I stand corrected. Got to be sure I check the label before I swallow 'em.

If you can connect with men, I'm curious why you have no idea how to form relationships with women. Well... most women have boyfriends or partners, and seem to socialise primarily with women friends (and one or two non-hetero men, "gay bestie"). It seems like platonic friendships between straight men and women are very rare and that's mostly outside of my control. Maybe I'm wrong here. With regards to the non-platonic, and difficulties with potential sexual partners: the cohort of women who I ca…

Haven’t posted here in a while. Just my Masters degree, which was tough because I have also been dealing with escalating mental health problems (seems pretty common in Gen Z atm). After a few years of working with women every day, and spending more time around them than I have ever have before, I’m glad to be able to say that…. I still have no idea how to interact with women socially, without being drunk. I’m 5’11, I can get myself up to a 5/10 look if I do all the self-care, I’m surrounded by p…

I think I can agree that through determination and drive, we can learn to interract and connect better with potential partners. But do you fundamentally disagree with me that genetics play a large role in making people attractive/giving them the ability to connect with others? Like, anxiety and depression are inhereted genetically. Predispositions to fear, paranoia, lack of focus are too.

She's conventionally attractive and not diseased. These are positive genetic markers that men look for.

I agree that likeability matters. It's just I believe likeability is a function of genetics also, broadly. Good genetics = neurotypical, able to socialise properly. The guy you thought was cute and kind? He probably had good genes that women are built to look for (height, symmetrical face, not mentally ill)

No other way we can go from Kate moss to Kim kardashian as the beauty standard in 2 decades Both Kate and Kim are have beauty traits than transcend cultural zeitgeist. Symmetrical cute faces, not ill, probably fairly neurotypical. I just don't understand how you can believe that mating isn't powerfully influenced by genetics?

Missing the point. I accept ugly people exist and fuck today. But look at the trends. Women are genuinely more selective than ever, and genetic engineering is coming very soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/21 07:52 PM

Ugly people fuck, pair bond, and have children all of the time. This is the case still, but look at where the trends are pointing. My point was that women are more selective now that ever before. Even ugly women seem to end up with semi-handsome men. Ugly men are FUCKED in the 2021 sexual marketplace; they just are. I've looksmaxxed a bit over the last few years but men even better looking than me are frozen out of relationships.

Simps don’t simp for everyone. They direct their adoration to people they want to fuck. That’s why it’s behaviour that is looked down upon. It’s not authentic.

Most men I know accept that there are aspects of unchecked masculinity that are toxic. Nearly all of my dad’s classmates died in their 50s of ill health, addiction or suicide. The only question we have is whether adjusting from those orientations is actually the primary pathway to better mental health, as is implied in these posts. Or whether you need these principles in order to make enough money so you can loosen up a bit. Of all of my friends, those most toxic masculine are the most wealthy a…

Simp behaviour is a tactic to get attention from people you’re attracted to who in turn aren’t attracted to you. There is no situation when a simp would simp for a simp. They do it to fuck upwards on the league table.

I wonder how much disparities in mental health are really more so resultant of class/socioeconomic divisions. I think if you’re working class and high on the ‘Man Box’ scale, you’re probably more likely to have mental illnesses and die early of addictions. But in my experience, middle or upper class men tend to have better mental health while still retaining most of the ‘man box’ attitudes at heart. I just think it’s reductionist to say: ‘want better mental health? Get rid of traditional masculi…

The reason a lot of men don't assimilate into mixed male-female social circles well is the femenine aspect dampens and rejects a lot of distinctiveness and mildly challenging postures from men. It's so obvious to spot in these social circles how men temper themselves to fit in. They are way more passive and act way dumber. A lot of this is about appearing totally non-threatening to women. Not physically obviously, more harmlessly confrontational in the way men speak when in all male environments…

For every 'problematic' man there are an equal number of 'problematic' women. I fully accept that well adjusted women are right to select well functioning men. But why can't all the fucked up men and women hook up and support each other?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/20 10:24 PM

Even when I was more of a mysogynostic conservative I thought cat-calling was completely unacceptable. There are a few exceptions to this I can think of (drunk men and women flirting loudly, both parties love it) but generally it's almost always horrible for the woman and embarrassing for the man.

I mean, red jumper guy isn't necessarily wrong. He's objectively right in his first assertion. His questioning of what Stacey sees in Chad is only hypocritical if the Chad is a good guy. Maybe this Chad is an asshole Chad and it really is questionable why Stacey wants him.

Women find it easier to get novel sex, does that explan the difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/20 04:57 PM

No I agree, but you'd have to be a major disphit to have a below-average SMV despite being tall and muscular. Like a literal murderer. And even then... Women are far more lenient and accommodating with men who have physically attractive traits. You can't deny this, surely?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/20 12:00 PM

If you live in the West and are tall and muscular, then you have got to be at least decent right? Women love tall guys, and muscularity implies some level of healthiness.

Think about the male models who force thier weak shrimp kids to play sports. I've seen first hand how a constant masculine presence can inhibit a kids own masculinity even if there is no ill-will. It's far better to have a father who likes sports, gets you into sports and plays sports with you than not.

Maybe having no father figure is better than a bad one. But: Children who grow up with involved fathers are: 39% more likely to earn mostly A’s in school, 45% less likely to repeat a grade, 60% less likely to be suspended or expelled from school, twice as likely to go to college and find stable employment after high school, 75% less likely to have a teen birth, and 80% less likely to spend time in jail. You're probably right linking fragile narcissism and inceldom. I was a virgin into my 20s with non-existant self-esteem and you have to figure out some coping methods. Women do this too, but differently. I blame shockingly bad fathers. That's the real problem in the world right now. Positive masculine role models = far fewer incels, better men.

You're telling men to work on themselves and build the life they want but I think the vast majority of women I know wouldn't be able to do this alone or in a bad relationship.

I mostly agree with this. But there is a level of handsomeness that overcomes silent, jealous brooding. Edward from Twilight? Centre of attention + handsome = slayer Centre of attention + not handsome = Peter Griffin. (May as well not be the centre of attention) Silent and brooding + handsome = "I just love how quiet and gentle he is" Silent and brooding + not handsome = literally who?

I have found that it's really hard for a lot of men to make platonic friendships with women. Especially when you're in the same age range. Gay and more effeminate men can do it easily, because they find it easier to integrate into the female social world, but I find that a lot of women just don't engage with heterosexual men that want to keep it non-sexual. For example, I pick up on the lack of eye contact such women give to men. They tend to keep their attention on their female friends and resp…

I can want a Domino's Pizza right now but know it's bad for me. All men experience more visual sexual stimulation than women. You can't turn this off. A faithful man in a great relationship can get a boner thinking about another girl or previous sexual encounter. But most men don't act on it in the same way that you know that short term gratification damages long term rewards.

Maybe it's just my age and where I'm from, but it seems like the group of people this is applicable to is quite small. Good looking, HVM have female friends because they're attractive and women enjoy being around them. These people, in reality, have no more 'respect for women' than nice guy orbiters, just way more success. It's really easy for men to be 'respectful' to women who are attracted to them. My HVM friends say women-critical things a lot more than I do because they have nothing to fear…

In my experience, this isn't the case. I've never seen a man get better at dating attractive women by changing his views on them in this way. The men I know who struggle with women are the most liberal and pro-femenist. You might personally appreciate men adopting these views, but to say it's advantageous to a man in terms of success with women is unfounded. The men that are most attractive to women can get them regardless of their political views. It's a feminist invention or an ideal to say th…

So before I speak to any woman, I should consider if I'm in her league and If I'm not just don't bother? Is this just selfish behaviour from women, though? Men have to deal with speaking to everyone or nothing would get done. I have met girls who were into me that I wasn't attracted to. I would feel terrible if I didn't treat them like I would want to be treated.

Sexual education in school should be expanded to give teens an evidence-based insight into relationships, sexuality and dating. Why do we spend more time teaching young people about plate tectonics than arguably the most important part of adult life? The fact that you thought there was a significant number of men who were content with being unable to ever have sex or a relationship shows how messed up our cultural understanding is. Even the most redpilled incel is thirsty every day. I know if I …

You have to admit there is a grey area. Some women don’t know what they like until they get it. I’m not advocating forcefulness; I’m just saying communication can not deliver things that people don’t even know they really really like.

I’d rather be judged on DNA and age that who I am as a person. That’s just me, though. I’m pretty sure there’s evidence that there is a genetic basis for the difference in male and female sexuality.

I’m writing to my political representative asking them to impose a ban on the ownership of vibrators and to increase investment into sex robot technology.

When women go out dressed in figure-hugging dresses and high heels, what do they want people to judge them on? I’m pretty sure I see a lot of women happy to appear as sex objects and don’t find that humiliating. I’m talking about men approaching and flirting with women. Of course men care about other things, but the initial consideration is overwhelmingly “how hot is she?”

Okay, so if it takes three times to enjoy the sex I’m pretty sure any man would agree to have sex with you three times if you want. But some men wouldn’t be willing to invest the time outside of the bed, so I could see that as a problem. And on the last thing, yeah I can imagine a lot of men are like that. It’s controversial to say, and I’ve never done anything like this, but I think when the woman asks for him to stop or a man is forceful about something they do get a real perverse intense sexu…

And men have to navigate these prejudices and past experiences, along with presenting themselves in the right way. VR Sex robots might unironically revolutionise the relationship scene. If men can get off satisfactorily from them, then then women in these threads who repeat the whole “we don’t need sex” schtick might get tested.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:37 AM
1

Maybe that’s by design. How can a man be happy is he isn’t able to access sex? I can get sex but I’m still not 100% there yet. And there’s loads of guys around me that don’t fuck for months. Nature expects them to be miserable and preoccupied about it. How else will our genetic traits be inherited?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:33 AM
1

Could you expand on “seriously hurt us” and “against our desire”? Does that just mean a fear that a man will, what, have sex then run? Be rough in bed? Because when women say they’ve been used, I never really get that. If you have sex and aren’t in a serious relationship why is there a serious expectation of a follow up? And how is this being taken advantage of?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:27 AM
2

Why would sexual relationships not be fun? Are women literally designed not to enjoy sex that isn’t conducive of creating a family, or something like that? Because for most women I’ve been with they’ve liked the sex for what it was, for the most part. Does it have to tie back into a big narrative about the future or family or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:21 AM

How can you know either of these things before having the sex, really?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:17 AM

I have a finite time on this planet, and there’s a climate crisis coming. Sidelining sex just wastes time and makes you even less likely to get good game. And again I don’t choose to want sex. I can masturbate 5 times a day and still be able to fuck. It’s innate within me and following that instinct seems to work for most men
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:07 AM

A women approaching a man is generally far easier for her than a man approaching a woman, though. The average girl not getting the attention of an attractive man has invested nothing and lost little. Men invest a lot more, there’s protocol and etiquette to follow in the advance. Even attractive men have to put on a show. I don’t need pity
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 05:03 AM

I’m not a woman, but I don’t imagine it’s conscious. Still, these considerations must go through your heads, surely? When you’re looking at a man you’re not just looking at how nice his ass is, you’re reading him at his core. I don’t think men do this initially.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:55 AM

Can you tell me one serious dating problem women have? Men don’t talk about how hard it can be, because that’s not a manly thing to do. Ideally we all want to be fucking all the time and make it look effortless. Complaining is a bad look. So there’s no support structure. If I was a woman, I think I would thank be kind to men more for even making it to the stage of engaging with me in real life. This is a hard thing to do, and women don’t give it a second thought.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:51 AM
1

Again, I totally understand this. Nature incentivises women to be as selective as she can be. I was just highlighting that almost all of the proactivity is assigned to men, most of the rejection, most of the scrutiny and a lot of heartache. Are other cultures like this? It doesn’t feel natural to me, in this regard. Also, women are having kids later now. A lot have them in their thirties. So why are 23 year old girls so selective? Are they thinking long term?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:45 AM
1

No, I agree. You can be a good person and not have sex. All’s that I said is that good people are more likely to have sex than bad people, in my experience. Moreover, I really do think the self worth of men is more directly tied to sex than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:37 AM
1

All things out of my control. If women don’t want me because of those things, fine. My identity is another matter. I don’t want to come across like I never have success with women. I do. But putting your whole identity and self-worth on the line sucks sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:34 AM

No, because I’d rather be rejected by a women because my shirt was ugly rather than my entire genetic makeup being inadequate.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:28 AM

Self worth for women and men is directly tied to sex, surely? Men want sex, women want men to want to have sex with them. Almost all of our life choices revolve around sex: work, education, our friends. Doesn’t it all boil down to procreation? I would imagine that good people get more sex than bad people.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:27 AM
2

I’m not condemning women for being like this. I’m just highlighting why men can struggle chasing women. There is literally no recognition from the other side that it’s hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:24 AM
2

Why would I be interested in serious, long term relationships in my mid 20s? You’re telling me that when you’re looking at other women in everyday life and casual occasions you are thinking about anything other than how nice she looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/20 04:22 AM
2

I’m fully aware that this is nature working as intended. Men should have to work really hard to impregnate a woman. You just have to vent sometimes though, when so much of our masculine identity and self worth is tied up in our ability to have sex. It’s hard to construct an identity that is wholly outside of that, an identity that is you on a philosophical level. It’s hard to feel whole when you’re instinct are telling you that you’re not man enough.
