Even if you took the immigration out of the equation entirely the outlook would still be extremely dark though. The fertility rates like you pointed out for the local population are abysmal which will lead to economic stagnation and cutting of most social programs due to an indefinitely growing dependancy ratio. And aren't there jobs/positions that require you to pass a physical test of some kind that are way more biased in favor of men than university admission is for women? It's all about choices. And the fact is; becoming a lawyer and performing well in that role requires both. In fact being good at anything academy related requires memorization to an extent. Has nothing to do with what you've learned in high school, you have entirely new material/a bunch of books to learn on the topic and the exam will be based merely on those. Some countries probably do have cultures skewed towards shoving ADD meds down every male childs throat which is an issue - however i can speak for Finland that it isn't an issue here. 1	There's a big gender gap in European universities I can only talk about my country but i assume a lot of other European countries share similar requirements for entrance into a university. In Finland you usually do an entrance exam and have to score a certain amount of points to be admitted. So there is no preferential treatment for either sex. Get enough points - get in. Fail to get enough points - try again next year.
