It takes a lot of guts to say no to stuff propositions like that. However self respect is key to moving forward in the game and sometimes that means you have to respect yourself to say no.

I’ve been approached by women a couple times. Always found it flattering and encouraging. I would never think a woman (or anyone) is weird for putting themselves out there like that. It’s just a date you’re not doing a marriage proposal so if a guy can’t handle that the right way i wouldn’t worry about it. I think rejection is a healthy feeling to experience and keeps you more thankful

I’m in the same boat and i I had unintended success a few weeks back. Went to a local microbrew not a bar so the atmosphere is more friendly i think. All the tables were full but i sat at the bar and scooted my chair over to one side so that the easiest place to order a drink was next to me. It worked, i made small talk with people as they got drinks eventually one chick saw that i was alone but not a loser so she invited me to her friends table to play board games and we had a good time. Rather than think “how can I appear confident” look at your mood as “how can I not look and be insecure”. I think that is easier to not be insecure than to try and be confident.
