Thank you so much for this OP Had a chick who was seriously into me back then, we were best friends and shared everything. Well, maybe she did because she wanted into my pants. Extremely needy and would constantly cuddle, tell me she misses me and initiate hangouts. I completely denied her advanced because I felt she was needy and unattractive About 2 months back she moved on from me and suddenly treated me different, I suddenly fell hard. This was when my friends told me how much I missed out a…

Just because they come doesn’t mean they’re captured, grooming yourself and becoming more attractive may increase the number of girls who are receptive to you but without approaching aka still chasing the butterflies you aren’t gonna get any girls at all Yes you should be constantly improving with the sole focus of being the best version of yourself but you also need social competence, a good sense of boundaries and self-respect for it to work
/r/seduction26/10/18 11:10 AM

Because emotions are part and parcel of life and kind of underlie every action you display. In this case, your constant need to tell everyone you aren’t looking for fat/ugly chicks makes you come off as Extremely needy A dick head Needy because you constantly need to reaffirm others that you’re oh way too good for dating chicks below your calibre. This would naturally be alright since everyone has preferences but your need to tell everyone about it underlies your neediness and insecurity. In a w…

It’s about learning to respect others and their boundaries and to stop being a cunt so from what you’re saying in your post, it’s right up your alley and yeah that’s the book. No fat chicks or ugly chicks, just chicks you’re interested in which in this case I’m guessing would refer to attractive/slim chicks

Honestly OP this is shit advice. Engaging in petty shit tests and trying to play around with her is manipulative and toxic. Don’t start shit texting her and doing the whole “Oh you’re making excuses? So will I then” “Oh you’re not texting back as quickly? I’ll stop texting back then” Stop “punishing” these behaviours and instead just be honest. What’s the point of wasting time playing shit games? Just ask her what’s up and find out what her intentions are. If she has intentions to move on, this’…

Rather than acting like you’re winning which is putting a bandaid on a larger problem, actually actively invest in your lifestyle so you’re winning in actuality. Acting like you’re something you’re not is gonna just end up coming off as tryhard and any secure and well adjusted chick is gonna see through it. It’s ok advice but it’s not a definite solution.

Exactly this, you want to invest yourself in a community you’re interested in AND that has a lot of chicks that you can naturally click with. If you’re a traveler for example and you have gone to a lot of countries, meeting a chick overseas with similar experiences will naturally give you a head start in terms of rapport. If you’re a dancer for hobby and love what you do, get more invested in the community and rise in terms of status in the community, see if any of the chicks that come and go fi…

It’s not about how much you give or not, it’s about doing what feels right to you with the mindset that it doesn’t matter the outcome. You’re merely expressing your interest in her unconditionally and if she isn’t interested you move on.
/r/seduction20/08/18 01:46 PM

But it isn’t some corny thing like wearing lavender scented undies, it’s actually pretty legit advice in that you need to have a great baseline and sense of self worth for seduction to work

Thank you for this wholesome reply, a lot of people still think seduction is about manipulating and exploiting women when it’s really just about becoming interesting and learning how to communicate with women well, if it comes together it does but you need to understand the ball is in her court.

Can’t believe I’ve had to quote this to two assholes today, including you. “Men who go narcissistic act like they’re more important than anybody else. They are aggressive, insensitive, and demanding. They are self-serving and don’t handle rejection or loss well. Some of these men even end up becoming abusive. But the narcissist’s façade is weak and transparent. The truth is that the man’s narcissism is wielded as a sort of shield to protect the sensitive neediness underneath. See, narcissistic m…

As Mark Manson puts it — “Overcoming neediness is not about learning what to say or new things to do. Overcoming your neediness comes through a change in your mindset, your self-perception, and your self-respect. It's as simple as just changing your mind about women. Take a moment to consider… …That before meeting a woman, instead of worrying whether or not she will like you, you could wonder if you will like her. …That instead of feeling the need to impress her, you could wonder if she impresse…

No you fucking dip shit, it’s not about “hAvInG oNe PlAtE”. It’s about having a sense of self security and not investing more in her opinion of yourself than your own opinion of yourself. Having someone in mind makes that easier since you’re already sourcing validation from someone else. If you shift that source to yourself, you genuinely don’t care about the outcome of approaching and hence she knows you’re not needy as fuck. And for the love of god, stop referring to women as plates and having…

Don’t worry bout girls so much, focus on a few important things. First of which is your studies, don’t fuck that up. Secondly, your friends and family, make sure you’ve a solid base of people you can trust. Thirdly, find a couple of interests and start working on them — it helps if it’s something with a lot of publicity involved like a team sport or a performing art. Fourthly, make sure you enrich your mind by constantly reading and picking up new things, keep an open mind about things. Fifth th…

fuck that, you’ve got bigger issues to solve than just jumping straight into the dating world and finding a phony pick up coach. If you’ve got confidence issues and social anxiety, start by working on yourself. Read “Models” by Mark Manson or “No More Mr. Nice Guy”
/r/seduction20/08/18 05:31 AM

Short answer and most direct one? In a literal sense, you can’t. Relationships of all kinds are a two way street. You may want to be someone’s best friend but if they aren’t interested you can’t move beyond just acquaintances. In a sense the ceiling for relationships are only as high as the less invested person makes it out to be. If she decides you’re just fit to be okay friends, that’s as far as you’re gonna get until she’s convinced you can move on from that to a higher level. It’s simple rea…

I think Mark Manson put it better than I ever could. “Men who go narcissistic act like they’re more important than anybody else. They are aggressive, insensitive, and demanding. It is normal, if you want an explanation it’s simple — someone who invests way more in someone than they invest back is needy and needy behaviour shows a lack of a fulfilling and interesting life. And that is in itself unattractive

I hope this comment does not get buried under all the rest. If you’re new to this entire thing, I recommend you start from these books Models by Mark Manson No More Mr. Nice Guy These lay down foundational values you should possess and gives you a practical plan to becoming a confident and attractive male. Then teaches you to convey interest aka approaching, flirting, leading in the best way possible. I heavily recommend them as they do not have traditional PUA mindsets or manipulating women and…

To put it simply, people are attracted to attractive people — crazy idea right? You do your best to be as attractive as possible and get good at communicating and flirting, then you do a numbers game until you find a girl who you are compatible and have good chemistry with.

Here’s the thing, if you’re going into any romantic endeavour and the girl is playing hard to game or pulling up shit tests and games, simply do not play along. Communicate that you’re genuinely interested and am not interested in games. She’ll either realise that she doesn’t have to play games since you’re already interested and now honestly reciprocate or realise that yeah I can’t play games with this dude and am not interested so she’ll move on. Never waste time on a girl or anyone else for t…

At the risk of coming off as rude or pretentious, this post is the same as asking “How long is a strong?” You’re going to get a different answer every time. Real life is not as cookie cutter and straightforward as many of us would like to make it out to be. Following guidelines like “You need to hold hands on the first hour” and “You can only have sex on the 67th date” or in your case “You need to kiss on the first date” is unhealthy since if you’re doing things merely to tick off a checklist, t…

Hey my friend, I see you’re dealing with perhaps some issues with self-worth and it’s good that you’ve decided to reach out one way or another. I don’t think I need to tell you having this mindset is unhealthy as in the long run you’re making yourself miserable. Where Self-Worth comes from: Understand that self-worth comes from two things, the first of which is actually living well (you take care of yourself, am working towards a career, have a social life and good interests). Basically, having …

Spot on, especially the part about neediness. It’s essential to keep things light-hearted yet be able to convey interest in a subtle yet honest way. I think the vibe you wanna give off is “Hey, this dude is attracted but he seems like he’s taking this pretty casually” This makes it so the chick knows that you’re okay with being turned down because of this “abundance” mindset and that way it makes things easier on her side since dudes who refuse to give up are the ones who get rejected most often…

Appreciate the very level-headed and heartfelt reply. I would like to say that I can see where he’s coming from and that perhaps the aggressive nature of his post made me less receptive to what he’s trying to convey. Thanks for reminding me to keep an open mind and for such a well thought out and constructive post. I’ll definitely keep an open mind about it and continue improving on myself as well as my ability to communicate and attract others. PM me if you have any more insight into this very …

You make a good point and I think this post didn’t clarify it well enough. Having a good base and being secure and confident is necessary but so is having the communication skills and what we call “game”. The point is that by having a good base you naturally develop this game from a place of confidence rather than faking it.

If you’re saying a lack of self worth comes from a lack of human basic needs, realise that women are not the only source of affection and validation and prioritising them over family and or friends is needy and stupid.
/r/seduction11/08/18 05:34 AM

It was more of a “work on yourself before you try and get some” since approaching and being good at it is important but like you said you need a good baseline and approaching should be done from a place of security and confidence.

The logic here is that it’s still a short term solution and not really fixing the problem but merely putting a bandaid over it. If getting laid makes you less needy then you’re valuing sex way too much and that is ironically going to make you more needy since now your identity and where your security comes from is “hey wow I can actually sex xd”. If you want to come off as less needy and be more secure, then you actually become less needy and be more secure, by investing in yourself not in other…

The entire point here is that you can’t have a fulfilling and meaningful relationship without first being secure and happy with where you are. Until you’ve invested enough in yourself and have gotten to a certain standard of living you’re just going to be chasing at skirts and using one night stands as a coping mechanism for the gaping hole that is a lack of a meaningful life. Practicing isn’t faking it you idiot, practicing is practicing. Going out and talking to girls is fine, throwing dozens …

Well I personally think it’s a bad idea in general to read some lines or be told what to do or say by books if what you’re saying doesn’t come from a place of genuine emotions and honesty. Pick up techniques is generally geared towards getting dudes who have no clue what they’re doing easy lays. Yeah, sounds good in the short run but then he realises he wants something more than just one night stands what does he do then? Fake his way through an entire relationship being told by PUAs what to do …

Ah, well I'm sorry that I didn't go into applying that information. I obviously haven't helped you out a lot and that must be due to my lack of experience compared to the pros here. But if you're looking to apply this knowledge, I think I could help you out. 1:Start with places you already go to So maybe if you are in a university or school establishment you can try there for opportunities to getting girls' numbers. These places are usually opportune if you start early, meaning you go out and ge…

I've felt that way before, though it's hard to overcome and though you might be experiencing harder things than I am, I'm sure you'll get to overcoming them. I've mentioned this in my other response. Whilst raw confidence is good, and will get you to a certain extent, it's very important to have substance to back that confidence up. I know it's hard to get started, so many aspects of my life were lacking behind, and I found it hard to start. But I chose one aspect which was working on my physiqu…

Thank you fam. Well, it may help that I live in a rather conservation society where guys do not approach girls at all. I've literally not seen a single guy cold approach another girl in public all my life. This excludes Asian Americans or tourists who come here and are(maybe because of their culture) more open to doing that. So I technically have less competition, and I might just be lucky. Confidence here, in contrast to everyone being very awkward is more appreciated so that might be why. Don'…

Well, I have gotten some cold responses, and these two are actually just 2 successful out of the 4 approaches I made these two weeks. One girl did indeed say she had a boyfriend, and I joked and said "well so do I, so we have a lot in common" Do take note I did not come up with that in the heat of the moment but rather since flirting was technically off at that moment, I chose to play it off as a joke. We ended up not exchanging numbers, but atleast she didn't completely cut me off with that res…

Well yes, I think if you went to the TOP submitted posts of all time, you'll gain a lot of insight that will help you will faking it. First of all, it's all about mental conditioning. You can either keep telling yourself you're confident, and act confident until you actually are. The easier way to achieve this state of mind is actually by doing things that will give you confidence. For me, this was getting my life in check. I started using skincare products, getting haircuts that suited me, work…
