There are institutions publishing and spreading misinformation about it. You can start with them. It's also a much more effective vector of change than one pair of parents.

You shouldn't be mad at them, they did what they thought was best for you. It's not their fault that society misinformed them.

we should embrace racists and what they say as long as they don’t act badly, and the people they hate should be understanding and help them get through it It doesn't sound like such a bad idea

I'm sorry, but that's very far away from Nazism. She does sound eccentric and man-hating, but the equivalency is still false, and still diminishes the actual atrocities they committed. All I'm saying is that if you actually care about fixing these things, then getting into endless name-calling arguments, which woke crowds are already very adept at, isn't the way to go.

That's just one person, not a whole movement. Also, I doubt that they called for actual murder. What's that person's name?

Please stop saying and upvoting these things. This is exactly what mods will later point at to justify calling this a hate sub. Also, you are diminishing actual nazism. Please read up on what they actually did. Better yet, watch videos. Whatever faults feminism has, we should engage them rationally and not with these divisive slogans.

Have you ever bargained in china? I have. When the vendor gives you a price, say 200 yen, you say one tenth, for example 20 yen. They will laugh and you'll insist. If you continue the bargain correctly, you will get the item for 30 yen. The first number only anchors the negotiation if you don't know what you're doing. When you know the right price, this rule is meaningless.

How can you care about success, but not care about failure? I know how to not take it personally, but I still care.

In fact, you can. In a loud bassy voice, so their mom can hear outside, say: "Don't talk to me boys, mind your own business". It will voice the misjustice against you much better than a post here would.

I understand your math, but not your numbers. That equation is also relevant to my risk of dying in a car accident, and yet I drive, because I believe that "small" is pretty damn small. And it actually isn't that small. It's his right to be afraid, it can be his private phobia, but I don't think over-hyping reality would be helpful to the men's rights community. If you think the chance of him being accused of pedophilia for peeing there in a stall is measurably bigger than my chance of getting i…

I agree we are being wrongly persecuted on this issue, but it seem to me that maybe you're taking it a bit too far, beyond reasonable worry..

How is paranoia a relevant anecdote? Nothing happened, how can you even know there was a real risk if you, say, used a stall?

No, but women's gender role doesn't emphasize maturity and responsibility. When a woman is being immature, people are more likely to accept it.

I think everyone should man up, both men and women. I think "man up" isn't about being more masculine, it's about being more mature and responsible.

True. Optimally, the quickest go first, but a small group of the strongest and fittest (who are also willing) will remain last and help anyone in difficulty. No point in having all the fit people stay behind though, it would just cause more chaos.

She gave strong IOIs in the past, when I wasn't available. Now they're only weak, not even sure if they really are IOIs. She never agreed to meet, I only asked twice. She initiated facebook chat a few times when I ignored her.

I've had a girl who was always happy to talk to me and meet me in a group, but never willing to meet in private. I cut her off because I assumed she's aggressively friend-zoning me. How can I tell if I misjudged the situation?

Nice. Your figurative categorization helped me to understand better the different kinds of social interactions. Instead of having one big bag of tricks (well, mine is still small), I now have three smaller ones, and it might make my social interactions more organized. So thanks!

I've been reading about it in the past few months, trying different things, mostly working on inner game. We made some slightly sexual jokes. Her friend was always present, and I couldn't create any intimacy with her (until the goodbyes, when I held her wrist).

A short explanation on the items can make the list more useful. For instance, "You should be Alpha—all the time", sure not everyone can pull it off, but what's wrong with it?

you can say something like you thought they were cute That's probably not very helpful if that's the only thing you say, and hot girls are more likely to shoot you down. Ugly girls are more likely to help with the conversation. But it seems like you bigger problems than just AA, I would try to address these first.

I'm walking around in the day, finding the girls that I consider attractive enough If ugly girls scare you just as much, why do you wait for the hot ones?

Start with ugly chicks and move on up. Hell, start with anyone and everyone. If you save your approaches only for hot chicks, you're putting them on a pedestal, and well duh ofc you'll be nervous.

Women want to be seduced in bed as well. While a lot more intimate and relaxed, you still need routines. They don't have to be verbal. What I like to do, and works for me very well, is to very slowly escalate during make-out. For instance, caress her on the outside of the thigh, and slowly move to caress the inside of the thigh (the target spot is obvious, but you don't quite go there yet). When you sense tension (as there probably will be), step back and try again in after a short while (few se…

And guys normally kino each other a lot That's where we disagree, especially with strangers. If a guy I don't know purposely touches me and makes no attempt to justify it (e.g. by being friendly), I label him a douche until proven otherwise.
/r/seduction13/06/10 04:27 PM

When I see a friend, I'm genuinely curious to know how he's doing. If you ignore me at first when we meet up, and instead try to lower my value, then you're not really a friend. Fine, you don't have to be, but what's up with the pat? Keep your kino away from me.

Many if not most categorizations are arbitrary, for example colors. It's still useful to have names for them, even if most fall somewhere in between the names.

But in that environment, how could I tell you're intelligent? It's too loud to have a complex conversation, and you probably wouldn't be in the state of mind to engage it anyway.

I agree these are real problems AFCs face, but that's old news, and it still doesn't justify the premise of the article. Perhaps a more suiting title, according to your explanation, would be "The Nice Guy’s Guide to Realizing Niceness Isn't Your Obstacle" But that too would be wrong, IMHO. I think all of these bad qualities are really just the result of guys taking their "nice" way too far.
/r/seduction30/05/10 10:23 AM

None of these points convey un-niceness. So some nice people have problems, and some are selective about who they're nice to, boohoo. Regardless, I have friends who are none of that and still can't get a chick. Bullshit rating: 8

I'm potentially that friend. If you act like I mess things up, it'd make me even more stressed next time we enter a set: Obviously if I knew what to say, I'd say it. A few things you could do: When he does things wrong, explain what he did, why it was wrong, and what he should have done (tactfully ofc). Before entering a set, or new social situation, prepare him to what you'll attempt and suggest something he should attempt. Give him a hand. If he's stuck, or says something dumb, intervene and "…

It seems like she's always the one planning what to do. I would plan a "fun day", take her to tiring extreme sports activities (climbing, rafting, etc.), and since you'll be both starving at the end of the day, next step is dinner. Afaik, lots of adrenaline followed by lots of food and some wine will make anyone calm and receptive, and it makes a great moment to create intimacy.

That would ruin my argument, if you had a way to prove that he's honest. Then again, maybe he wrote it just to get some criticism off his back. I don't know about others, but when I truly appreciate people, I don't need a guidebook to tell me how to show it.
