From what I can tell, you need to eat more and get serious about linear progression. Try something like Starting Strength for 3-6 months. Do you think the fact that you're 50, and have decades of investment into a relationship, gives you certain advantages in addition to the difficulties? Getting a timeline for the different aspects of MRP has been hard for me to get a grasp of. Your situation and mine seem similar, just separated by ~15 years. The chief and glaring difference is sex.

I'm guessing you're saying this because of your personal experience somehow.

The formatting of what sucks? Anger is an emotion. Emotions come and go. The phase is probably inevitable, but moving through the phase can be smooth or it can be rocky. Either way, if you will properly (fittingly), you'll make it out on the other end. In this case, I'm reflecting upon my passage through the phase itself, not the emotion or my reaction thereto.

RPC is nauseating. It makes me want to vomit. Perhaps seatease doesn't post there because he has no time to spare on supercilious fucks who wear their Christianity like a mask of excrement.

Front Squat: 180 x 5 Deadlift: 340 x 1 Overhead Press: 130 x 3 Bench Press: 165 x 5 Review One of the best things about having begun lifting in earnest has been its revealing to me structural and postural imbalances. Squats did this at first, mostly muscle weakness in my ad/abductors. Then the bench press. I'd suffered some nerve damage a few years ago, and I can tell there's a couple pockets of tight nerve bundles in between my scapula/spine and ju…

Because it's fun to determine an over/under for how many comment boxes he'll use.

Some, maybe most, people treat this place like a religion. This is a webpage on the Internet. Who the fuck knows if anything on here is actually true? Try this shit out and see if it gets you laid. I will say, though, that a lot of the benefit is learning not only what you could do, but how long you should do it before evaluating how effective it might be.

The chief benefit of MRP, at least as far as I see it, is having to swallow the fact that you've fucked up your life so badly you're forced to take advice from a webpage of people who use words like sexytime.

Fourth Post 34 y/o 6'0" 183 lbs. Weights (lbs.) Front Squat: 180 x 5 Deadlift: 340 x 1 Overhead Press: 125 x 5 Bench Press: 165 x 5 Review This review is primarily so that I can gather my thoughts into one cohesive whole, but I find myself in a place which I don't have a frame of reference for, no mooring. So if someone on here sees where I am, and can put a compass back in my hand, or point me out on the field map, I could really use a second pair of eyes. I've been doing whatever the fuck MRP …

Rian, Are they typically trying to hide something from themselves (maybe something for which they're ashamed, etc.), or are they trying to hide something from another? I've found your observation to be true of myself, I suppose as a way of preserving the Ego.
