Of course we don’t know all aspects of their relationship, but Stephanie Buttermore and Jeff Nippard on youtube are really sweet together. She recently went “all in” and gained a lot of weight to help fix her disordered eating, and he said he supported her as soon as he heard it would help her.

I saw this comic on wholesomememes yesterday and the comment section was FULL of pickmes saying this was their dream date. Any comments mentioning how damgerous this would be with a stranger, or how low effort it was, was downvoted.

Agreed! They’re definitely doing it on purpose so they can refer back to it if she meets them in person and they look completely different

We don’t need to mollycoddle boys into becoming better. That’s not our problem, it’s theirs.

So he’s unambitious (doesn’t want to better himself), cheap and stingy (owes you money and refuses to pay????), manipulative (testing you?? wtf) and messy? Queen it sounds like you dodged a bullet to me 🤔

Thank you 💓💓I’m glad that you managed to overcome bulimia! It’s so isolating and all-consuming to have an eating disorder that when you begin to escape, you feel so free. It feels great to love myself unconditionally! I love what you said about our only duty being to ourselves! I’ve been writing down reminders/affirmations to help my FDS journey and that’s another great message to remember.

I agree! I have/used to have an eating disorder and FDS has really forced me to make a concerted effort towards recovery. My ed is very image-driven, but FDS helped me realise that I shouldn’t be seeking external validation from others about my appearance; we’re all absolute queens and beautiful for our personalities, our interests, our hobbies, our quirks. Love should come from within - who cares what others think?

There’s nothing sadly and pathetically hilarious than a man who wants/has a sex doll. Imagining him pounding away at a stiff plastic woman because his personality is so repellent even pickmes don’t want him... 🤢

I started bullet journalling a week ago, which helps me track my hobbies and make sure I stick to my self-improvement tasks (weight training, moisturising, studying). I’m so close to having abs and I’m really excited! I’m also working on upholding strong boundaries and no longer being a doormat - another way that FDS has improved my life!

He’s literally so ugly, lazy, unambitious, manipulative and rude like... I’m in shock at the sheer audacity

That makes sense! It reminds me of the comic I saw about the ‘mental load’ and how men supposedly contribute to the housework but really refuse to carry the mental load equally with their partners.

I don’t think it’s trying to “get back” at cheap men - HVM are happy to spoil their partner and provide for them, so they pay for everything/ most things in the relationship. You should read the handbook.

I agree! Sadly my university has more LVW than anything, whereas the previous all-girls school was full of HVW and few pickmes/LVW. I make a lot of effort as well to initiate hangouts and really make it clear to my friends that I value them, but it’s clear from how they treat me that it’s not reciprocated. I think the most valuable lessons I got from FDS were not dating related, but more about the people you associate with in general. It’s more of a shift in mindset than a “strategy” for me pers…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
