Am I the only one thinking 'seduction' is dying around here? A lot of advice here seems to be for /r/decidingtobebetter or something like that.

Tell her 'Doesnt seem to be working, try harder'. Then give a light peck on head/cheek/lips whatever.

She's bound to get bored sitting there all day. You are like a breath of fresh air to her. Say 'hey cool tattoo/cellphone! Talk your way and open her up.

That's perfectly put. We all need to learn this, the faster you understand it the better.

Jesus, no. That's a terrible mindset. Just assume attraction and escalate.

Improv is a fantastic way of building conversations skills. Join your local class. The basics are simple. In any conversation, use 'Yes, And'. Don't negate. E.g: 1) Her: I just woke up. You: Woke up so late? --End of convo-- 2) Her: I just woke up You: Hey good morning. I feel todays gonna be a fun day. --convo goes on-- Also try word association exercises. Helps build off the other person's topic.

Younger women are being hit on all the fucking time, so they always have their shield on. They are usually the ones who shit test the hell out of guys to filter them out, which is natural. They have an abundance of guys around them fighting for their attention. Older women don't get hit on that often as compared to these younger ones. If someone's giving them attention, they usually don't put up too much of resistance. They are a bit scarce when it comes to romantic relationships, so you are a b…

The exercises are meant to externalize your shame based self talk. Like visualizing yourself in front of you and criticizing that image vocally. Another one of my favourites is the Hot Potato, which is a NLP technique that helps change your shame based response to a given situation to a healthier response. Suggest you read the book. Shame based people see themselves as flawed and defective from their innermost self. You can only rid yourself of shame if you understand what it is and why you are …

Basically a lot of self sabotaging behaviour is a direct result of toxic shame. Unlearn what limits you and rewire your behaviour patterns to what helps you achieve your goals. It definitely is a must read for social skills and confidence. You realize that the the only relationship that you need to work on is the one with yourself.

Think about why you hold yourself back and work on removing those self limiting beliefs. Remember that you deserve success and happiness. Love yourself. Start from there.

Personality games. Even a simple thing like asking the girl to choose a colour from red, green and blue and then telling her the traits works wonders. And it gives off a lot of tangents to talk about when getting to know someone.

It's my first field report, will get better with each one. For the escalation, I think about it as levels of comfort. If you skip to level 4 without going through level 1, you are going to meet resistance from a girl. I touched and held her hand. She held it back and didn't let go. Great. I touched her lower back and guided her towards a chair. She kept smiling, going good. I whipped out my phone and started to show her the pictures I took with it. I hugged her with my left arm but didn't stop w…

Its a journey. Love the process, forget the outcome. Take up a hobby, learn something new. Honestly, it really comes down to accepting and loving yourself and your life. For other people to value you, you must value yourself first.

The world doesn't revolve around 'you'. Nobody owes you anything. When you talk to people, make the conversation about them as well. Be interested in other people and their lives and they will find you more interesting. Finally as someone here wrote, outcome independence is the answer to most of your questions. Stop seeking an outcome, seek to be self amusing as long as the amusement doesnt hurt anyone else. One step at a time bro, you are gonna get there.

You are looking for a specific outcome and keep judging your actions and words. Surrender and let go of the need to control. Relax.

Time travel. Ok i know, hear me out. Imagine yourself 5 years from now. Case 1: You still refuse to step out of your comfort zone. You are angry, bitter and insecure. Frustrated all the time cuz you have an urge to be around girls but you dont know any girl who would hang out with you. Case 2: You pushed fear back and gave a non-sexual compliment to the next girl that you saw 5 years back. You realize she smiled and spoke to you all nice. You worked your way up, one small step, one small win at …

http://www.buzzle.com/images/people/body-language/genuine-smile.jpg You are not a function of something but a being, a presence. Smile to express your own self amusement. What you could do is pick a person or a celebrity who has a genuine smile and mirror the same each morning when you wake up. Look at yourself in the mirror and smile like they do. P.S. Baby smiles are some of the most genuine, non-threatening, heart-warming smiles ever. Google and work to mirror those. Work up from there. Stop …

Good post op. Made me think, would what you say make her feel threatened? If yes, that would be creepy. Build a bit of trust and rapport first before shelling the girl with dramatic lines, she would then be open enough to joke around. Oh, and always be smilin' and jokin' in a non creepy way.

Self talk is mostly determined by your circumstances while growing up. Being aware of it is a big step, good for you. Work towards understanding the root cause of your negative self talk e.g. if you were raised in a conflicted environment or frequently told to keep secrets at home, you might learn shame, which is defined as 'fear of isolation. As others have pointed out, positive affirmation tapes help. Download the ones by S.Mears, put them on your iPod and listen to them everyday, before going…

Improv helps talking to girls, so good question. The fundamentals of improv is that you don't put dead ends in a conversation. Always agree. Pass 1: A: Would you like to have napalm spread on toast? You: What the heck? No. Result: End of convo. Pass 2: A: Would you like to have napalm spread on toast? You: Sure thing. Who gobs down butter anyway? A: Dunno, one of those french snoots I guess. You: Aah the french. Fine dine, snails and butter, rich bastards. Result: Amusing conversation.

No, but i go out of my way to recorrect an outcome which in my mind did not go as i had planned the first time. Not really outcome independent now.

I took 'something holds you back', to mean you self sabotage your own plans. If that is the case, work on cultivating an independent self worth. Also, would suggest a book by paulo coelho called valkyries where he talks about 'breaking the pact' of self destruction.
