I'm not sure if we actually disagree about very much. I probably cut feminists a little more slack than you do, but I get it. For what it's worth, I think the genesis of the menslib movement has something to do with the perception that MRAs are crazy, toxic, mysoginists. I think the issue is similar to feminism there.. guys that are concerned with real men's issues end up being held responsible for the fringes. Though, I will say, I only occasionally lurk in here.. and it never takes long for me…

Well I think the problem is that those feminists probably don't feel like they can trust men and they attribute bad motivations to any guy that might want to run a feminist site. Individually they may have good or bad reasons to feel that way, but that is the reality. In broad strokes.. they're seeing that there are men running lesbian sites/subreddits/etc for what they perceive to be bad faith reasons. They assume that the guy that is running the lesbian site is just a pervert scheming for a wa…

I think it's probably because the men run the lesbian sites that you would be banned for trying to run the feminist ones.

CD ROMs weren't really a thing until like 94. They probably existed in 88 but nobody had em. I'm so old.

Haha. Cool. Alright. I'll bite then. Why do you think my perspective is stupid, and why do you think its evidence of some underlying hatred of Trump?

Hey! Alright! Thanks for calling my very reasonable assertion dumb! You seem like a real peach! I was simply pointing out that it doesn't seem likely (to me) that she expected her stupid twitter post to be thrown back in her face because she's a female. I think that would have been incredibly naive of her. I don't agree with her politics, but I don't think she's that stupid. Male and female politicians on both sides have criticized the incumbent president for playing too much golf regularly for …

Has she criticized Trump for playing too much golf? I wouldn't be surprised. She needs media attention and that's low-hanging fruit. That would be a stupid thing for her to criticize though.. after all she obviously lives in a glass house. That said, I do think that presidential golf trips weigh more than missed votes in senate. Especially when those votes were missed because of one's involvement in a presidential campaign. Just my opinion. I hated it when Obama did it too.

You're saying that you think she expected this comment to not get too much attention due to the flood of anti-Trump rhetoric in her Twitter feed?

Sure, but do you really think that she was expecting to not have this thrown back in her face just because she's a female? That would be absurd.. Politicians say and do hypocritical shit all the time anticipating that the public will not notice or hold them to account. It happens all the time.

The missed votes are likely at least partially because she's running for president and has campaign stops everywhere. I'm not saying that I approve, but male senators that have run for president have missed plenty of votes too. Not exactly the type of content that this sub was built around..

I love Elizabeth Warren too but I think that the concensus is that she wouldn't do much to bring new support to the ticket. There have been some rumors about Barbara Lee though, and she would be a really exciting!

That was the most awful thing I've seen someone say to a complete stranger in a long time.

Kinda tough to be objective about such a thing. Why do you ask?

Ah. I just really didnt get that from the image and the problems listed. These choices dont seem all that similar to me..

Also, the problems listed are pretty arbitrary. Anyone could rewrite this list 10 more times, list completely different problems for both the males and the females, and make either gender seem like they have the more difficult lot. Almost seems like the intention here is to piss off women and not make any resounding point.
