I get checked out by them but 25 is about the youngest I’ll go for. And I do fine with them. Haven’t gone for younger than that in awhile

Yeah you just have to figure out what works for you. Average guy means you aren’t repulsive or scary looking, so if you approach you have a shot. Now it just comes down to your talking skills

No man you’ve got it wrong. In a bar, over 80% of the guys aren’t even going to talk to any women. And then a huge portion of those who do are not approaching 10’s because they’re scared. Bars are absolutely the place to be approaching 10’s. You have a way higher chance in a bar than on the street

What do you mean not in a bar?

I wouldn’t say it’s that bad. It’s just trial and error. Every time you fumble, think about what it taught you. You are gaining experience, to the point that you can even think of rejections as wins because at least you gave it a shot and at least you learned something from it and got practice. The more you practice, the less torturous it feels, and the better you get at it. It will only take a handful rejections before it doesn’t hurt your feelings anymore. And then you can really go for it. An…

A lot of the competition is too intimidated to approach 10’s so the door is sort of wide open for you. And 10’s know they’re 10’s, so when you approach them they’re immediately impressed by your confidence

I got more than that lol

Pictures are at least 90% of it. So ask yourself, do you really want your first impression to be limited to a picture, or do want it to be more full and dimensional? Because if you want full and dimensional, you’re going to have to go out and meet women in person. Now they’re judging your appearance based off more metrics than just a picture. Your vibe. Your energy. Your aura. Your presence. The way you move. The way you carry yourself. You know, the things women are actually attracted to physic…

My main goal aside from having fun and finding happiness is getting women. So it’s easy to stay focused on my goals and manage my love life because my love life is my goal

Talk to other women is the key. I know you want other advice but the reality is that you need distractions. If your hobbies and life aren’t distracting enough, other women surely will be. I’ve fallen hard for a couple women and been rejected, and it’s amazing how fast I can pull myself out just from flirting with and hooking up with other women. Create distractions!

I just flirt with em for free drinks but I’ve never gone beyond that. I have a scar on my hand after falling down in the middle of the street because I managed to get a bartender to make me a free triple margarita that I probably didn’t need

I see a lot on cold approaching in here. I mean heck, we have that guy posting daily with his absolutely ridiculous thing asking women if they think his hair should be long or short lol
/r/seduction24/07/26 02:17 PM

The bartender was right. Walk tall with chest out and it does wonders. It makes you look more confident and honestly you feel more confident too just walking this way. And here’s a hack that can help you facilitate walking this way. Do a bunch of pushups before you go out. It literally makes you feel more buff and then your chest and arms are full of lactic acid so they look a little bigger. I honestly recommend always doing this before you leave this house. And yes, eye contact should be intens…

The only therapist I ever had was completely androgynous. I had this therapist before it became common for people to talk about their preferred pronouns, like I didn’t even know preferred pronouns were a concept at the time, but even at the time I never felt comfortable calling them a he or a she. They never told me what they preferred, I know they were originally female, but I never felt right saying “she” because I thought they might be transitioning or something. The point being, I was not at…

A lot of people in my area are in tech and they do seem to really care about people having a perfectly curated “social” profile. But because of this people are sometimes pretty intrigued when you tell them you’re off grid, abstain from social media or only use “anti-social media” like Reddit

Eh I pick up chicks in person that I know for a fact would swipe left on my dating profiles. There are things you can do in person to create attraction that you can’t over a dating app

Most of them have headphones in and are looking at the ground? Idk about that…. I get enthusiasm for talking to women because I gain enthusiasm from talking to women. I enjoy talking with women and find it fun. They are interesting and I often find myself liking the way they think. If you enjoy the art of conversation, like talking to strangers, find talking to women enjoyable, and are a bit horny, then the really the only logical procession from there is to go out and talk some game

Yes. Once I started taking care of myself and being healthier, I started getting WAY more attention from women. It’s night and day. You’re still gonna need personality and charm to take things further though

My dogs are kind of vicious so it doesn’t work out too well. They do attract women and the ladies usually like my joke about one of the dogs being mean, but it’s hard to actually stand there and focus on game when I’m worried my dog will bite someone or someone’s dog lol

It takes time but it’s very possible, especially the younger you are when your brain is more elastic, to over time gaslight yourself into thinking you’re fucking awesome

100%. Going faster than her actually sets you up for failure. At first I would get over eager and too excited and do too much talking, and even found myself interrupting at times. Then I started figuring out how to stay back, keep the ball in her court, and only really interject when appropriate. I realized it in real time when I was chatting this chick up at a club. She was blabbing away at me and instead of letting her finish, I cut in and asked her if she had been to this place before. That’s…

I think guys have to break free from thinking “lines” are good. Lines are unnatural and make you look unnatural. If you do have a line, it needs to feel like you came up with it on the spot. Searching for the “perfect line” is a fool’s errand. Come up with a line on the spot based on your surroundings. Definitely have some stuff in the queue, like questions to ask, if there is a temporary stall or pause in the conversation, but overthinking lines and the approach itself is where so many guys in …

Side note, what does your profile look like that you’re getting 30 matches a week? I live in a large city and can go to a bar and fairly easily get a one night stand, but I can barely get a match on online dating to save my life. I average about one match a month

I call it “trading up”. I actually do have one of those distance ones. That’s probably my backup plan lol. Not super interested in it though

You need to work out your conversational muscle. Get out of your head and just talk to strangers. Take uber rides and talk to the driver. Try to chat with colleagues at work. Get good at chatting. Get comfortable talking to random strangers. Flex that muscle and eventually you will be kicking ass in the situations you’ve described above
/r/seduction09/07/26 12:28 AM

Yeah I ran into this in a relationship. The woman I had been with before was in charge and 90% of the time we did what she wanted to do. I could still get my way when I wanted, but generally I preferred to just let her call the shots and was fine with that. So then in my next relationship I’m sort of expecting the same thing, but this woman wanted me to call the shots. I would tell her we’ll do whatever she wants and she didn’t like it and would get annoyed with me
/r/seduction03/07/26 07:52 PM

I personally think you guys should give it another go and see how it plays out. Recognize your mistakes from before and try to do better
/r/seduction03/07/26 05:37 PM
3

This is how I do my approach lol. I find an observation about the setting we’re in and come up with some sort of little Seinfeld-esque bit about it and I just start talking to a woman about it with no introduction. They are receptive more than not
/r/seduction03/07/26 02:18 PM

Keep your head up. A lot of women like guys in their thirties. I turned 30 in September and for whatever reason it’s like a switch flipped when that happened. I started getting a ton of attention from women
/r/seduction02/07/26 11:09 PM
1

You’re going to have to figure most of this out just by trial and error. I think you will start to find that the approach itself is not as difficult as actually keeping things going in the right direction once you’ve made the approach. That’s where practice comes in. You’re going to have to just spark up conversations with random women and learn how to steer those conversations in the direction you want. That will take time and practice. I’ve found for the approach itself, especially in bars, th…

Im in a similar position, only having recently started “playing the game” again at 30. Here’s the reality, these women see you as a boy, and you need to figure out how to make them see you as man. And you will be able to do this because you’re getting practice. This is all about trial and error. But you need to escalate. It doesn’t sound like you’re doing that. You have a window to escalate, and if you don’t do it, they won’t see you as capable of a hookup. You have to make the conversation sexu…

I have to take a lot of Ubers and lyft’s for work and I always chat with the driver (unless they don’t speak English). My game has gotten so much better because of this. You have to flex the conversational muscle whenever possible so that when you end up talking to a woman you’re ready
/r/seduction30/06/26 04:12 PM

It’s not logical to just give up like that. And then other women who see you don’t that will view you as weak and not confident

/r/seduction28/06/26 04:19 PM

Ah yeah I’ve found this too. Not so much the pulling teeth aspect but just the fact that women who are super attracted will keep it going faster and easier. Unless they’re so attracted they’re nervous. Sometimes people’s minds just go blank when they’re super attracted, which still happens to me sometimes. But the pulling teeth thing is pretty rare for me. But I’ve had a couple situations where it begins receptive and then somehow I botch it and then it becomes a little more like pulling teeth

Yes. When you go to these environments often you start to be able to identify which women are open to a hookup and which aren’t. And then you’re already halfway there when you go to talk to one. Identify Approach Keep the convo going, escalate correctly, make your intentions known and show interest. Step three is hardest part. You can still be a great conversationalist but have your mind go blank, and once there’s an awkward silence that you don’t quickly recover, it’s a turn off. Furthermore if…

Don’t have lines. Just find some quirky observations about your surroundings and just playfully start talking about them to a woman that’s near you. This always works for me to get a conversation started. Make sure to smile! I even had 2 women cut in front of me at a bar once and I teased them about it and ended up getting a hookup out of it. The approach isn’t even the hard part dude, it’s keeping things going and escalating it in the correct way. Not too fast or slow. And that just takes pract…

All you need to know is your own personal success rate. Not that of others. What’s your personal benchmark? Now look at where you’ve made mistakes and improve it. It has nothing to do with other guys. Only you and the women you talk to

30m, live with my dad. Mild success but I only started playing the game a few months ago. He went out of town for a week and my goal was to bring a woman home while he was gone. Got close with one, ended up having a one night stand with another the next night. But if he’s home I’m taking them to a hotel

“Game is not performed over text”. I love this and agree so much. The only game you should be doing over text is trying to limit the amount of texting in favor of other forms of communication
/r/seduction25/06/26 02:06 PM

Just start talking about an observation you have about something in your vicinity or ask a question. Approach similarly to how you would talk to any random stranger

/r/seduction24/06/26 04:14 PM

In person lets you know whether or not you really like someone in a way that texting just can’t. And there are conversations that need to be had in person, not over text. I think if you’re serious about someone you should at minimum make time for FaceTiming each other

Yeah what I’ve found is that it’s better to just start talking than to get all muddled up in “how do I approach” “should I walk up and introduce myself” blah blah blah. Just find an observation you have about the vicinity you’re in and just go up and start talking about it. You’ll know fast if they’re receptive
/r/seduction16/06/26 03:40 PM
17

Just smile or chuckle. You don’t have to actually say anything
/r/seduction16/06/26 03:37 PM

The ones that are standing closest to me. I mean, I do have to think they’re hot though. But if you’re within speaking distance and attractive to me, there’s a strong chance I’m going to just start talking to you
/r/seduction16/06/26 04:21 AM
1

If they had a husband yeah probably. But I do have a work wife and she doesn’t say she has a boyfriend, she just says she’s “dating somebody”, and I don’t think he would like the flirty texts she sends me. I’m not cutting that one off even if she is fucking someone else rn, because I think ultimately I can win this battle

You’re just gonna have to practice doing it. I think if you can just keep a smile on your face then some of it will come naturally
/r/seduction09/06/26 03:47 PM

K so what are they lol. I mean one thing I’ve been able to do is figure out how to identify which chicks are looking for a hookup and then you’re already halfway there when you start talking to them
/r/seduction08/06/26 08:52 PM

Tbh this is good. You have an opportunity here to really build some tension. You can get her where she’s begging for you to kiss her, and it’s probably gonna start with you kissing her neck

/r/seduction06/06/26 04:26 PM

Yeah but don’t walk up with a corny pickup line. Just start talking to them about some observation you have about the vicinity you guys are both in. Just start talking like you would with any stranger. Then introduce yourself if they seem receptive
/r/seduction06/06/26 12:37 AM

You might have better odds in another country because you’re a foreign novelty. It might skew the process for you a bit. I recommend doing it where you live now

/r/seduction05/06/26 02:28 PM

I think you should. Dating apps are becoming the only option for some people. It’s time to open things back up. And those of us who actually do talk to women in person are at a huge advantage right now because so few guys are doing it

Yeah I’d try it. There are many ways to speak this language though. There are definitely some constants though

First off, don’t walk up and introduce yourself. Just start talking about something that’s happening around you. Make a funny observation. Smile. And conversation will develop. If you’re conversing back and forth smoothly and there aren’t awkward pauses, then you tell her something about how you like how she looks. You can also say she has a beautiful smile after you see it for the first time. One thing that worked for me once with a woman that seemed really cold at first was once I made her lau…

I’ve always been good at talking to women I’m not interested in, but then went through years of not playing the game due to a bunch of fucked life shit and clinical depression. Yes. Music events like this are imo one of the easiest places. Theres usually still alcohol involved, which helps your chances, and you are starting from a common interest, music. Just start talking to women about the music and you’ll be in a good conversation. And since you’re in a good conversation, you have a place to build from. Ask if she wants to go see “____” with you. If they take your sunglasses you smile and make some cute/teasy comment about “hey give those back you thief!” or something like that. Then see where it goes from there. Since you’re on a dance floor you’re going to have to get really close to her for her to hear you which is good. You can say things into her ear. Ask if she wants to dance. Or ask if she wants to chat somewhere more quiet. If they just start dancing with you that’s even easier, you just start dancing back with them and see where…

You talked to more women than most of the guys in that nightclub did. Consider it a victory. No approach is a total loss. You are gaining experience and knowledge. This is all about trial and error, and the more you do it, the more comfortable you get doing it and easier it gets.

Hell yeah brother. It’s all about baby steps. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Just keep getting more comfortable out there and you will start making moves
/r/seduction17/05/26 07:33 PM

It’s all about trial and error. You just got 5 times better at this than you were the night before! Continue until you succeed! You will succeed! Try different ways of approaching. Or don’t even think of it as approaching as much as just striking up a conversation with a stranger the way you would with any stranger in public
/r/seduction17/05/26 01:11 PM
1

At surface level you may not be “exciting”, but you could still be exciting to the right woman. If she’s looking for someone stable whose place she can go to frequently and all of that is new for her, then being with you will be exciting for her, at least for awhile
/r/seduction15/05/26 04:03 PM

It’s better to figure it out through trial and error and create your own method than to follow someone else’s. Then you’re doing it naturally instead of following some prescribed system (that women have probably heard before btw)

Yeah I turned 30 and started approaching after years of not even trying. It’s been about 7 months. I’ve had some success, but still figuring out the system. Approaching isn’t really the hard part as much as it’s directing the conversation in a way that gets me what I’m looking for and suggests to the woman that I know what I’m doing. I’m definitely making up for years worth of lost experience but I’m attractive enough that I’m well received. I think one of my biggest takeaways has been that if y…

Just keep doing it. It’s a numbers game. You will get more success when you get more comfortable with it. If you approach nervously like an introverted socially anxious person generally would, then you’re more likely to be told no

I don’t use instagram and never have. I never liked it there. It can make things trickier occasionally. Some young people, especially in the SF Bay Area where I live, are freaked out by people who aren’t super active on social media, especially instagram. But for the most part it doesn’t really matter. It will be a read flag to a certain type of woman, but I think overall it really doesn’t matter. I’m not a fan of letting people make snap judgments about me based on some shallow, superficial soc…

You don’t even have to have good moves, all you have to have is good rhythm. If you just dance at a show and have good rhythm, women start hanging around you

Either way you’re flexing the conversational muscle with strangers. It helps

Correct. She should match or exceed your energy. This woman was not interested. You read the signs correctly. You probably should have asked for the number anyway but she was clearly not digging it

You need to keep approaching more women. Don’t go to the gym or focus on work as if you just went through a breakup. Those aren’t the right distraction for this. This was a minor screwup, not the end of the world. Talk to more women to put some separation between you and this one. Don’t act like you have a broken heart. If you met someone you liked that much after just a few days of approaching, then there will be more

Exactly. I think the trick to a “cold approach” is to just start talking to someone naturally. You don’t need to walk up and introduce yourself first thing, just start talking like you would with any stranger in public

Exactly. Unless you end up dancing with a random chick on the dance floor and then talking to her after, an environment that loud is not good for this. Same reason why a concert is a terrible first date. You need a place where you can talk

The Boomhauer method. It definitely works. Cast a wide net

Yeah I finally learned this one. You need to tell them they’re hot sooner than later in the conversation. If you do it too late it kind of makes you look like you don’t know what you’re doing, (and if you don’t know what you’re doing, is a one night stand with you going to be worth it for her?). It can even be a situation where there is clear attraction on both sides and it’s obvious to the woman what you’re getting at, but if you don’t give the compliment soon enough, the tension doesn’t escala…

For the final paragraph, do you have a process or system for “looking for wings”? I don’t need a wingman but it is nice to not always be solo all the time. Just by being in a group it can sort of increase the net if everyone has the same goal in mind

Yeah except they’re only your friends for that night and then when the alcohol wears off they never talk to you again

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
