"because wow" wow what? He can't even properly compliment her lmfao. And he really thinks she's just dying to see his dick. Yuck.

"burst into tears" Sure they did! LMFAO

Here we go again with the coded think pieces lmfao. Like the other thread wasn't enough.

Even people here were talking about the ~children~ like do you not know how to explain conflict to your kids? What about Ukraine and its media coverage? And it was late anyway they shouldn’t have been watching TV let alone about an adult awards show LMAO

This. And they're celebrities. Wtf is "speaking to him in private backstage" gonna do after Chris humiliated Jada on live television? Everyone will just think it's a free pass, and most people already do with Black women. Will needed to correct Chris in front of everyone so they know not to mess with them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 05:21 PM

Reposting bc it got removed due to guidelines. Yup. Will was d*mned if he did and d*mned if he didn't. If he reacted, which he did, he's now the "angry and aggressive" Black man with ~superhero strength~ that could somehow "k*ll" Chris LMFAO. If he didn't react though, he's letting another man make fun of his wife (and socially, what does that say about you to other men) and allowing misogynoir to continue within the Black community (which I'm sure people would call him out for).

\\\^ Why the hell is a woman on FDS defending a man and his shitty misogynoir "jokes"??? JFC LMFAO. WW have lost the plot on here. But anything to fit their racist rhetoric I guess.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 04:29 PM

LMAO the amount of WW think-pieces on this is crazy. He is not your father or your ex-partner.

Facts! A Black man slapped another Black man in defence of a Black woman but somehow, you, a WW, are the victim?? Lmfao. Like how the hell is it about you and your trauma now?

I personally don’t think Will’s reaction was violent but 🤷🏼‍♀️ I get the criticism.

Lmao sorry for going off on you though. I honestly thought you were being dense on purpose. Have a good day now 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 09:52 AM

Girl 😩 you could have just said that from the start. But yes I agree. To me abuse is a cycle of violence that’s unjustified. It does often have a power imbalance which is how the abuse continues.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 09:43 AM

Of course you don't care about the wider context of this event. A black man being labelled as abusive and aggressive for defending his black wife doesn't matter, right? Just say you don't care about anti-black racism, because that's the context here. You can infer all you want, just like you're inferring that all violence is abuse and therefore, Will Smith is abusive. And why do you even care about how I define abuse? Is gaining this information going to vastly increase your quality of life? The…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 09:33 AM

Are you being obtuse on purpose? You are overanalyzing my comment and reaching for something to complain and debate about. A man hitting another man once for saying something misogynistic is not abusive to me. I have written a ton of other comments, especially ones detailing the racism embedded in this whole situation and you want to fixate on this. Go read my other comments and maybe you'll learn something. There are far more important things to focus on like the misogynoir that Jada experience…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 09:14 AM

True. Reading WW's obviously coded takes and seeing other WW agreeing with them have been insane lmfao. Time to cleanse myself now and log off.

67

Period!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 08:16 AM

Could not have said it any better. I understand both sides and critiques of how to deal with the situation. I don't think there's an easy and clear cut answer, since all of them are celebrities, it was on live television, and they are all Black. Plus it connects to a deeper issue and history of misogynoir on Chris Rock's part. I also think men (and maybe even the Black community?) have different ways of dealing with things. I don't think it's uncommon for men in general to get physical with each…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 08:14 AM

Also a man slapping another man for saying something misogynistic is abusive now? Lol. Overusing the word abusive to describe non-abusive behaviour makes the word lose meaning.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 07:38 AM

You're projecting. And I never called women who disagree with Will Smith's actions pick me's. I clearly said women who are defending a comedian's "right to joke" without any consequences. Keep reaching.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 07:35 AM

👏👏 People fail to realize that you can't separate race from this. I honestly think that some people are projecting their own trauma and labelling Will as an abuser and violent because he's Black and fitting into the "angry and aggressive Black man" stereotype. I can see how some of his words and actions might be triggering though. But all Will did was slap ANOTHER MAN (not a woman) for disrespecting his wife on live television. Not to mention that all three of them are Black. The issue of intern…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 07:33 AM

Also we've talked on this sub before about how men need to stand up for women, especially their gfs and wives. It's not about women being weak or needing to be defended. It's about men holding other men accountable for their misogyny. We already know men don't respond to words, they respond to ACTIONS. And men (especially someone as low value as Chris Rock) respect other men more than women. Plus, imagine if Jada went up there instead, angry and upset? People, mainly men, would be flaming her fo…

This!! 👏👏 Male comedians and pick me’s are just defending ~tHeIr RiGhT~ to make fun of women’s insecurities (which are caused by society) and not receive consequences for it lmfao. Hard pill to swallow but being a comedian doesn’t automatically absolve you of consequences. And yeah sometimes that means getting hit for talking shit 🤷🏼‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 06:29 AM

Literally. A Black man held another Black man accountable for misogynoir against his Black wife. I think that’s important to note. Definitely better than sitting there and doing nothing tbh.

And here comes the downvotes for disagreeing 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 05:50 AM

Exactly. But here come's the holier than thou people. Like what would you do if that was you or your partner's insecurity as the butt of the joke? lol. Honestly, I'm glad Will Smith did something 🤷🏼‍♀️ Comedians get away with way too much under the guise of ~cOmEDy~
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 05:36 AM

Agreed. I think people are blowing this a little out of proportion (which I can understand because they're celebrities and it was live broadcasted to everyone so obviously there's consequences to that) but I don't think it's that deep lol. And I definitely think anti-black racism is playing a role in people's over-reaction too. Judd Apatow who's worked with James Franco (known for his violence against women) said in his now-deleted tweet that "Will could have killed Chris" and what happened was …

Ignore him as much as you can and pretend he doesn't exist Don't have any more friendly or personal conversations with him Remind yourself that you do not know him. Any man can pretend to be HV. They do it all the time. Read some of the personal stories with doctors on here lol. From what I've read, a lot of them are cheaters and playboys Remind yourself that if he was interested, he would have already made a move on you. But he didn't. He's just not that into you. Why do men always feel the need to mansplain women's dating experiences? 🙄 I feel like I just listened to a whole lot of nothing. But I would argue that it doesn't matter how "successful" a woman is, finding a HVM is hard for every woman bc most men are LVM/NVM. And every woman, "successful" or not, stands to lose the same things- mainly time and money from these gold digging men.

Same. He's a piece of shit but this could have been avoided if she vetted and didn't have casual sex with him.

Yep, or what happens if they don’t wanna send pictures anymore? It’s so weird and dehumanizing to idealize someone like that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/22 10:13 AM

Yeah, 24 and 29 is a huge experience gap. And most people’s brains don’t reach full maturity until 25
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/22 08:29 AM
72

This advice is for women who want to get married. It’s honestly not worth moving in with a man unless you’re getting married. I can’t stop you though, so all I can say is make sure to ruthlessly vet him and take legal/financial precautions if you do move in with him
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/22 08:16 AM
244

Seems like you already know what to do- don’t move in with him girl. You clearly don’t want to and have your reasons. FDS also says not to move in together unless you’re engaged (if that’s what you want). Read the handbook if you haven’t already. The age gap between you two is kind of big too tbh. You’re still young so don’t limit yourself to a serious decision/future with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/22 06:11 AM
24

Rather than let it go, I think you need to dump him. He has 2 homes, is working on purchasing a 3rd but wants you to go 50/50? No sis. Also, he clearly makes enough to afford utilities so why does he even want you to pay for that? The fact that he acted surprised is also a red flag. A HVM knows you're worth it and wouldn't question that. Listen to your gut. And I agree with the other posters that the age gap is a concern.

Yikes the love bombing. I find it creepy that he sent flowers to your hotel before even meeting you in person (and I'm usually all for gifts lol). He even tried to neg you during your video call and get YOU to chase instead 🤮 Honestly you should have blocked and deleted when he negged you and tried to put other women down. Seems like he also tried the classic "bait and switch" after or whatever the term is. Glad you blocked and deleted. Edit: never mind removed my second paragraph because I thin…

I wouldn't give something too expensive or deeply personal. Just something simple he likes. The price depends on the gifts he's given you and how long you've been with him (Honestly though I wouldn't spend more than $30 LMFAO). Tbh I don't think you need to put in a lot of effort into choosing a gift like you would for a female friend/family member. Provider men usually don't care about gifts, in the sense that they're happy with whatever you give them (and sometimes they don't even use the gift…

We LOVE to see it!! He sounds like a fucking train wreck. You analyzed his behaviour well; he seems like a narc to me and at the very least, sadistic (the animal abuse video) and manipulative (the negging and gaslighting, especially the "you don't need to worry" line). Congrats on getting rid of him and I'm proud of you too!

Hey! Hustle can also mean to trick/con someone by pretending to know less than you do (like for example, you hustle someone in a game of poker by acting like you don't know anything, placing a bet, and then winning because you're actually an expert). At least that's how I define it and have seen it used.

I'm SO sorry you are going through this. You don't owe your ex anything- especially civilness. Sexual assault is not something you can just "get over" so please don't blame yourself or feel bad because of your emotions. You have every right to feel that way- it doesn't matter how long it's been. You are NOT being dramatic. I hope you can someday heal from this but don't rush yourself. In my opinion, you do not have to forgive him for what he did. I know that I would never be able to. I also thin…

If he doesn’t plan anything, break up with him. You deserve so much better. Honestly the fact that he told you he’s saving up for a ring already sounds like bread-crumbing. It’s so unromantic too. That would already be a deal-breaker for me. If he can’t afford a ring now how is he gonna provide for you guys later on? Think about the quality of life you want and whether that’s achievable with him or not.

My thoughts exactly. Saying fiances should be "equitable" doesn't sound like FDS ideology when women do SO much free and invisible labour. That's like going 25/75 on a date. You are still losing, even if it's perceived to be less.

What? This is what’s expected of women now, not men LOL. Are there even expectations for men anymore?? Women will provide for (broke) men AND do everything else in the household. Men are parasites now. At least back then they paid for everything instead of trying to go 50-50 and mooch off women

I wouldn't. He will just mirror your answers and use it to get what he wants (e.g. sex).

It’s funny how men who say “not all men” don’t do anything to prove this statement otherwise. Women will literally be getting harassed on social media by men and their only reply to the situation is “not all men are like this!!” Okay then prove it. Speak out against your fellow men in the replies instead of letting them get away with harassing women.

No, you're not. It's definitely too much. I would have blocked/unmatched after he asked "so for how long have u been single ?" though.

Ideally, we should be dating men who are at their best (when he already has a house and his debt is paid off), not at their potential. But I guess that depends on the age. This room is definitely a dealbreaker for me no matter the age and circumstances though.

Nah I'm leaving. "At this grown age" you can put effort into the place you live, even at a low-cost. Especially if you're planning on inviting your girlfriend over. I think this type of room is acceptable from a friend but definitely not from a boyfriend and possibly a future husband. I would never date a guy who's financially struggling and has low standards like this.

I recommend unfollowing all influencers/fitness model accounts and replacing them with body-positive, self-empowerment and positivity accounts in general instead. This will shift your mindset by a lot. I know it has for me. I can DM you some if you want. You need to start making positive posts on your feed the new norm. By seeing these posts often and even repeating some of them as affirmations, you'll soon start to believe them yourself. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it. It may t…

How much further do men want women to lower themselves for them? We would be underground at this point. Although, I suppose some of them would like that.

Men really think they own women's bodies. How dare we take care of and put ourselves first without their consent!

You are NOT being sensitive. This is completely unacceptable and LVM/NVM behaviour. It was already wrong of him to send you these pictures in the first place, but to do it again multiple times after you told him to stop is just disgusting. He is being disrespectful and disregarding your feelings on purpose. He's trying to make you feel insecure so he can fuel his own ego and gain personal satisfaction. He even admitted it. So of course you're upset. Anyone would be. However, please do not give h…

This girl is a joke but the men in the comments are just as pathetic LOL. They denounce this sub as if we would ever give them the time of day. It hurts you because you know it's true and your ego is fragile. Too bad your whiny bitter feelings towards this sub aren't gonna stop us from living our best lives.

Oh my god, I actually have no words. Imagine admitting you’re this much of a pickmeisha. Does she have a humiliation kink? Because this is so embarrassing. You can have all the LVM and NVM girl cause we don’t want them. Hope they see this and pick you!

"on another note did you have any kinks or role play fantasies?" He thought this was acceptable to ask after your conversation, why? The audacity of these scrotes... Anyway good on you for following through with blocking.

A woman in her early twenties dating a man in his 30s is just a huge no. They are in completely different stages of life. She is just beginning hers meanwhile he is most likely looking to settle down (and if he's not looking to marry at 30+ then... red flag). I recently turned 21 and I wouldn't date anyone 25+, even 25 I'm a bit wary of. It just seems too predatory and makes you wonder why he can't get a woman his own age and/or why he prefers to date someone 5+ years younger.

Do you know him from a dating app? If he offers a low effort date, block/unmatch and move on. If you know him IRL, it may be harder to ghost (if he’s apart of a friend circle or something) so just tell him that you aren’t interested anymore. I don’t trust men who even dare to offer or suggest a low effort date and block them. The last guy I dated suggested a low effort second date so I asked him to change it, and he still had the audacity to make me pay for my lunch. There’s a reason he didn’t m…

Neg. He could have just said you look great and leave it at that. As someone else said, if you have to ask, it’s probably not a compliment. Compliments are straight-forward and leave no room for doubt.

Do not tell him you’re a virgin until you’ve successfully vetted and are in a long-term relationship with him (read the handbook). Even then I would be careful disclosing this as many men are willing to play the long game (if he can “sense” that you’re inexperienced he may do this). I think you should focus on your studies for now though. It’s way more important than dating. And honestly (speaking from experience) most guys in their early twenties are not worth dating lol. Most of the ones on da…

Any movie by Quentin Tarantino. I don’t know why I gave this one guy the benefit of doubt after he said that 🤦🏼‍♀️ there’s no excuse for bad taste! (And supporting misogynists). Obviously Lolita, American Psycho, and 50 Shades are major red flags as well. There are more but I can’t name them all off the top of my head. Also any movie that’s commonly known to be directed by or starring someone who is a rapist and/or pedophile, etc. is a red flag for me. It shows he most likely doesn’t care nor ta…

Yeah, it was Hinge. I know! I was actually shocked by the audacity ugly men had to like/comment on my profile as if I'd ever match with them. It's honestly insulting lol. I thought it would be easier to see who liked my profile but these apps just give the worst men access to us. Although there are some men who seem to meet my standards, it's not enough for me to use the app again when there are so many of them who don't meet them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/08/20 07:14 PM

Totally agree. I was on an app that allowed you to comment on people's profiles, even if you didn't match with them and it was incredibly offputting to not only see what some of the men looked like but go through their lame and creepy comments, especially from those I would never in a million years give a chance to (lol).

I really don't know how men have the audacity to do something like this. I know they don't care, but it's still jarring to think about. The level of entitlement is insane, as well as the lack of social awareness (besides it being an obvious HIPAA violation). It reminds me of this seasonal coworker from my old retail job who added me on Facebook after a few IRL conversations (that were literally just small talk lol). I never told him my last name, and being naive and young at the time, gave him t…

"Men don't respond to words; they respond to no contact." Sherry Argov's book was such an eye-opener for me. It also felt like really obvious things to know about men after I considered them. I can't believe I was ever willing to give a man more than they gave me lmao (like emotionally even though I knew about emotional labour smh). My empathy/niceness/etc. was a pick me trait in disguise. I also can't believe I was willing to settle for 50/50 even though I KNEW that was not what I wanted. After…

u/hasaalbafo i don't think it's bad. i want the exact same thing in a relationship- a man who takes care of me (financially, emotionally, physically, etc). don't forget that WE are the prize. and as a result, we set the standards. at the end of the day, we don't NEED a man in our lives (men are more likely to need us). so, if we're gonna have a man in our lives, he better be adding something worthy to it. LVM and NVM want us to believe that we're asking for too much (society has conditioned us b…

They just don't care enough to. They know they won't lose anything if they don't empathize/have emotional intelligence (many women will put up with this), so why change? They’re inhumane.

They ALWAYS expose themselves in their dating profiles, it's crazy. I'm shocked at how many of them will admit that they're broke, cheap, racist- whatever, you name it. Men know that women are more likely to lower their standards because we're conditioned to so they'll proudly announce all of their negative qualities and wear them like a badge of honour.
