This has happened a couple times lately, where I chat with a match on app and maybe a week later when they ask for my #/to meet up BAM they update their profile pic and it looks waaaay less flattering than prior pics.

This most recent guy seems cool, cute etc and was interested in meeting..but now that we developed enough interest to move it out of the app, he put up a new profile pic and he legit looks 5-10 years older than prior pics. His stated age is only 3 years more than me, but he looks much much older than me/my peers. I feel duped haha. Idk it feels like a “switch a roo” even if they didn’t do it intentionally (obvious it wasnt updated for my sake but I do wonder if these guys are doing it as a “fair warning” before meeting).

UPDATE: i will say I do garner male attention physically (tall, thin, exotic darker skin)...asked if I was a model a lot. These guys I are generally not conventionally super attractive but I don’t generally go for that..but then its like damn, maybe I should seek out the lookers bc guys seem to overrepresent..
