Unfortunately this is the type of red flag that makes me cut ties with a person. Have never seen anyone recover from ego like this.

Lol I'm over here like... is this too early? Lots of guys don't even begin to find themselves til 25 or so.

I genuinely hate sitting in restaurants and doing it for a date is an anxiety inducing idea. I just pick places I actually want to go, and that’s usually great. I think the main issue here is congruence. If you don’t want to; then don’t. If you want to do it, don’t “resist” the urge because of the “rules” lol. They’re 100% overthinking it.

Well I am so lame, and I have no problems dating. But let me get this straight. If you’re bad at conversation, you should… avoid practicing conversation.

The issue there is worrying. These issues would easily be overlooked with a confident person.

I’m very masc, large build, beard. But I also wear tight athletic pants, tiny bright color fannypacks, and fun shirts. Do I get hit on by guys? Yup. Do I get hit on by women? Also yes. Most importantly, I like it. I feel comfortable and congruent. I attract the kind of girls I’m into. I think the fear of looking gay drives most of this.

As someone who used to be this awkward, I feel for him, but he’s acting like a child and needs to be confronted. If he doesn’t listen then that’s on him and he may never grow up.

Yes thank you. So many posts read like some sort of neocon fan fiction. I’m left leaning and have been here since the beginning. It’s gotten so hateful and far from the original point. Whatever happened to not hating women, but helping each other instead.

Well said. I’m always torn through, stories like this need to be repeated, but the tone is just off. I honestly feel bad for her, even if I wouldn’t help, even if it’s her fault. I feel for anyone struggling. Let’s not start attacking everyone just because we can.

There’s no getting around it. She is free to leave whenever she wants. If she keeps pushing, get rid of her. If you want a relationship, have it. There’s nothing beta about doing what you want.

As far as people who you’re taking out to be social, if they’re not taking the initiative or responding, you should stop taking them out. You don’t need to cut them out completely but you should absolutely not hold out hope they’ll magically open up.

It’s not shitty advice. I am not a drug user in general, but they have opened my eyes in ways that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Meditation was also the same for me, but different. How To Change Your Mind (Michael Pollan) is an excellent book on psychedelics, how they became demonized, and why we don’t use them clinically. It completely changed my opinion of them.

There’s a question you have to ask when you want to gain success. What are you willing to give up? For me, it was friends. Everyone I knew was toxic. It’s lonely as hell. Sometimes I lose my way. But you know what? I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s gotten better. I made better friends. I figured out so many things. The success comes. What’s the alternative? A lifetime of failure and familiar people who drag you down? No thanks. I’d rather try my best and die alone. You can’t keep doing wh…

Social skills are just like any other skills. It's harder than say, Piano, because its intimating, but you have to be wiling to suck before you get good. The biggest difference I see between those who succeed and those who don't, is how much time you're willing to put in studying and PRACTICE. Read everything. Watch everything. Practice, practice and practice.

Abundance mentality. And ya, 100% get in shape and work on yourself, but it isn't necessary to approach and succeed.

IOI =/= sexual attraction. It's what you do with them that turns it into attraction.
/r/askTRP05/11/18 12:32 AM
7

Absolutely. And different levels of experience. Different situations. For instance, if she's not showing any interest, move on. If she is, that's when passing shit tests like a warrior applies.

Yes, and that's why you manage the behavior.

I get the sentiment, but it comes from a place of abundance, not a beginner. It’s kinda like telling poor people to try not being poor.

this legit makes me feel bad for this woman... but just like the rest of us, she has a responsibility to better herself, or suffer the consequences.
/r/TheRedPill28/10/18 04:35 PM

if she wants to be around the best, she needs to be the best. either by being the most attractive, or having something other then sexuality to offer. would you want a low value, needy, unattractive partner?

Not a good thing if she’s using you as an emotional tampon.

I read something about guys living at home just generally having a harder time with women, and how much more confidence they had once they moved out. I hate to say it, but its the only real option.
/r/askTRP26/10/18 04:25 PM
3

People seem to miss that... A big part of frame is not being afraid to lose her. Which means, not being afraid to just say fuck it and be human. Not everything is a shit test. And even if it is, so what if you fail it. So what if she leaves. You're an alpha with abundance mentality right? Just let go of the anxiety for once and be human. And ya... It'll probably turn out better than trying to calculate every single interaction ever.
/r/askTRP26/10/18 02:39 PM

Everyone is going to tell you to move on. And you should. But if you move forward, game her like any other girl. She's not different.

I can't believe you've done this.
/r/TheRedPill23/10/18 02:40 AM

maybe, but you don't need to figure this out. trying to guess if she's showing interest is just looking for the OK to go. treat women that show interest and don't show interest the same. assume attraction, engage, and bail if she's not responsive.
/r/TheRedPill23/10/18 02:39 AM

Exactly. How guys can take the boyfriend as anything other than a deflection I'll never understand. 'respecting' her boyfriend is some hard beta shit.

I have a serious problem with wasting time on FPS, and I've been toying with cutting it out all together. I need a replacement to calm my crazy thoughts. Meditation, running. Idk. Anyway, I agree 100% I think its not about moderation, but quality. If there is a good game that adds something to your life, and experience or a vision you hadn't seen before, then it improves who you are overall. Some games have changed how I look at the world. But for me, personally, when I spend my time actively …

This is why a lot of guys get stuck in clown mode. They get a laugh and a touch on the arm, and get terrified of shifting gears. Really, just kino fast and escalate. Be aggressive, isolate. You wont learn the nuances until you just do it.

Definitely not more discerning than I think. I'm well aware of how picky they are. What I'm saying is their opinion of your looks matters very little and has almost no impact on if they are attracted to you or not.
/r/askTRP08/10/18 07:55 PM
1

Tinder is actually proof that looks don't matter. If women never swipe right, how are they getting matches? How are guys getting girlfriends irl? It's all the other elements that build attraction. It's not about one woman in specific. It's about how attraction works in general. Arguing the opposite is like saying if you hit the genetic lottery 100% of women will want to sleep with you.

Yes I 100% believe this and have seen it in action. Attraction has no correlation to physical. It can help, but it's neither necessary nor sufficient. Believing it is shows a basic lack of understanding of attraction.

I think you're missing the point here. Who makes the risks 'worth it' or 'more valuable'? Who's setting the rules of the playing field here? There's no external hand guiding these principals. It is just what it is. Either shut up and deal with it or let someone else do it, be you a man or woman. No one likes it but that's how the world actually is.
/r/TheRedPill28/06/18 03:33 PM

You should absolutely not give up. I've been through this many times before. Just keep studying and applying and it will click. Finding another PUA or a bootcamp will teach you in a few days what will take months on your own. Also, being attractive has nothing to do with looks. It can help, but it's neither sufficient nor necessary.

Are you seriously responding to this? Uber-beta is uber. edit: holy crap downvoters... You don't have to push for sex to show you are invested. This is super beta. Its basically like, he read the whole article, then just said 'hmm, all this makes sense, but I'm just going to chose to ignore it because I'm to afraid to admit it might be true.' If that isn't beta behavior, I don't know what is.

Put less anxiety upon your self, and more action. You gain confidence by trial and error.

One guy that I was interested in tried to make me jealous, from the start by talking to other girls who were clearly less interesting than me. How do you know he was doing this and not just being friendly?

Under a strict interpretation of the law, these boys, by virtue of their age, were raped. But family courts have seen these incidents for what they were: consensual sexual encounters. Omg, I cant even believe this. I doubt they would see it that way the other way around.

This is by far the best book I've ever read on the male psyche. I hope that it impacts at least one other person who finds it because of this link as much as it did me.

Well, the problem is that we don't even know how to be honest with ourselves. You tell your self you miss her when probably its just the sex.

Again, its in the RESPONSE. As in, how beta males respond. As in, 90% of the time when I give sound PU advice to betas, they respond with disdain. Its the same with this. The author spent more time making fun of it then actually doing some thing useful and working things out for him self. Being a whinny douche never helped any one.

Its relevant in people's response. 90% of people who hear about PU or seduction respond with snickers or outright hate. Some of this shit I could see Tyler Durden doing, mainly the hand licking thing. The fact that it seems so unlikely to work, makes it gold in the right setting. Most of hte people in /r/sex are just basing it, rather then even asking if its true. "Put on your toughest, most confident mug as you look at her. Because of the shift in hormone levels, research says, women on the Pil…

You want some direct advice tho? Read these books: The Art Of Seduction The Sex God Method Magic Bullets The Game (Yes, just read it) Rules Of The Game. Its like any thing. Some of the science is fuzzy. Some of it you have to learn top-down. As in, you do the process then the science will be revealed. Amount of reading material from the sidebar is way too much, and not going to bother with it. You don't want to do the work. With out that drive, you'll never get anywhere. Seduction isn't for every one. You have to put in the time.

This was posted in /r/sex. People seem to have basically the same opinion as OP. Its not rocket science, but it doesn't seem like the tips are as awful as the author makes them sound. http://www.reddit.com/r/sex/comments/12ggd9/why_men_shouldnt_take_sex_advice_from_mens/

I feel like there's some kidna way to not preach and introduce new information. These guys WANT to learn, they just don't like what I'm telling them. I say "dont ask her out, make her ask you" and I get "Why would I bother contriving a situation like that? People have been asking girls out for years, and its worked till now!" so I say "but it doesn't...". But by then its too late. I've already put them on the defensive, and they don't want to hear it.

"Attachment" is a loaded word. It implies you are more worried about keeping some thing then you are about the reasons why you wanted it in the first place. Seducers are like water. Their fluidity and ability to change with any situation is what makes them so attractive. When you are 'attached' to a girl, you are unwilling to give her up, you are rigid and have fear. This is antiseductive. Your value as a person with out her, your independence, your abundance are the things that make you desirab…

Its not about attraction. Things like Kino and Neg work because girls all respond the same to them. Have you had a bad LTR experience before? Heh. Yea.. I'm bitter, I know. 3 years, cheated on and left for the other guy. 5 years, cheated on, left for the other guy. Doesn't mean I'm not trying to be objective, just makes it a bit harder for me.
/r/seduction25/10/11 04:46 PM

I'd rather spend my time with other girls. Thats how I feel. It seems like girls are always looking to trade up. Even if you are completely Alpha and successful, and every thing they want, you still run the risk of getting shit on. All it takes is dropping the ball for a minute and some other D bag is ready to jump in. In the end, women are all the same. This is why PU works at all.
/r/seduction25/10/11 02:18 PM

This could be. I think probably my last LTR (5 years) was just never right, and this has fucked up my game. No more good sirs!

I know the feeling. Seriously. I was on the verge of a serious break down, maybe doing some thing stupid. I came across a forever alone post on the front page. Led me here. My life has changed completely. All the things I've been half doing I just started going for. I went from desperate to in control in some thing like a week. I give my self credit for putting the work in, but finding this stuff really kept me going. Keep it up man, and don't forget how easy it is to failboat back to AFC. P.S. …

I don't think those questions are easy to answer. Love is easily confused. Happiness should come from within, no? And also, like I said, maybe if you don't have the alpha skills, you are probably going to end up being cheated on or just have it not work out. It happens all the time. Maybe PU is about becoming solid and not needing some one else... and maybe if you don't NEED some one, then a LTR might not be so terrible.
