I briefly dated one guy who meets this profile. This behavior is a major character flaw (though they never see it that way) because It's a lack of respect for their own time and money, and they often don't even get to see the highlights of that location. This guy flew US to Australia and didn't bother to get a proper visa, so he got kicked out after a few weeks having only seen one city. They fail to meet milestones and fall behind their peers. As another commenter said, it takes time to build a…

Buy yourself the fucking lillies The author's journey to developing self-worth and learning to care for herself after a dysfunctional childhood really resonated with me. PS I loved Why men love bitches 👍👍👍

Hell yes - block, delete, moving on! The only response that could have redeemed him was apologizing for the thoughtless gift and getting you a proper gift.

Posted this for two reasons: 1) It's hilarious. These guys paid about a thousand dollars each to hear an ancient parrot teach them pickup lines. Then they go try them out on women and get rejected 😂 2) The narrator Graham is a good source of financial information. I learned about crypto investing from him, as well as what to do/avoid in real estate. We must be financially-savvy as part of our overall strategy.

Fabulous, thank you for asking. We move into our separate homes in a week; we are currently living like roommates and adhering to a childcare agreement. I now have 12 hours entirely to myself as a result of our formalized childcare agreement. In the last week I finished my book, did a lengthy self-care routine, KonMari-ed my closet, finished my portfolio website, and rediversified my investments. I am growing concerned that soon-be-seperated husband might not survive to our daughter's 18th bday …

Big no to dating right now. I completely understand the desire to move forward with your life while you wait for the divorce to finalize BUT you need to focus on yourself right now - discover new hobbies, further your education, improve your health, or grow your social circle. Also, as someone also in midst of separation, I highly recommend finding a good therapist to understand what went wrong w/ your ex, so you don't repeat your mistakes when you do start dating. The reason to wait to date (at…

Lol! I was in breakingmoms and such, thinking, hey it's not THAT bad. At least he doesn't do XYZ, like some other guys. Honestly, no, I was not happy. I had bad postpartum depression and felt so unloved and unsupported. My stepdad really stepped up to cook, get groceries, take baby and I out b/c my ex did none of that.

Thank you. And, yes it is. I am so proud of myself. I worked hard and made smart financial moves. And it certainly helps that the market has shifted to be more renter-friendly.

No he did not. I tried to "help" him improve by inviting him on hikes/walks, cooking healthy meals, reading out loud to him, listening to podcasts, picking out nicer clothes for him to wear ...🤡🤡

Good Lord what a terrible way to learn the dangers of marrying a LVM! Yes, my pickme mom thought men were like cheese - you gotta mold them and wait on them to mature - that's a post for another day and my stepdad is over there telling me I'm too hard on my husband. Meanwhile all my friends (and ex) were raised by single moms b/c the men were useless. Not worried about him trying to get physical on me. Worth sharing, is that he believes that trait makes him a great husband 🤣

Oh what about us female lurkers who haven't yet shared wisdom b/c we're still busy learning? Maybe we can all introduce ourselves in the first session (to check that only women are in the meeting), then lock the meeting to prevent trolls from accessing it.
