exceptions obviously) starting to age in the face, usually some sunken features, just age things really.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:01 PM
4

That’s really all I’m looking for. I don’t want to sleep around, and I never have. My shortest relationship is a year and I’m currently in a four year talking about marriage. To each their own but I can’t imagine anything being better than this
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 12:28 AM
2

I mean even outside of here I never actually heard anything disparaging about Jonah. Even irl all I’ve heard from women and men is how weird it is
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 12:26 AM
8

Ngl I’m pretty sure the general consensus is that he did nothing wrong and some people are just being delusional about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 09:48 PM
2

I mean yeah if you don’t want to do something you shouldn’t, but I can’t imagine being in a relationship and not wanting to do things for my partner. Like is that not why I’m here? And how could you possibly expect head in return
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 09:08 PM
1

I mean yeah, that’s getting out of the friendzone. It’s not some eternal curse, just a sad place many men find themselves sometimes
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 07:53 PM
2

Depends on the person. Overall going to the gym is a plus though, I’d rather be with someone who is also active and in shape generally. Wont lie I’m 70% sure most guys here wouldn’t date one because of insecurities about their own fitness level
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 04:55 PM
2

I, have by preference and half by circumstance have only ever been with virgins. I’m not sure if it’s correlated but I also happen to value kindness and innocence as personality traits. Either way I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them so far so I’d likely keep that preference
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 08:17 PM
9

I mean yeah, objectively younger women are just usually gonna be more attractive. It’s similar to tall guys, yeah they might have other factors that detract from them but generally you’d prefer tall to short and young to old
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 07:42 PM
1

Nah that’s comfort. I can be comfortable with anyone given time but confidence is with you in most every interaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 06:31 PM
3

Yeah that’s honestly true, but in the opposite way. Where a guy with no confidence won’t get any attention a girl with no confidence is prone to being used by guys with Ill intentions.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 06:25 PM
5

Eh it can can kinda work to an extent but it’s not sustainable and most people can see right through that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 05:18 PM
1

I like women, I enjoy their attention and I very much love my feminine partner. But that’s also coming from someone who has never had trouble getting or keeping a girlfriend. If I were short fat socially inept or ugly I could understand how someone might get frustrated
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 03:15 PM
2

The first and it’s not even close.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:11 PM

Not happily married but in a strong 4 year relationship looking towards marriage soon, I honestly feel bad for a lot of the incel type people with self destructive mindsets. So I engage in conversation to try and see why they’re like that and what should be done about their situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 10:09 PM
2

They can usually tell, but it’s probably in a guys best interest to play it off like he isn’t if he can help it, or lie if it comes to it. Especially for the first time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 03:19 PM
0

Honestly I’d prefer if she did, she’s currently veryyyyy small at 95 lbs and I’d probably prefer if she gained a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 02:47 PM
2

Idk if I’d say it would neverrr advise that. It’s not exactly a chivalrous set of ideals
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 03:25 AM
1

Daughter? No idea who you’re talking about 🥸 never met that girl in my life
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/23 08:32 PM
3

Honestly no. I don’t have anything against people that wanna live that way, but I don’t want to have any major grievances with my life partner over something so major
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/23 06:00 PM

If you’re hot, literally anywhere. Roll up to their home and if you’re tall they’ll probably be chill. If you’re ugly? Nowhere, go home and watch anime.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:10 PM
2

Yeah I will say it’s not like I’d never date anyone over 25, it’s just a preference. Although I think that goes for most guys. It’s like being tall for a guy, you’ll have an advantage with the majority of girls but it’s not the only factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 04:11 PM
4

I mean, is it not also common knowledge that young people are more attractive than old people tho? Like yeah naivety is preferable but they’re also just hotter
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 03:56 PM
1

Honestly both. Some 28 year old still look youthful but I’ve also seen a good few that don’t. But even in the case that they do still look attractive, they have less time to be so until their age catches up with them just like anyone else. But honestly it’s more an attitude thing. At least in my experience younger girls tend to be nicer and less cynical. Naivety to an extent is also fun, it’s always satisfying as a guy to be someones first time taken to a really nice restaurant or on a spectacul…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 03:37 PM
5

Age out no, but someone below 25 will generally be more desirable than someone over 25. The same way a guy over 6ft will generally be more desirable than someone below. It’s not the end all but it definitely contributes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 03:27 PM
2

Huh really? I coulda sworn I’d read something about that in Japan. Well That’s mildly embarrassing.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 01:30 AM
2

Preferably never. It’s an unhealthy thing to do at any age. Same way I’d rather they never try drugs or the like. Will they? Almost definitely. Should they? Probably not.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 07:28 PM
3

Ah well that’s rough, single corner for all eternity with you then.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 07:00 PM
-2

Honestly it is a super rare thing nowadays. I lucked out getting a superrr traditional partner who was half the reason I gave this type of relationship a try to begin with. Cant say I’ve met many people like her in that regard
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 05:58 PM
7

Oh god, that’s not even submissive that’s just, I don’t even know what that is,
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 05:56 PM
3

And we do often talk about it, and she’s said that she just trusts me to make calls that will keep her happy because I historically have. But she also still insists when it’s been too focused towards her dates that we do something for me. There’s still always ongoing conversation, we just have an end all to make sure changes are implemented and we don’t just stall out. At least it works for us
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 05:16 PM
14

That sounds like such a sweet dynamic, and exactly what me and my partner are shooting for. Maybe my use of the word submissive wasn’t accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 05:07 PM
1

Honestly what I’m trying to build is the opposite. I think it can, in the best of cases at least, but the guy in a position to operate in the girl/families best interest as opposed to his own. For instance in my relationship I know my gf is prone to ignoring her own needs in favor of doing things my way. I kinda have to veto her always trying to do what she knows I’d like because otherwise she’d never get to do what she enjoys. She knows I dread hiking, so I have to say no we’re going for this d…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 05:06 PM
3

Yeah figured. It might’ve been a fair take if it had.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 04:21 PM
1

Oh yeah 100% women want someone bigger than them, but idk if it’s always proportionally bigger. I’m 6’4 230lbs, pretty muscular guy but my gf is 5’4 95lbs. Again though might just be difference of experience. I’ve always had more success with smaller girls for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 04:08 PM
3

Fair enough, but the does this apply to women as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 04:05 PM
11

I mean there is a reason male suicides in Japan are ridiculously high as well. I know the Japanese population is a bit more skewed towards women, but honestly I’m not sure why the discrepancy is so high there. I mean sure women get more dates here but 40% of men? I highly doubt that’s the case here.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 04:02 PM
16

Might just be a difference in experiences. From what I’ve seen physical masculinity trumps most everything. I’m decently tall and have a decent frame and have had many girls initiate based solely on that alone self admittedly. My gf of 4 years told me a while back that she found me much more attractive after a started working out more and focusing more on my work than always seeing her. And that’s pretty consistent with what I’ve seen around me, at least I’ve never seen a guy over 6’2 struggle t…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 04:01 PM

Submission is the goal, not authority. Submission is voluntary and conditional. Its, “I’ll give you all my input and trust you to genuinely act in my best interest, but also generally let you have the last word within reason because it’s a more efficient way to operate as a unit”. Not “do what I want now”. And if hypothetically divorce didn’t exist, what do you do when the wife just hates you because she’s trapped with you now? Sleep in another bedroom? Go live with her parents? Most likely have…

Just jealousy, same reason guys complain when girls are with men with money. No shit they’re more desirable, everyone knows that. It’s blatantly better to be young than old.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 03:52 AM
1

Ngl I’ve never actually used a dating app or anything like that, seems like an awful way to meet someone who actually wants a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:26 PM
1

Who said I was envious? I have a gf of 4 years. Dating has never really been an issue of mine, but I see a lot of really sad guys on this sub so I come to try and see why they’re so inept and what they can do to improve themselves. Also are you an adult? Surely if you go out anywhere normal you’ve seen how many people who obviously have no money, are extremely overweight and are your obvious trailer park types are with eachother. Yeah maybe a few of them are sleeper millionaires who just have aw…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 01:22 PM
1

No, I meant you can go and see some fat ugly guy with a girl who is clearly not attractive. You don’t need dark triad traits or whatever to attract women you just have to take care of yourself and have a decent appearance. I’m 6’3 and workout so I can be as nice to girls as I want to and it’s never kept me from always having a partner
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:54 PM
1

Walk into your local grocery store, I promise after a few minutes you’ll find a lowwww quality guy with a girl. She’ll just be equally gross
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/23 12:46 PM
1

True, but you can’t stick around if you never get in the door. You can be as kind as you want and that’s good, but it won’t actually help you in relationships if you aren’t able to get someone’s attention to begin with
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 10:53 PM
1

I just cant imagine any other way you’d be able to force women to be with men they don’t actually find attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 09:09 PM
1

I feel like that’s more of a net neutral than anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:41 PM
6

I hate what it does to a lot of young men and the impact it has on sex on a societal level. So I guess more the industry and its existence. Not to mention how much abuse and exploitation of women goes on in it
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 08:07 PM
3

What does that really do for anyone though?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 07:20 PM
3

I mean I agree, but it seems a lot of guys say these things like there’s any solution besides getting some game and going gym
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:34 PM
4

And I really should’ve clarified I don’t think people should be harassed or anything on any kind of personal level, I get why someone would do of. But I think telling someone what they’re doing is scummy and harmful is also correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:29 PM
14

Yes, actually I think porn is worse overall at the moment. It’s consequences are further reaching.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:25 PM
1

I mean, what’s the solution here? Arranged marriages?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:23 PM
10

Because you’re part of a degenerate industry that hurts society and individuals. It’s the same way I feel about drug dealers or sex traffickers, just less severe than the latter. They’re taking advantage of themselves, men, and degrading the quality of relationships as a whole. Just a scummy industry
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/23 06:19 PM
1

Ohhh I see I’m goofy, we were using different terms it was my bad. I was looking at median income and using average as a marker for the common man, not average in a mathematics sense. The median income in the us is 44k, which is where the average person sits without the numbers being pushed up by rich homies. However that’s for everyone, guys are slightly higher
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/23 03:41 PM
1

I’m a dude, and I just looked up statistics in developed countries. But even here in the US 60k is above average sad as that is
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/23 12:48 PM
1

Like if a guy is fat and ugly, but complains no one wants him (incels) is he not just asking girls who aren’t attracted to him to sleep with him?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/23 12:18 PM
5

Privileged with what? That I am someone who chooses to take care of myself? It’s not like you really need a lot of money to do calisthenics and buy a bar of soap. That’s a personal choice
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:45 PM
2

This isn’t trolling, I’m just someone who works out and takes care of myself, and I was honestly blown Away at how awful most guys are. It genuinely seems like it should be easy to beat average. Also idk what women label men as honestly, I just know that where the average man is on a lot of these metrics, it should be very easy for anyone with an inkling of discipline to beat most guys in the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:39 PM
1

Wdym? Is the implication here that it’s arrogant to think being in shape and hygienic is something easy?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:33 PM
2

This wasn’t even using US averages 💀 I searched global for weight and hygiene. I imagine it’s even worse here
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:49 PM
2

Wow, so it really is that easy huh.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:43 PM
-1

But if it’s similar numbers for men, honestly it shouldn’t be that hard to get into that 90th percentile of men with even the most basic level of discipline. I mean if we get to healthy build it can’t be that hard right?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:42 PM
1

If the average dude is having sex I’m honestly surprised. Like I said the average dude is just awful lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:39 PM
-1

I mean when you actually stop to look around it makes a lot of sense. Like where I’m working maybe one guy in this room isn’t overweight besides me. Kinda a confidence boost ngl
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:32 PM
3

I mean yeah, I say that as well even if I don’t believe it. I’ve also knows the kind of insecurities a lot of women can hold onto it’s just bravado usually
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 03:32 PM
0

How do you have experience with that if you don’t live in Asia? Because Asian women in America are still culturally (usually) gonna be similar to American women
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 12:23 PM
1

And I really doubt that. I’ve been there when I was in the barrel scraping phase way back, and these girls were thrilled a dude just noticed they existed.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 11:52 AM
1

I’m referring to relationships more specifically. I don’t really care about the preferences of guys motivated solely by horny, they’re probably sexless for a good reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 11:51 AM
1

My brother in Christ, if you’re a 1, even in Asia they probably won’t want you as is. Go gym
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 11:50 AM
1

I just think it’s a way to guarantee you aren’t lonely that pretty much anyone can use. I don’t think women are better but that currently men tend to date down more often than not
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 12:12 PM
3

I’m a huge fan of the self improvement mindset prior to dating. Works out best for everyone involved, keep up the good work whoever you are!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 01:39 AM
1

I mean, is that not what unattractive men are already asking for?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 01:38 AM
6

If that were the case yes, but I’ve seen some absolute urchins get dates with normal girls. I’m not anything exceptional, but I’ve been in monogamous relationships without much of a gap between for going on nine years, it’s really not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 09:57 PM
8

Well if no woman will be with you besides them, that’s probably your sign yknow?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 09:50 PM
1

Well you know what I mean, all of us not Greek statues and rich people. Like 99.9999%
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:32 PM
0

No get a hobby 100% it will help, just with that one specifically get one like a normal person and find something you enjoy that’s healthy. For me it was the gym and bjj. (Highly recommend both) but most anything will work if you actually want to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:24 PM
1

And you’ll also find where you sit compared to them. Any homeless person would think any income is acceptable, that’s in your range for this analogy. A software dev would think my income is middling, so that’s out of it. Same with weight for instance. If someone thinks you’re healthy, they’re in your dating range there, but when someone with a six pack thinks you’re fat they’re ofc out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:18 PM
2

Just in general. You should do things because you enjoy them which will lead to meeting people. Not faking human behavior so you can find someone yknow?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:17 PM
2

Nothing Inherently wrong with it, but it’s a veryyy slippery slope for most guys. Most guys who just want sex also just happen to be degens or some level of sexist. If you’ve made it work well then good on you, that’s just a rare thing, especially for Reddit dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:11 PM
-1

Well, if you’re taking a hobby just to meet women you probably have some other issues ngl. But otherwise Pick something not neckbeardy that’s healthy and you’ll either find someone, or be a higher quality dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:09 PM
2

I mean, you’re probably a menace to society if that’s the case 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:08 PM
2

Yeah idk where you live by Midwest US where I’ve been that’s just not true. Average guy can land a pretty average - slightly below average girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:07 PM
1

But if you’re unattractive, ie the people who would need to, aren’t you asking women to do that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:59 PM
1

Yes, women are usually pickier than men. That’s why you date down, especially to start out.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:52 PM
1

But wouldn’t anyone take their partner in a super models body if they could? It’s not like anyone could ever be an actually perfect match appearance wise
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:50 PM
2

The woman generally. If she thinks she’s dating up it’s pretty hard to fail
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:46 PM
0

Unattractive, low income, poor social skills. Pretty much any significant combination of unattractive features.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:41 PM
1

Well that would depend on you specifically and what qualities you might be lacking, and exactly where you are compared to the people around you. But in general, if you wanted to abuse the settling tactic, just asking out people you’d normally consider too x or y to date is the jist of it. Specifically if x and y are superficial. Is your bmi over the average? That’s no longer something to weed out in dating. Not as hygienic as other guys? Also not something to consider etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:28 PM
1

I mean, the biggest city I’ve been in for a long time is Cincinnati or Raleigh, so I can’t really compare it to la or ny, but the difference between those cities and rural is negligible.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:10 PM
3

If you’re a solid 0 then, well christ just do something 😂 literally any improvement at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:08 PM
2

Hey that could be the move. Women here don’t seem any less attractive but guys reallyyyy are
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 06:02 PM
1

Yo same on the ibs, for me bulking was about picking exactly when I can afford to get my calories in and have a restroom a few hours later lol. But honestly location might be the issue here. LA is ridiculous and although I’ve never been there, I can say you’d be an easy 7-8 in NC or TN based on what you said
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:57 PM
1

Nono I mean if he is a genuine 40th percentile and that’s a fact he can certainly land a 20th. Maybe higher, but he’s mostly always gonna land someone that much lower than himself. If your soul goal is only to either not be lonely or have sex it’s an effective thing to do. Is it a bit broken? Sure but men have to be better than our partners most of the time, that’s just reality. You have to improve or settle.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:40 PM
1

Ooo this is a tough one. I guess all you could do is ask around and see what the general consensus wherever you are is. I go by western standards but I grew up here so it’s pretty ingrained into me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:20 PM

Oo that’s a tough one. Are we talking like severe visible autism or like standard foot tapping autism? If it’s severe then honestly that’s a grey area I really don’t know. I would certainly be a little worried if I was with an autistic girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:19 PM

Now that’s just false. I’m working with a buddy rn who is employed by cruise ships as an emcee. He is jacked out of his mind and could smooth talk anyone, but go back a decade and I remember him literally throwing up mid conversation with a girl because he couldn’t talk right. Social skills and charisma overlap in a ton of areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:03 PM
3

But I love video games and anime, I’m also into dnd. I’m a nerd by most any standard I also just enjoy going to the gym and training mma. I mean yeah talking to girls is scary I get it, but being unable to hold a normal conversation is indicative of some really serious issues one way or another.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:01 PM
5

Oh god, yeah if even speaking to other people is an issue for someone then yeah that’s a whole other level. To be honest that sounds like severe Down syndrome/autism type stuff though. If you’ve been even slightly socialized in your life and aren’t severely handicapped that shouldn’t be an issue for a normal person.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:38 PM
-1

Well that’s honestly kinda in line with my argument. I don’t think for instance a 40th percentile guy should just go for another 40th percentile girl, I’d say shooting down to 20th is probably a good move as it’s mostly guaranteed success with even moderate social skills. Shoot lower than you are, and build yourself up in the meantime. Settle until you don’t need to, or if self reflection and improvement isn’t something you want, continue to settle yknow?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:36 PM
2

No I reallyyyy wasn’t I promise. I was a nervous wreck even with my first gf who was by all standards not as attractive as me even then. I literally didn’t kiss her the first time she asked because I got too nervous and just left 😂 she dated me solely because I gave her the time of day as someone she knew she couldn’t normally pull.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:34 PM
1

I’ve been in relationships without much break between for going on 9 years. I’ve had success here which is why I’m giving advice. Before I went to the gym and got on that self improvement mindset I dated down until I didn’t have to. I certainly wasn’t charismatic then, although now I probably qualify.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:28 PM

True you don’t, but if you’re starting point is so low that you’d be unable to date anyone you’re attracted to it’s probably in your best interest. Well self improvement is always in everyone’s best interest but especially for dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:24 PM

But in practice that will typically be about the same. If a guy is dating a girl steadily he’ll likely say he’s taken around the same time she will. The same way a guy won’t say he’s taken if he’s only getting sex just like she will. Seems like pretty niche cases where a guy would say he’s taken and the girl wouldn’t or vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:20 PM

But you said women also define talking phase and early stage dating as single🗿
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:16 PM

Yeah that’s a whole different thing for them, but you could probably diagnose like 50% of guys with autism if you wanted. It’s not that hard and I never even took medication. I assume that’s just easier
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:15 PM

Not sure I agree here. The implication would be if guys were in a relationship without sex they’d say they were single? Or that if they were just hooking up they’d say they weren’t single?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:10 PM

Yes it’s a choice. The worst a guy can be, at his absolutely peak and barring any lifelong handicaps or disabilities, is still pretty darn far above average. Anyone can be jacked, get a degree and make money, and learn social skills. You’re already way above average even if you’re short and awkward. And before someone says oh but I was born with autism!!|! So was I, diagnosed with Asperger’s as a kid and it really doesn’t matter than much if it’s not crippling. You can still be socially acceptab…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:08 PM
1

Yeah, but they will date people consistently who are a bit better than them. If a guy is a 4, he can usually pull 1s and 2s at the very least.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:37 PM
3

Aren’t we all kinda settling though? Like what guy wouldn’t want to date a supermodel, but knows they never could. Same reversed, we’d all like the best for the most part.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:36 PM
3

I uh, date women lol. In a relationship of 4 years rn.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:32 PM
2

Then why does it matter if the goal is a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:31 PM
5

If your only goal from women is sex, well you probably shouldn’t be around women to begin with anyway ngl.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:14 PM
1

Yes, but ofc they’ll also never date that hypothetical chad. Pick a girl a little below you, and they’ll still be happy to be dating up until you can do better.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:14 PM
9

Yes exactly. Go local, meet people around you, vibe at local bars, maybe get a hobby etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:12 PM
5

I do love some mentally illussy. But hey go you man you’ve actually won.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:11 PM
3

Yeah advice was mostly for men, lower your standards to just below where you are and you can have a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:10 PM

You kinda have to be careful with those lucky cases, especially as a guy. Ofc it’s always different case by case but generally you’re running a much higher chance of getting cheated on as a guy if the girl is out of your league.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 03:09 PM
7

Are you sure you’re that below average then? Otherwise good job man you won. Very few men will ever actually date up
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:56 PM
1

Wdym?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:55 PM
-6

Wdym not for you? Like it’s not something you enjoy or not something you can have?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:28 PM
1

Nahh they aren’t lol. Was single for the first time in 8 years this time last year and that month suckeddd.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:21 PM
9

That sounds like just a bad person ngl. At least I’ve never been with anyone mean enough to imply that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:13 PM
2

Yeah that’s just so false. Social competence is important yes but everyone can be nice. It’s the standard not a bonus, but I think you know that 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:09 PM
2

I’d debate that last point. Imo the lowest a guy can peak at without deformation or a sever mental handicap is 6. If you’re jacked, have money, and have your life in order, I think a 6 is generously low and every guy can achieve that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:00 PM
19

Incorrect appraisals then. You have to be able to realistically value yourself in the dating market or ofc they’ll fail. Generally I’d say it’s best to take whatever you think you are, and subtract 2
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:59 PM
7

Yeah and imo opting out of dating is a perfectly valid thing to do. Especially when you’re standards don’t match your own level, it’s logical for both genders in that case or whatever other reason you have
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:56 PM
1

I mean, bouncing up when you can is probably the best option for a lot of guys. other than of course, just improving themselves. At least when your goal is to not be lonely it’s effective if immoral.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:51 PM
0

This is assuming it’s normal for a 3 to match with another 3 every time. I’d say men should shoot for at least 1-2 points below themselves. If you’re actually a 3 and don’t plan on improving any time soon, your options are the 1s, nothing, or the gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:50 PM
11

Yes, but if you’re that unattractive then that’s where you’re options are. Then you either have to improve yourself, settle, or opt out
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:48 PM
29

But then why would a guy of that level expect that from others?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:46 PM
2

But if they actually did, subs like this would be pointless because the discrepancy in dating success wouldn’t exist. Clearly there’s still some issue in how guys appraise themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:41 PM
1

Is this not everyone though? We all have what we’ll settle for but I assume everyone’s actual ideal is some level of super model. We just all know we can’t have that so we choose what’s an acceptable level of settling.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:35 PM
7

Maybe, but at least at that point theres a choice. You have options you’re just opting out
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:33 PM
2

I’m sure there are exceptions, probably a lot. But I can also say that for a lot of guys there’s a lot of pressure there. some people can totally ignore bullying and or peer pressure and it doesn’t bother them. It also depends on the groups your in, some very religious groups or something similar might not be like that. Also, at least from what I’ve heard, this is a pretty uniquely guy thing for the most part. We talk about this stuff a lotttt in private.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:16 PM

Honestly same thing with my personal relationships. Maybe it’s superstition, but it’s never not been way easier with people who haven’t been around.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 12:58 PM
2

Well for a lot of guys it probably is just a sex thing. The horni is a powerful thing. I can become the primary goal of a lot of guys in their day to day life, heck it was pretty much mine as a kid until my first time. It’s also a huge status thing among other guys, if you hadn’t done it past the age of about 14 -16you start lying and saying you did or good luck not getting picked on for it. I imagine for guys who never actually got that genuine first time it would be pretty embarrassing as a te…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 12:57 PM
2

Really? Huh, I mean to each their own but would that not imply she’s probably good for a long term relationship? The way I see it if someone hooks up a ton they likely aren’t someone who can actually keep a relationship long term, plus sex probably isn’t something that will be any kind of special with them. What’s the logic here?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 01:42 AM
12

I think there’s a place between calling women sluts and also caring about body count. I’d prefer someone with a lower count as imo someone who’s been with many partners and failed is a pretty obvious red flag, but that’s just me. I also make a point not to sleep around casually, just with long term relationships because I’d just be a hypocrite otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/23 06:52 PM
1

To be absolutely honest, I probably just wouldn’t be friends with a girl I’m not at least kinda interested in, unless it’s like a coworker that I’ll be seeing daily. Hence why now when I’m in a relationship I just don’t have female friends
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 04:10 PM
1

First up, I’m not sure where you get the idea that normal or short guys do well? Some do sure, but most don’t, that’s kinda the whole reason this sub exists, is figuring out exactly why the majority of men are single and what the best thing to do about it is. Like the good ol 63% of men being single statistic, those are your mediocre short guys for the most part. They just don’t do well unless they get lucky or find someone even less attractive than they are. Also I’m sorry but if being attracte…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 04:09 PM
1

Yeah no. For the vast majority of guys we don’t even make friends with girls for purely platonic reasons. Even if it’s not immediate the potential is in the back of our minds.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 08:22 AM
2

In my experience, as someone who has been pretty successful in dating so far, appearance seems to trump most everything. People are just nicer to you when you look good and take care of yourself. I like to think I’m a kind person, but I can tell it wouldn’t really matter if I wasn’t because usually just being tall and decently maintained is enough to get attention from girls without actually speaking to them. For me I haven’t been single in going on 9 years, but I’ve also never asked out a girl …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 08:11 AM
1

In my experience I’m not sure this is a man to woman thing, as much as it is human to human. I’ve seen this behavior both ways and even in non romantic settings. People just don’t like unaesthetic people nearly as much. Of course it’s no excuse to treat people poorly, but generally speaking that’s how most everyone’s brains work by default and you have to make the decision to ignore bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 01:59 AM

No, because they don’t ignore me because I have a decent job and I go to the gym regularly. I’m a pretty normal dude and I’ve never had trouble dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 03:50 PM
2

Well from the red pill I’d say that taking a path of healthy masculinity will be the most effective way to increase your success in dating. Getting in shape, making some money, and being confident obviously are huge. But a lot of it turns into this weird us vs them mentality that leads guys to treat women poorly, which unless you are actually a mid-range millionaire is more than most will put up with regardless of looks. So just take the being respectful towards women and monogamy of blue pill I…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 03:13 PM

As someone who went gym, can confirm this is just false.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 02:43 PM

I take the best parts of each ideology and throw out the toxic or useless parts. I imagine that’s where most people fall actually although I’m not 100% sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 07:40 PM
2

This might be the first in recorded history nice job us! 👏🏼
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 11:15 PM
2

A perfectly reasonable take wont lie, I just think that motherhood/fatherhood (although probably more so the former) specifically should be seen as more valuable than it is. Like it’s more valuable to society than the vast majority of professions but isn’t rewarded a tenth as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 11:08 PM
0

Yes but Is that even close to enough to cover for a persons lack of income in a household?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 10:24 PM
1

Not entirely sure. I’d say imo spending in other areas should be cut or more competently distributed to make space for things like this (cough military cough) but if you want people to actually take care of their kids and not force all mothers to also work full time you have to reward the behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 09:05 PM
0

I’d say yes, just because it’s the most important thing a human can realistically do in their life and it’s totally devalued by society in the case of raising children.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 08:42 PM
2

I think it’s just that it’s a market being utilized where it wasn’t before due entirely to stigma. It’s not really promoting being unhealthy, it’s promoting clothing lines for people who are, and I’m honestly surprised it’s taken this long for people to monetize it in America.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/23 04:09 PM

I mean to be fair, most women wouldn’t be with either
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 09:19 PM

Ah probably a 90% increase in spousal abuse lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 08:21 PM
1

Really everything is a bunch of atoms at the end of the day. Nothing is anything but everything
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 08:16 PM
1

Kinda, not so much the dating strategy but the idea that you kinda need to be confident, which I think for most people requires some degree of self improvement. Being a fully self actualized person who is in shape and genuinely happy will always attract people no matter what else.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 06:23 PM

Fair, but all my girlfriends barring one have been athletes, in those circles my height is actually pretty average.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 06:18 PM
1

By this definition, feelings also don’t exist, nor do emotions. They’re biological responses if you really dig into it. Happiness is just dopamine. Ofc this is bs, any human who has ever been happy knows innately that it’s real, same with sadness, and love.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 03:37 PM

Pretty average sized town in NC. Definitely not a trashy place to live, but I travel to cities for work and I get what you mean. I feel distinctly more average when I’m in Cincinnati 😂 but also somehow better about myself compared to some of the things that live there
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 03:34 PM
2

Yeah but like my mannerisms can be totally opposite and I can find exactly the same success rate. Ofc if you’re just mean or rude that’s another deal, I’d call that social incompetence. But it’s always been obvious within about the first 20 seconds of meeting someone if we’re going to date or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 07:53 PM
1

Not sure I would call myself an alpha or anything like that. I’m probably above average overall but I’m no model or anything. I can just usually tell when someone has chemistry with me, and I can tell they kinda feel the same. Never been able to get a date with someone I didn’t have that with, but I’ve also never flopped when that spark was there.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 07:51 PM
0

Idk if I’d say that. That initial spark/chemistry can’t really happen with someone I can’t vibe with. But I can usually gage if someone would be a natural fit before I actually speak with them. Body language is a huge thing imo
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 07:34 PM
1

In my experience you usually know if that spark is there either at the first social contact, like one or two sentences max, or before you every actually speak to them. Usually at eye contact.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 07:29 PM
3

I mean to a point it matters, but can’t you just kinda tell if something is gonna go further on the first few words you speak with them? Like it’s just that spark. I’ve never had anything go badly after that, but never had anything go well in its absence
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 05:41 PM
1

Oh yeah 100%. That’s mostly what I mean when I say socially incompetent. If you can’t have basic human respect you should be lonely lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 05:23 PM
3

Oh yeah certainly. I’ve ended relationships because of differences in preference. But I mean more so does it matter when it comes to actually getting together with people and starting relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 05:21 PM
2

Huh really? I get walking out on rude people, but to me that also kinda counts as extremely socially incompetent. I’ve just never had a spark not go off in the first sentence or earlier or not at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 05:09 PM

A: spark. Like you said, it’s either there or it’s not. You cant make it happen regardless of how you act, and it’s decided before you actually say anything. B: it’s actually extremely easy after that point and dating advice doesn’t really apply, at least in my experience. I’ve never dated anyone less than a year, I haven’t been single more than a few weeks in almost 9 years now, and I’ve talked to every girl I’ve been with wildly different. Once that little spark just clicked it really didn’t m…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 02:22 PM
2

That is just false. At best you don’t think of people often in the honeymoon phase. But unless you’ve never had another partner you’ll think of them again from time to time
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 03:30 PM
1

Nah this is honestly just not true. Went to the gym for not even a year and the amount of attention I got easily doubles started dressing decently and the same happened. It’s really not that hard, I’m pretty convinced a lot of guys are just incompetent
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 02:48 PM
1

Well duh, I never said anything about anyone not wanting to be with anyone. You can want to be with someone and still compare them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 01:13 PM
1

In my experience no matter how loyal or good natured someone is towards their partner, most everyone will if not intentionally, then subconsciously compare their current partner to their former ones. Not in a malicious or premeditated way, but in the way that when you have a really good meal at a nice restaurant, the other ones you’ve enjoyed come to mind yknow? And that’s the best case, most people I know actually compare their exes with current partners socially.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 01:20 AM
1

Depends on the exact circumstances, but generally the latter. Idc how many relationships you’ve had, I care about how much emotionally you have to give to our relationship and how many guys I’m now stuck competing with potentially forever. Ofc some goes if the genders are reversed if anyone is typing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 11:55 PM
2

I have a gf of 4 years, I don’t really need to.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:21 PM
1

Your physical and mental peak as a guy is between 24-29, I wouldn’t waste that. Not to mention you have no idea what opportunities could pass you up in the mean time. Don’t limit yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 03:01 PM
2

But, I mean is he really? I’m pretty sure I recall him mostly just telling incels to make their bed and have some small amount of discipline. I can’t recall any kind of hate that he’s put out towards any group unless it’s been very recent and I just missed it.I know he specifically said that it was their own fault that women didn’t choose them, which I think is just true.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:40 AM
4

Well I kinda put this comment as a critique of the og post. It only applies if your in that kind of optimized partner mindset and totally disregard personal taste and actually loving someone. It honestly makes 0 sense to me, as I’ve never just analyzed everyone I know to pick out which ones have the most ideal traits, I just know when I meet someone if I want to pursue them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 06:54 PM
2

But take pride in that man! That’s inspiring stuff to hear ngl. You’re on the path but remember it’s your path, don’t compare it to some arbitrary metrics or whatever you consider average.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 06:13 PM
1

Noo i meant you, specifically as an individual not men as a whole. And are these things that can possibly be improved with discipline and hard work? I vehemently believe that is the key to essentially all mens issues is just working hard to improve your life in all areas. I think that is probably the most fulfilling journey a guy can be on and you absolutely will find more success with women when your top priority is self betterment.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 05:55 PM
1

In what areas are you behind? I’m a firm believer that even the worst hand can be made to above average. It might be harder, and for you it might not even be worth it. But your life is yours and with enough will and discipline I promise as another guy who was diagnosed with Asperger’s at one point, formerly an obese slob, you can always change your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 05:45 PM

Not talking about feminism, just stereotypes surrounding feminists and comparing it to other stereotypes that are fueled by terrible people that bring down any attempts to help people.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 05:17 PM
1

In fairness, you are on Reddit. I’m not even particularly blue pulled or red pulled I think the correct way to date is somewhere in between but Reddit as a community has always been more right leaning.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:59 PM

I dislike that my only solution would be to have them date other people on the spectrum. Maybe a specialized dating app or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:52 PM
1

I haven’t been, although I did just upvote them when I read this. But does that not also sound kinda biased? It’s not a rare stereotype at all. And I’m not even claiming it’s true, it absolutely isn’t and it’s a biased claim to say that it is, but I’d argue the reverse is true. Yeah sure there’s likely some bad blood towards women in the incel community mostly based on negative experiences that have given them some misconceptions on the gender as a whole, but I’d say the exact same is true of fe…

Kinda goes against the main issue of incels to be hot and famous. If you are you don’t have issues with women, so no reason to be one. And yeah, feminists are known to be men haters by people who aren’t feminists. That and obesity are the main calling cards, I know it’s not what’s standard but that’s the stereotype. Some 400lb woman with blue hair yelling kill all men is just the inverse of some lonely 400lb dude with no money and awful hygiene talking about killing women. I guarantee you the va…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:33 PM

Fair enough, yeah I do care about women of low medium high or whatever other value. I want people to be as happy as they can be. Yes there’s a difference to you, but that’s just to you. Objectively the happiness of someone you know is no more or less valuable than anyone’s else’s. I guess my mistake for thinking it was more standard to care about people that it is. but if that’s the case and it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks about anyone whose a stranger, why would you care about the expectat…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:25 PM

But do you not think I can find the same for 99% of groups that exist? I remember kill all men as a niche feminist rallying cry for a while there. But ofc I understand that that isn’t a common take and that extremism in any group will lead to awful people
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:11 PM
7

99% sure most incels don’t hate women any more than the average feminist hates men. Most of them are just lonely dudes that probably have poor hygiene or are under 5’10 the same way most feminists are just fat lonely women as well. Ironically now that I say it they’re a pretty good match.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:58 PM
3

So it’s fine to hate a group of people so long as you can find a link between them and some mass killer? So people who actually do hate women are fine because Elizabeth bathory exists? Like pretty much every incel isn’t just some sad lonely dude who works at Home Depot and probably has poor hygiene. Nah they’re all terrorists tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:55 PM
7

Yes, they’re in that hole because of their own fault, but that doesn’t mean that having basic compassion for them is wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:52 PM
5

I mean is that not just basic human decency to care about people? You don’t have to take care of them, but there’s absolutely 0 difference between someone you know and someone you don’t. Caring about someone and being responsible for them are totally different.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:51 PM
1

I mean is that not generally the gist of it? They’re usually guys who for some reason can’t attract women as much as they’d like
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:38 PM
37

Fair enough, but the reverse should also apply. You are up against every other woman this hypothetical incredible guy can get, why exactly are you better than every single one of them?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:33 PM
7

Yes, kinda proof women also don’t care about low value guys as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:31 PM
1

Depends on how much smarter. In the question of 140 to 110, that sounds like a difficult dynamic to keep up, but it also depends on the specific people in the relationship. I can’t possibly imagine someone who is legally a genius and someone who is just above average having a normal relationship regardless of gender, although I’m sure it would make it a little more rough for the man being the one coming up short. Imagine someone with an iq of 100 dating someone with an iq of 65 for instance. The…
