throw it up the chain Exactly. That's the smartest and safest thing to do: report the situation to your supervisor, specially the "she cried and came to my office to tell me that she is currently suffering from mental problems".

About Height: it would be better to check stats regarding young adults. 99% of TRP are 30- y.o., and Height changed A LOT between generations. Our grandparents were smaller and shorter than us due lots of reasons, including lack of a balanced diet and lack of medical knowledge and health services.

I hated every minute I worked at Roland Berger. I couldn't bear it. I don't want to work 13h per day and not have time to go to the gym, to read a book, to spend time with my wife.

Strategic consulting and investment banking is not red pill, IMHO. It's just running the rat race while selling your soul. Been there, done that. Don't recommend. Money isn't everything in life, and you can earn pretty good money without selling your own health.

Bullshit. American culture is prevalecent all across the world. If on his home country good teeths aren't common, having them are even more important, as it's an indicator of a high-valuable person.

Anecdotal stories are more exciting to be noticed. "Rich Family send their son to the best private school in the state, he grows up doing exercises and eating healthy, expensive food. He was able to study Laws in Harvard and now he's a sucessful tax lawyer". Well, that's a hell of a boring story. "Poor guy grows up in the bad part of town, studied in a shithole and shared classes with cocaine users. He then become a waiter at McDonalds, but stayed up late at night to study by himself. He was abl…

Not talking without a lawyer is Justice 101, in my opinion. In every case that you're supposed to talk to the police, you need to have a lawyer by your side.

You guys has this legal concept in the UK / US? The one where you sue people for the profit that you WOULD had if the other people hadn't done something to you? In Brazil we call that "lucros cessantes", and this guy would be able to sue the Governor easily.

That's the point, I guess. The law here doesn't set a "minimum". In fact, there IS a minimum guaranteed by law, but only when your marriage doesn't explicit determines what agreement the couple is getting into. When the marriage contract is explicit on this matter, the law doesn't guarantee nothing.
/r/TheRedPill16/08/16 06:26 PM
14

That's totally absurd for me, as a Brazilian. Here our marriage contracts are 100% upheld in court. Hell, our Civil Code explicit creates three "default marriage agreements", and one of them is full separation of properties. It's weird to see that the US, the biggest country in the world, doesn't have a basic legal institution like (working, court upheld) marriage agreements.

I'm studying to become a Judge here in Brazil. They earn about 460-500k BRL per year. In dollars that about 130-140k per year. But that's nominal dollars. If you think in Purchase Parity Power, those 130-140k turns into 180k yearly. So that's a way to earn big bucks.

YEAH! THIS GUY GETS IT! I mean: if a 45 yo female teacher makes a 11 years old boy make oral sex on her and introduce a dildo in his anus, it is DEFINITELY NOT A RAPE! The 11 year old boy can only feel "Mild to Moderate Irritation"! It's just forced oral sex on your teacher who's 4 times older than you! It's just introducing a dildo in his ass and tearing it apart and making it bleed! Who won't feel only "mild irritation" after that?

For God's sake. A single mother wanting to go raw? That's a red flag bigger than that stupid Swiss flag! Two options here: 1) She's already pregnant and want to find a new daddy (that's you!) 2) She's tired about being a single mother and want to find a cute beta to pay her bills, using a second baby as a tool

Regarding a Finance Career: Be prepared to work 14-18 hours a day. I worked in Strategy Consulting (Roland Berger) and left the company, regardless the money. Hey, fellow brother Of course it has it's problems, but having total separation of assets is great. It's not common nowadays to have a stay-at-home wife (at least in metro areas like São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro), so the agreement can protect a large part of your assets and income. It is not perfect, but it is WAY better than the situation in America. Now a more practical tip: you and I studied humanities. I see, thanks for your insight. We don't have IRA/401k down here, and retail banks (where the accounts are shared between the couple) are too shitty for investments. So it's way more common for people to hold private accounts in independent investment platforms and purchase bonds, funds... And those accounts are always owned by one people only.
/r/askTRP03/06/15 01:20 PM

Bank accounts are combined in marriage here, too. But what thousands of dollars would be doing hanging in your checking account? It should be invested in an asset (bonds, for example), and those assets have a single owner. Alimony is a reality here, too. But, at least, the assets can be protected.

After reading a good part of the thread, that's the first time that I'm feeling that I already internalized RP concepts. The people on the thread are totally disconnected from reality. Well, I think that voluntarily talking with a law enforcement worker without a lawyer is kinda stupid, regardless where you are (maybe it's better in welfare-state northern Europe, I don't really have the information). Even if here in my country I don't think that the law enforcement is pressured for "more results" (arrests and fines), it's common sense to not speak a word with them without your lawyer.
/r/TheRedPill11/05/15 10:13 PM

So the federal government makes pressure on detectives and judges to arrest and get pleas from more and more people? And can law enforcement workers be laid off? They don't have a stable career? Sorry for the stupid questions. Here in Brazil, all government workers (like law enforcement and justice system) have a stable career. That means: 1) They can't be laid of ; 2) They have a programmed and expected career progression, with nearly-fixed promotions (a.k.a: every 2 years you get a small promo…

I will appropriate this thread a little to ask an honest question about the US Law/Justice system, if you guys allow me. Why does it sound that detectives/judges WANT to make people accept a plea or to go to jail? They earn some kind of bonus or they have higher promotion chances if they "win" more cases? Because, at least in my country Brazil, the police/justice system does not have any kind of incentives to do so. In fact, they commonly are really apathic, as they have a stable career and is n…

I totally agree, and that is what I was talking about. But people on TRP or outside it usually talk on a way that sounds impossible to, for example, enjoy videogames or a good technical job (IT, for example) and still develop other areas (physique, male hobbies, sports...)

I find funny this dual stereotype that people create: or you can be the "NERD" (high paying job, good scholarity, horrible physique, plays a lot of videogame) or you can be the "ROID" (low paying job, stupid, great physique, have sex with all girls). Hello mate. Yeah yeah, that's exactly our law. But the first one (separação total de bens) is incredibly uncommon, almost non-existant. I never saw anyone using that. I was talking about the second one, it's really common nowadays, and doesn't sound really bad. What I like about it is that my inheritance is protected (even if I receive it after the wedding), my previous-bought assets are mine (I want to marry after I've bought my own house, etc...).
/r/TheRedPill10/03/15 08:45 PM

In Brazil they are not. We are kinda strict with contracts and all. If those terms would be valid, are they acceptable?

Here in Brazil we have a few state universities (the best ones, and 100% free) and lots of private schools. It is relatively common to people take debts to go to those private schools, but they're nowhere near the levels of US debts (a full year costs less than 6,000 USD in 99% of those private schools)
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 10:14 PM

As a non-american, I find this whole high student debts very fun. I mean, the majority of people is taking those debts to do borderline useless degrees that they're 99% sure that won't allow them to repay the debts. But, even knowing that, you americans keep going to expensive colleges and making those huge debts. Hah.
