I try to be patient with posts here but.... This is the most generic, obvious advice. I would love to hear your opinion if you had some compelling perspective or novel approach to solving problems, but this is just fluff.

You can do anything you want to a woman, except bore her. -The Counselor, check the movie out if you haven't seen it. 10/10

There is no right and wrong in life. There are only the consequences of your actions. Your worry, although justified, is waste of your energy. If a problem arises, handle it the best you can. But try and ease your mind, it's your best plan of action at this point.

Better option is for her to see you around with girls and make her jealous. Then she might come to you. I'm not a fan of the Hail Mary when you're clearly classified as a friend. Just seems desperate.

My buddy explained his position on this really well. By not getting married you reduce your risk by a metric shit ton because you don't have to worry about alimony. Secondly, his opinion that if child support is the cost of having a kid, it's totally worth it to him. Having a family is a great experience, just have to define if it's worth it for you financially. Just don't fuck up and be a drunk or anything so you have a chance at 50/50 custody.

Yea some girls around here have stated that they withhold sex until marriage. Now they've got the commitment, so they give up to goods. Timeline is yours to decide though, obviously.

Probably one of the 10 post I've read on this site. Great work. The nail that hit the head though was that approaching makes you appear alpha. I've never thought about that before. Honestly I just thought most normal dudes approach girls whenever the mood strikes. But as an average looking dude, I have pulled some nice tail whenever I put the whole thing together.

Marriage, fundamentally, isn't about where you are in your career. We all have to go through our professional progression, but why can't we do that with somebody we love? Some of the best marriages I know were a young couple who started at the bottom and helped each other achieve greatness. Personally, I would rather go through that with somebody that has my back. Just haven't found the right one yet.

You're welcome. I had serious depression/mental health problems and after years of searching for the right counselor/medication regiment/lifestyle adjustments I asked my counselor a simple question. How much of therapy is just venting and getting all the shit off your chest (and your mind) and how much of it is you giving advice to help people fix their problems? He told me he thinks over 50% of therapy is venting. And I agree because after talking about my problems time after time after time I …

I see you're seeing a therapist and really that's your best move here. I can't imagine what it's like to be sexually assaulted but I have been abused in the past by close family members so I'm familiar with triggers. What helped me get completely over it, like genuinely I got over all my triggers, is just keep working through it. Emotionally, verbally, and actively thinking about it. The more you face your challenges on a daily basis, the less they have a hold on you. You fear begins to diminish…

An argument is what happens when being right becomes more important than listening. That is some extraordinary wisdom. Thanks for sharing.

I kinda disagree. She didn't really hurt herself because she cheated on a man, which according to OP, had low SMV. She was right to do that at the time. Her mistake was not cheating and leaving for a person she perceived as better, but rather the fact that she did not improve herself equally.

Find something that needs doing, don't ask - just do. Or at least, if you do ask, ask with a purpose - not 'can I help?' but 'Where is the tea towel, I'm going to wash the dishes' This is really great advice that applies to all of life. My buddy's dad worked at a construction warehouse supplier and noticed that they didn't have a company wide safety standards. On his off-time he created a plan and presented it to his bosses, now they created a new position "Head of Safety" just for him with a hu…

Affection for dudes doesn't have to be physical at all, but sure you can have affectionate kissing and hugging that doesn't lead to escalation. Affection is simply showing somebody that you care deeply, and for dudes this can be packing our lunch for us, stuffing it with a letter, running to Home Depot for the drywall screws I forgot so I don't have to go for the 5th time today, or even just bringing us a beer. It's pretty simple to keep us happy. And sex would be great too.

When I first thought of myself as being replaceable, I thought of it in a very negative way. I like feeling special to my partner and feeling replaceable takes away those feelings. It makes you think, "What's the point?". However, I have learned to replace those thoughts with these: My partner is not obligated to be with me. See this is true red pill stuff right. You learn the truth, it makes you sad. You realize there's a shade of positivity and you focus on that instead. This is true maturity …

What do they even mean get help? Like a divorce attorney is the only person that she could call. She going to call the cops saying "my husband is having consenual sex with another woman?!" Seriously the delusion is real. He should get a divorce before she is entitled to half of his earnings FOREVER. That's how it works in my state after a certain number of years.

I think what you might be missing about what everyone is saying, is that a X date rule is usually easily broken if she can rationalize (hamster) it away. But humans aren't hamsters. Some people are above that, regardless of gender.

A dude I know is a third grade teacher and I respect his opinion highly and I'll tell you exactly what he told me in a party situation: "I'm not into fucking girls that are more fucked up than I am" I think that makes a pretty clear morale moral* line.

I agree with this. Failure is subjective. So if you're not getting laid as much as you want, you should probably be putting your energy into that rather than porn.

Nah, regardless of how much I don't like Klinesman right now for his comments stating "we can't win the world cup" his analysis about overpaying aging stars rings true with Kobe. We're all a little sad (probably except Suns fans).

Certainly worse if they did it on purpose. Another link around here talked about how women just makes decisions based on their biological and reproductive needs. TBP tells us we are argue, fuss, complain, or any other form of hamstering about 'how it should be'. TRP teaches me to accept it at face value. They can't change how they are, just like we can't. Luckily, not at all women are biologically programmed to be manipulative like this lady.

I feel like your message is lost behind a throwaway account. Why the fuck should I listen to you if you can't even own up to your own opinions?
