Maybe not completely, but genetic engineering should reduce variation in appearance and reduce the extent to which any one person can be advantaged or disadvantaged over another based on physical appearance.

No. All of our attempts at making societies to live in apart from nature have failed. Nature always wins. That being said, people who are faced with a survival situation (like those in third-world countries) don't have the luxury of waiting around to pick attractive mates, and being attractive doesn't offer much benefit in terms of capability. Ugly people can build a house and make a fire just as well.

We haven't "bred out" hemophilia or sickle cell anemia. So no, obviously (tho people are taller now, tho that's probably due to nutrition more than anything else)

I doubt it. For example even if all tiny women go for 6'4" guys, they will have a good chance to born shorter sons. Going for most masculine-looking guys gives a chance to getting masculine-looking daughters, etc.

Nope genetics aren't that simple. Recessive genes will show up. Also there can be weird circumstances like a large man with a small women having a butch daughter. Things like that.
