His phrasing is totally appropriate for this sub

Try it! It’s the same idea as flexing etc, but conveys a sense of unconditional love for yourself vs. confidence .. two sides of a similar coin … hug is much more gentle, like you’d hug the kid version of yourself or a puppy

Hugging yourself or smiling at yourself in the mirror looks and might feel silly as fuck, but it actually still causes feel good chemicals to release in your brain. Self love isn’t just about the thoughts in our head, we can start with really basic action too

Damn, I'm pretty attractive
/r/seduction12/02/21 07:48 PM

Yes.... I ended up dating one of these types of women. The chemistry was incredible..we had a ton of fun and great sex. But that doesn't mean she stopped being a bitch, testing me, being super insecure, etc... I eventually got fed up with it and broke it clean off. If I'm reading OP right, I guess I could have tried walking away in a softer way (like "taking a break") instead of a clean break? Because 8 months later I still think about her.

Ok, and first of all you don't know that. Second, do exactly what other people have said, and stop comparing yourself to others... it will drive you crazy. Even if you could fix every single thing wrong with you there would still be someone better. The best overall advice I can give you has been said a million time... find the serenity to accept what you can't change, the courage to change what you can, and the wisdom to know the difference. You cannot change what other guys are like, but you ca…

Stop thinking with your emotions and think logically. Read this post that was posted today: https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/exsum3/if_you_ever_need_a_confidence_boost/ At the end of the day you are in control of your thoughts

Completely ignoring some shit test comments is one strategy. But it sounds like you were already really paying attention to her, so to randomly ignore her the first time she shit tests you just looks bad too. I don't know the whole situation, and it's possible you should have cut your losses before she even shit tested you, but your only way around it at that point sounds like making a joke out of it (i.e. agree and amplify - "yeah I suck at Darts" while also sort of ignoring the fact that she w…

sounds like you weren't matching her energy too well or something (maybe being too into her when there were other people around, too?) the "you don't really do this often do you" is just some shit she's throwing and you caved.. did you just cower at her accusation and go into your head or did you reply "your right, since my last dart-throwing accident I've taken some time off..." or something and keep it playful.

I feel your sentiments so much. It has taken me a long time, but I have a "never give up " attitude now. Regardless of how bad it gets. Personally, this came from me developing faith in myself, and a strong foundation of how I think the world works. Keep looking. Keep trying new things. I found Buddhism (i was not raised religious) and I now frequently think about philosophical concepts that give me so much peace. I have faith in ideas like "oneness" and "basic goodness" that help me understand …

And part of self-love is what u/DrixlRey mentioned above - actually being real with yourself and accepting that you are not currently a confident person... yet!

It could be a few things why you feel that way. Maybe you really don't believe you'd be able to find someone else? Or you don't want o be alone. Maybe you're not sure if her cheating on you actually bothers you? Does it?
/r/seduction20/01/20 08:45 PM

This girl lied to you. Yes, you've forgiven her too many times even if you have to ask yourself that question about cheating. It's a simple question, do you want to continue a relationship with someone that has lied to you and will probably continue to do so?

Essentially, "hey, this conversation will probably be awkward, want to have more awkward conversations sometime over food?"
/r/seduction06/01/20 09:19 PM

You look exactly the same based on these pics. If she reached out after 5 years she's interested. If you don't have a FB pic it's clearly because of more than just your looks. Stop worrying and go for it!

You're frustrated because you're trying so hard but are not seeing results. Maybe that suggests it isn't just about your appearance (duh!) Consider working on your attitude, the way you speak to people, your hobbies, interests, and personality. Regardless of what you look like a man that is as frustrated and pissed off as this post makes you seem will never attract a woman. Learn WHAT to give a fuck about. Learn that sex alone won't make you happy and that having the mindset of wondering when yo…

I agree with u/13ananaMan that this shouldn't be something you try with just anyone. You should have established she actually likes video games. Then answer your question yourself off of that established fact: what tpye of video games does she like? Are there any you think she would like after talking to her? I was having a conversation with a girl I was dating about how she doesn't like guys who play a lot of video games and I agreed but mentioned a few games that I REALLY liked for one reason …

For me it was a realization of not even being able to answer that question. It came when I realized that if I wasn't sure who I wanted to be in the future then I shouldn't be in a relationship with someone I'm also unsure about.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
