2	Calling out a flake - "How to" without seeming like a needy jerk. I have a 3-strike rule. I'm usually the one making plans and putting them into action but once someone cancels a plan 3 times (legitimately or not), I stop planning. Not just 'drop off the radar' stop but I make them aware that they have been flaking, that I'm not going to plan again, and they can plan it if they want to see me again. 1	I've figured out the things holding me back, how do I get over them? Don't concern yourself with becoming 'that guy' that is often trying to pick girls up. If you're just really playfully flirty then it shouldn't bother other girls, if anything it will slightly help, girls like someone playful as well as the competition. If you don't want to be friends then you need to make your intentions clearer, have her understand that you don't have room in your life for a platonic relationship. Also forget about leagues. Always aim high. Just don't have them feeling like they're out of your league. It certainly is a lot to take in initially but as I'm sure you've heard, practice makes perfect in this field. Some things to keep in mind: If she had no interest in you she wouldn't have come over. If she didn't want to stay then she would have left earlier. If she didn't want to stay the night she would have left eventually.
