Wanted to post it just to see what some of you think. I mean in a way it's not wrong, women are paid less then men in general and for a myriad of reasons. It's just this isn't how the argument is presented anywhere but here, even the President frames it as "equal pay equal work" when in fact that is not at all what that 77% stat is about. I do agree with some saying that he shouldn't be doing this in secret, cause it could cause some trust issues, but there's some people in there telling him how shitty he is for trying to keep some money for himself. Someone got upvoted a lot berating him for not having the money go into a shared account.....

I'll admit that I used to be one that would say things about guys getting raped in prison, but when you think about it, it's pretty disgusting. Sure these guys did bad things and deserve justice, but that's what their jail sentence is for, not getting raped. And the thing is it's not only the murderers that are getting sexually assaulted, it's guys that are put in for marijuana, or other petty crimes. It's disgusting to see so many in this country do a complete 180 in terms of how they view sexu…

Changing the name of the class won't do much to change what is taught in it. One at my school is called "Gender Studies" but its pretty much just a women's studies class.
