Hopefully your dad discussed this with his lawyer, and didn't try to use an online will or a homemade one. That's the best way to make sure whatever needs to be done has been done for whatever state you're in. It's also helpful if your dad tells your sisters that he wants you to handle the estate and to not hassle you about it - then if he's gone, you can say "Dad wanted X" versus "I want X", and you can frame disagreement as dishonoring your dad's last wishes, which carries a lot more emotional…

Nice try - but that trick hasn't worked since at least 1954. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/7872 This is a longer explanation: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/how-to-lend-money-to-a-relative-without-getting-whacked-by-the-irs-2015-05-12

Drawing and writing are creative - meditation is learning to control your own mind. Video games can have some positive attributes - but most people use them more like TV or masturbation. The point is to be fucking awesome. Being fucking awesome attracts girls. If you want to play video games, great, but do it after you have solid achievements in more important parts of your life - physical fitness, mental performance, career advancement, cultural appreciation.

I listened to a computer legal/security podcast yesterday by Stewart Baker, former general counsel (head attorney) for the NSA - he made a comment that I think is 100% right on, that in cybersecurity (please excuse the buzzword), the only people who know what the fuck they're doing are self-taught. The people who collect certifications know nothing. If you love IT and security, fucking make it happen. Forget about games, forget about friends who don't love IT and security, and start doing some s…

Do you actually want to work in IT? Either because you find it inherently interesting, or because you believe it will get you something you really, really want? What you describe sounds like a job you're just doing so you can have a job, which isn't likely to have you chomping at the bit to learn more about it on nights/weekends. Is there something that you love doing (other than sex and video games) so much that you think about it at other times? Do you want to be the world's best taxi driver o…

If she really wanted to be published, she'd have pretended to be Asian: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/yi-fen-chou-white-author-uses-asian-pen-name-because-it-helps-him-get-published-more-often-10490578.html

As a kid I was the most kind, thoughtful boy. What happened? It's easy for children to be kind and thoughtful because they have no responsibilities and they're taken care of/protected by others. As an adult, your priorities are necessarily different. Sentimentality is an emotional indulgence best avoided. As long as you idealize things/emotions/people, you will have painful experiences watching those things fall short of what you wished for. If you accept that everyone and everything is flawed, …

Was married for 14 years. Got divorced. Never hit my wife, even though she made me super mad at times. Dude, buy a calendar. This is 2016. What you might've gotten away with in 1956 isn't going to fly now. If you're convicted of domestic violence you'll lose the right to own a gun for the rest of your life - and it will irreparably fuck you up in any custody/support battle, as well as get you kicked out of your own house, so you'll end up paying for 2 households (hers and yours) while you're hav…

I'm not sure I'd call "I was married for 2 years, divorced 7 months ago. . . discovered my ex wife was an ASPD psychopathic hooker of 15 years, and has been rampantly cheating for 20+ on 'every boyfriend I've ever had'" a successful private marriage. Seems like the marriage failed, probably inevitably because of the wife's character. It wasn't a catastrophic failure (probably because of the "private" arrangement) but it sure doesn't sound like a success, either.

They may or may not be able to identify the semen as his (depending on if it's degraded in storage); they will not be able to say when the sample was provided. The fact that they were in a relationship for years provides a perfectly reasonable explanation for why his semen would be in some of her clothing. If he claimed he didn't know who she was, and she said she'd never had consensual sex with him, his semen in her underwear would be a big problem. But where they've probably had sex hundreds o…

Dude, lawyer, now. If you have a 400K+ income and a cheating wife, your divorce game needs to be perfect. You can find plates to fuck once you protect your assets and your future income.

We can't have an argument unless we agree on the basic facts and values. We don't have that agreement, and I'm not going to waste my time trying to talk to out of your rationalizations and excuses.

If there were no women at all, our species wouldn't exist. Have you not yet had the "Where do babies come from?" talk with your parents?

If there were no women, men wouldn't be bad to each other. LOL. Clearly you've never spent any time in an all-male environment.

Actually, no, getting caught up in what women want is a rookie mistake. The way to succeed with women is, in large part, by not giving a shit about what they want - especially not what they say they want. But, yeah, keep fantasizing about an alternate reality where women are really turned on by videogame skills... hope that works out for you.

Physical sports, even if you're not destined for a professional sports career, help you with fitness, social integration, and moral development. Video games give you really awesome hand-eye coordination, granted. So if we're ever attacked by space aliens and we need someone to fly the space drones, it's good to know we've got you to fall back on.

Aww, poor baby. Did your little feelings get hurt by the mean words? Go look at porn and find some Pokemons and everything will feel better.

This would be ever more convincinghilarious if you could write just a little more pompously. We're not just going to judge you for playing games instead of earning money or learning things and skills that are useful in the real world - we're going to laugh at you, and make you wash our cars and mow our lawns and make money for us while we're sleeping or on vacation. Your real life has already started.

One man who's trying to help another man get tougher, or to remember his masculine strength, is likely to use a mix of teasing/put-downs and encouragement. We are not girls. A man who offers to sit and cry with you and talk about how scary and mean the girls are (and why it's easier to just fap and play Xbox) is not helping you.

It's good that you're not 40, this shit just gets tougher the longer you wait. I have some idea what achievements are because I've got some familiarity with history and culture and I'm a couple of decades older than you are. Your peers are giving you very good advice: walk away from the video game, get comfortable with girls, develop yourself socially and physically. The behaviors you're interpreting as harassment are actually what support and guidance look like from masculine men.

Is that a long way of telling us you're a 40 year old virgin? Sex isn't the most important thing - but the transition from boy to man involves moving away from juvenile pastimes like video games and masturbation, and juvenile fears like "girls are scary!", to real adventures and real achievements. Achievement and fulfilling one's life purpose are more important than sex; but learning to get over rejection by 16 year old girls is a crucial step for the things that come next. As is earning the res…

If someone acts like a whiny bitch, they shouldn't be mad if they get treated like a whiny bitch.

This is an important point - no wonder dude feels like shit, if he's watching a kid all day while his wife works. You're learning the dirty secret of political correctness - yeah, if men and women are equal in every way, there's no reason why men shouldn't do child care and women shouldn't work. But men and women aren't equal, and while that arrangement might sound awesome in theory, in the real world, it's going to feel like shit for everyone involved. The sex will be shitty, the relationship w…

See if you can get him to read/work through Athol Kay's stuff with you. https://www.amazon.com/Married-Man-Life-Primer-2011-ebook/dp/B004W0IRQ8/ David Deida's work may be too abstract for him; but it might be helpful to one of you in dealing with male/female polarity issues.

Neither the characters in this tale have seen how quickly I can switch from smiling good-mannered blue pill guy to raging tirade when a couple of lines get crossed. Why would you ever want to be "blue pill guy" or "raging tirade" guy? Both of those are shitty, weak ways to present yourself. You need to read 48 Laws of Power, stat.

Lots of people are happy - or learn to settle for - a pretty boring life. Do know how often your grandparents have sex? How often your parents have sex? Is that really what all of them want, or just what they've learned to accept as inevitable?

Would you let me kick you in the nuts 3 different times? 3 chances is 2 too many. If someone is a coward or untrustworthy, cut them loose immediately.
