If a soldier intentionally injures themselves to avoid combat, that is a court marshall offense. Same situation with pregnancy.

Its a benefit to parents to encourage growth, so is discriminatory against non parents by definition. For example, subsidies for electric vehicles are discriminatory against people who only want gas vehicles, for the same reason.

Honestly, a man is entitled to know whether a child he is supporting is his or not. There should be no question of that. It is not an offense to do the test.

A lot of people have had legitimately bad experiences, one after the other, or watched it happen with people they know, and have real personal reasons to think that way. His viewpoint, while generally 'wrong' is still legitimate and genuine.

Not sure what you're getting at.. he put the building up and she's providing the service. It would have been a more interesting headline if it was the other way around and not blatantly stereotypical, but there's nothing wrong with it. Personal choices all around. Are we supposed to be hating something for some reason?

I think your right. I'm just wondering if the reaction would have been the same with all the genders reversed. Like a dude coming in to a female dominated work environment and making hr complains about the workplace inappropriate behavior. I bet he would be treated the same or worse.. aaand then also be labelled the asshole.

Lol no. If a teaser is a deadly weapon, then Rayshard was justified in using it to fight for his life after having been shot by it already. And Rayshard did not fire the teaser, it was not capable of firing, and even if he did, that's not a reason to shoot him to death. They should have let him run. The police are not your friends. They don't give a shit about you, and will shoot you whenever they feel it's remotely "justified".

You could try doing the opposite and reply with humor. Agree and amplify. Every time they compare you to a girl, tell them something like, I'm getting ready for my sex change operation, btw can I borrow your lipstick?. It will drive them nuts. Do it everytime and they will eventually stop. Meanwhile you can enjoy pissing them off. Also criticize their lack of respect for you as a woman. These are basic techniques for how comedians deal with hecklers.

Yes but also the correct term would be sexual assault. The size and placement of the dump could result in different charges. You could be guilty of grand dumping, or dumping with intent to distribute, or whatever. The point is details and context matter, otherwise all crimes would just be "You did a bad thing, go to jail."

I've met several who believe in traditional values.. As in, they actually live by those rules. Very few men ever become cognizant of the fact that they too are human beings. What you want, what you need, food - shelter - safety - sex - respect - success - self actualization, matters, especially, if not only, to you. If you allow people to convince you that your needs don't matter or that their needs are above yours.. you will never have a fulfilling life. All the "happy wife, happy life" people fall into the above trap.

Here's the primary difference in how men and women are treated. Men are held responsible, even, and especially during -- difficult times. She however.. I don't understand. Conservatives generally think women should take care of the children. Supporting mens ability to take care of children, by providing these changing stations, goes against conservative values. This is therefore a liberal idea. They can ask you to pay anything they want. Manipulating that is not the point. The point is it can't be forcibly garnished or removed from you without your explicit compliance (If you do it right). When dealing with someone not completely stable, they can behave erratically. Like for example, saying they want to have sex with you, but being stand off ish and push you away when you get intimate, while continuing to say you should keep going. He's right but for the wrong reasons. You need to improve yourself in every way that that a person can. Find a role model and emulate them. Hit the gym, take a dance class, get a better job, haircut, lower your body fat etc.. Could take years. You're making several different arguments at the same time. The rider is optional because it must be added to the legislation, which then needs to be voted on in order to pass. If the ERA wouldn't pass without it, so be it. It won't pass. Men need to be responsible and not get taken advantage of. Women with mild symptoms are taken less seriously than men with mild symptoms in the same way that a black woman bleeding out after delivery is taken less seriously than white woman bleeding out after delivery. Do you really see this as casually related? That doctors who see shortness of breath caused by heart attack more in men than women would be less sensitive to shortness of breath caused by heart attack in women? My example was a bit off. What I meant to say was: Women with mild symptoms ar…
/r/MensRights20/08/19 06:54 PM

No. Meaning, given the higher number of male heart attacks, there are probably more men who have those symptoms total than women who do. This does not mean men are more likely to have those symptoms. It means doctors are more likely to see men who have those symptoms more often simply because they see more men with heart attacks. If a doctor saw 100 patients of each gender, they would more often see women with mild symptoms than men. Because on an individual level, women are more likely to exper…

Yes I did. Here is the original statement: As with men, women's most common heart attack symptom is chest pain or discomfort. Here is OP's reply: Somewhat more likely. Meaning, given the higher number of male heart attacks, there are probably more men who have those symptoms total than women who do. He has not repeated myths. For example you point out the "myth" regarding heart attack symptoms. His statements that women are more likely to have milder symptoms is true. That is true on an individual level for women, which was the topic. The other things you mention are also true, and don't refute the previous point. These ideas should have no problems coexisting. He isn't saying that they are more disadvantaged, he's just pointing out issues with women's health care. Its just like pointing out areas where men are disadvantaged isn't an attack on women. Testing on men as a baseline would disadvantage women. Does it mean it's a huge problem that needs to be resolved right the fuck now before anything else gets done? No. It's still an issue to be resolved. And don't forget the other important aspect mentioned, which was race and how bias affects outcomes, w…

He's not giving her shit for not wanting to fuck a bunch of random guys. He's giving her shit for saying that men only want sex and want it fast. She thinks that because she has filtered the men who are willing to wait, out of her mind. Presumably, because she doesn't think they're good enough. The men she does think are good enough, aren't willing to play games and wait. Hence, her predicament is a result of her own selectiveness.

What? The ERA is current. It is now. Literally only one more state needs to pass it and it is law. Democrats widely support it NOW.
/r/MensRights14/07/19 03:40 AM
1

Your main point is that you hate liberalism because liberalism stripped men of their rights. My question addresses your main point. When did men have these rights you're talking about. Which rights? The easiest way for you to answer is to pick a year. Then I can look things up and see if it makes sense. My assertion is that things were not better for men in the past. Maybe better for some men at the top, but not better for men as a whole.
/r/MensRights14/07/19 01:23 AM
1

The biggest thing is the push for the equal rights amendment. It would have made any gender based discrimination illegal. That would include things like the draft, genital mutilation, affirmative action. Everything. Democrats widely support this amendment. It was stopped by conservative women. It actually can still be passed. I believe only 1 more state needs to ratify it.
/r/MensRights14/07/19 12:53 AM
1

There's a lot to unpack there and can't possibly reply to all of it. Yes some of the problems were the fault of democrats and the left. Similarly some are also the fault of conservatives and the right. It seems like you think things were better for men in the past. Is there a time period you can point to as being the best?
/r/MensRights14/07/19 12:27 AM

Conservatives don't support mens right in any way either. That's why I'm saying its not political. There is no candidate that explicitly supports mens rights. Closest social Democrat is Andrew Yang who is openly against circumcision.
/r/MensRights14/07/19 12:02 AM
46

Please don't make this needlessly political. Mens rights is a mens issue not a left vs right issue. I consider myself a socialist Democrat. Yet, magically, I support mens rights and believe forced circumcision is genital mutilation.

That's why that is a bad retort. Preemptive mastectomy is an actual treatment for women with a high risk of breast cancer. As is removing any other body part with a high risk of killing you. There is, however, absolutely no reason to treat an infant for std's. An infant is not at risk for contracting an std.

Babies don't have sex. They don't need std protection. When he's old enough to have sex, he can wear a condom, and it won't involve surgically cutting off parts of his penis. Thats the retort to the std thing.

Western societies seem to believe that women are not violent or do not commit crimes. Reduced sentencing for women as compared to men and overwhelming evidence for gender parity in domestic violence with higher police records of male perpetrated domestic violence indicate that there is very much a view that men are "bad" and women are "good". They are male issues only in that they uniquely affect men. Men aren't responsible for raising other men, or their children. That responsibility lies with the family and the community. Men are an important part of that, but they are just one of the parts. Women have an equal responsibility. Men have an equal responsibility. Nobody is denying that people, including men, can do shitty things. Shitty things should not continue to occur. The ad is hated because it demonizes men, not because men don't want to be listened to and be able to express themselves and their issues publicly. With that logic you could post literally anything that applies to both sexes, as long as it is somehow related to an environment were men are discriminated against. I think this could be okay on a case by case basis. This post is a bit close to the cutoff though. Other good examples would be a post about how Florida has voted to return voting rights to felons who have served their time. It's gender neural, but it is a men's rights issue because most of those whose rights are affected are men.

I do agree that it happened due to patriarchy. After all, men earned all the money and went to work, women worked at home. Men had to pay for the first date because they earned external income. But now that is no longer the case. Men don't earn all the money, and don't want to pay for the first date, but women still expect it. Although this is actively changing. I don't think that's because of patriarchy. Women are a part of society, and society shapes expectations. There have been studies done which show that when men are benevolently sexist towards women, like paying for the first date, women like that and see those men as good and not sexist. When men don't do those things, women see that as sexism.

The word value is in there. And I'm not talking about changing market conditions. I'm talking about intentional legal deception. Like lying about your GPA, or your degree/ work experience for extra compensation. You're not creating any more value, but you are being compensated more.
/r/TheRedPill06/12/18 07:48 PM

What I'm getting at is that the market place can be manipulated to believe that your item is worth a variety of different values. The "correct" value ends up being dependent on who was more convincing. That's how you can end up finding a bargain, or getting ripped off, and this is something that is readily taken advantage of by market players. So you can produce value all you want, and then get ripped off. The end result being, that you produced something, and were not compensated accordingly, w…

Yes it is. I've had several surgeries. After nerves are cut, you will lose sensation. Then, over the course of about 6 months, nerves will grow several millimeters, potentially reconnecting, and if not, extending their reach just a bit giving sensation to scar tissue.

After circumcision, nerves will grow into the scar tissue so there will still be some sensation, and orgasm can still happen, but you do lose sensation. They say exactly the same things circumcised men say. It's kinda disturbing.

Well said. Just to add.. It is entirely possible to have a mentor style friendship with an older person. Its also possible to be actual friends if the maturity levels are similar even if the ages aren't. The problem is also that a lot of people can't seem to separate friendship and sexual relationship. You say, me and this 27 year old are friends, or me and this 16 year old are friends and all anyone seems to hear is "we're fucking, and I'm telling you about it"

You can be right and still lose because you are not in a situation where people are willing to listen to you or acknowledge your arguments for a variety of reasons. Social, political, religious, cultural etc.. Learn to recognize when it's better for you to say nothing and allow the situation to be forgotten.

Not that aspect. Even among male sex workers most of their clients are other men. I mean if the genders were reversed and most of the clientele were women and not men, I recon this seisure would not have taken place. The raid took place over moral outrage at men expressing their sexuality towards silicone. Which is the same moral outrage expressed at men who use sex toys. This moral outrage does not exist towards women.

This is somewhat of a meme at this point. Like if you go to r/motorcycles and see a video of a car backing up into a stationary motorcycle.. the top comment will be a sarcastic reply about how obviously the motorcycle driver was going way too fast and is the one at fault. Its a meme. The origin of the sarcastic reply you're replying to is an ad about how 25% of the homeless are women and urging immediate action to help them. Obviously ignoring the demographic that is in much greater need of that…
/r/MensRights14/09/18 05:11 PM

Have you seen that "25% of homeless are women! We need to help them!" Yeah. That would cause anger. Many women's programs tend to be like that. Domestic violence, rape, suicide. Help women. Don't give a fuck about men.

The problem is that workers have very little power on their own. If they don't have a job they will ultimately starve, and will do it much quicker than their employer. So the idea of not accepting employment contracts you don't like is valid, but is also very one sided. Someone who needs a job can't afford to be picky. That is something employers have taken advantage of. Sometimes to their own detriment, like high turnover, theft of intellectual property, whether it be production methods or cust…
/r/MensRights27/08/18 04:10 PM

Now we're into government mandate territory. There's lots of things that are mandated which can really be optional. Health insurance, overtime, right to unionize, safety standards. Why should they be mandated? Why not let an employer decide? Those things are mandated because they are considered essential. I believe parental leave fits that category and should be mandated. An employer should not have a say in it in exactly the same way they don't have a say in the other cases.

Honestly, I would expect a mature woman to call you out and make fun of you for it by treating you like a teenager too. Maybe you'll get your lunch packed in a brown paper bag. Consisting of a ham and cheese sandwich, an apple, and a note .. "Enjoy Sweetie! Love you! "
/r/TheRedPill21/08/18 06:33 PM
6

That's a very hard line reply. Women aren't children. If you treat them as such they will act like it. If you treat them as adults, where actions have consequences, they tend to actually act like adults. (Keeping in mind that all adults make mistakes, and nobody is perfect)
/r/TheRedPill21/08/18 06:03 PM
2

This is the wrong approach. Having children is essential to humanity. Firing people, specifically women for doing it, just shifts the burden of working to men, and places women at home to raise the kids. The correct approach is parental leave for both men and women when they have a child. This mostly equalizes the burden and lets both parents spend time with the child and get back to work quicker. If someone is child free, then they should receive benefits for never having taken their leave.

Now please tell me what the fuck rigging test scores based on sexist assertions has to do with socialism.

The question regarding female circumcision is incredibly relevant and not disingenuous. You are attempting to weasel out of a difficult question. By your logic it should be legal. Do you agree? And while it isn't the parents doing the cutting, that does not change the unnecessary nature of it. It is barbaric and I can't respect professional doctors who perform it. And yes, homeschooling, and private schooling, can yield diplomas. It is just the free public schools that become off limits.
/r/MensRights12/08/18 07:04 PM

You believe that citizens have a right to unnecessarily cut their baby children for any reason they like? Because that's what male circumcision is in nearly all cases. Additionally, female circumcision should also be legal by your logic. What if I don't like the clitoral hood on my baby girl? Should I just have a doctor cut that little piece of skin off? Regarding immunization, I don't think people should be forced into it, but given the risks to others, the current methods of preventing access …
/r/MensRights12/08/18 06:38 PM

There are some things that should be strictly legal or illegal because they are irreversible or have affects on others. Immunization is a good example. And circumcision is another one. There are limits to what you can do to your children after they're born. They are not your property to do with as you please even if a lot of parents think that's the case.

There is a contraceptive called vasagel which will be a gel injected into the tube leading from the testicles. The gel hardens and prevents sperm from passing. This lasts at least 10 years. When the man decides he wants to have children, an enzyme is injected which dissolves the gel, and returns his fertility. This has been successfully tested in apes for years and is moving to human trials.

No, the head of the penis is not the clitoris. The sensitive area is on the underside of the penis along a narrow string from where the foreskin connects to the head, extending about an inch back to the base of the shaft. Part of this is removed in many circumcisions, as the practice is not standardized in how much to remove. Some of this area will recover, but much will be lost. This is why circumcised men will report their circumcision scars as being the most pleasurable area. More pleasure do…

I just want to add that you don't have to be a narcissist because you're probably confusing narcissism with a healthy focus on your own goals and priorities. Focusing on yourself, pursuing your own goals, and making decisions that benefit you at someone else's expense (just not drastically so) is not narcissism. It is healthy. It's just that many men have been raised to be selfless and see any amount of focusing on yourself as being narcissism.

It's not just like a labiaplasty though. Its equivalent to removal of the clitoral hood and part of the clitoris. Having a nice hairline vs awkward balding at 17. Maxing out at 4'11''. Being obese. Showering once a month. Are worse than having crooked teeth. Having said that, you should work on all your issues at once and min max yourself.

Best place ive found is sala/bachata venues. Its a place for the sole purpose of interacting with others, because you have to dance with a partner. Things like solitary groups of friends, girls who only dance with each other, and couples are at a minimum. And you can usually identify couples by how much one of them is clutching on to the other. Find a girl, dance. If you still like her a minute or so in, tell her nonverbally by squeezing her hand. If she signals back, you're good to go. Make you…

Don't know why you're being downvoted. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion? "Friend zone" is just "I like talking and/or hanging out with you, but even though I'm available, I don't find you sexually (Physically) attractive enough to fuck you" zone. Girls get friend zoned by guys too, for being sexually unattractive. It is not at all a men's issue. Its more of a society/sexual education issue.

Many men do that too. They will be fat, balding with no potential, spending all their free time playing video games and think women should like them for who they are... but only pretty women.

If you can manage to eat nothing but beans for protein for 3 years up to 130g of protein per day i will eat my shorts. Otherwise i will stick to my multi flavored protein shakes which will be cheaper per serving that your likely mixed protein diet. I actually tried incorporating beans into my diet.. it didn't last long. Otherwise, i just use 2 or 3 protein shakes per day to get up to the number i need on any given day.

Yes. Because, and correct me if I'm wrong here, although the poster itself no longer exists, the idea that it communicates is still the majority opinion in popular media and even law. That men are always responsible, and women are always victims. As such, it should be discussed to death.

Partners are usually provided and are rotated every few minutes. Its a really good social activity sand a way to get comfortable touching people you don't know. Be aware, there will also be women there who are doing the same thing you are. That is, women who are just there to "touch boys". Because boys otherwise don't want to touch them for reasons they don't understand, but which you will. It is an oddly humbling experience.

I picked a girl up at Wendy's once when I was working as a cashier. She told me she likes guys in uniform. Do you really think a girl looks at a uniform and says "Damn that guy really works hard to help people, why don't I suck his dick so he knows I appreciate him.." ?

Also keep in mind that there are things you can do to change your looks. Regardless of if your looks are gimped because of nature or nurture, don't discount cosmetic procedures to improve your looks after you've done what you can by upgrading your style and your body. If most clothes don't look good on you after you're 12% bf ... It's probably your face and you're in denial.

Help me out here because I missed the part where they talk about how a change gender effects the perception of the accused. Seems like they're being treated similar to how a man would be when accused of rape. People just seem to accept it without reading past the headline.

To some extent, there does need to be some focus on directly going after what you want. Being qualified is one aspect. You still need to apply or be seen to be approached. I definitely agree that self improvement is an absolute prerequisite. You need to be good enough first. Otherwise you're just the creepy guy that makes all the women uncomfortable by virtue of them knowing you exist in a 20 ft radius.

Presumably, it is ultimately in their best interests to be conscripted, fight and potentially die, or fight and potentially survive and rebuild, than it is to be conquered. But that really depends on what the consequences of being conquered are. If the consequence of being conquered is death, then enslavement under conscription with the above possible two options is a better alternative. You would think in that scenario people would rise up and fight, but you cant always trust people to act rati…

Conscription is always needed. If there is a large war, and the sovereignty and existence of a country is at stake, and is dependent on having combat capable troops, where volunteers are insufficient, those troops will be drafted from the civilian population. That is an inevitable need that cannot be ignored.

Dude.. ballroom is awesome, and salsa is a ballroom dance! If you want to be truly good, and be a fantastic lead, ballroom is your friend. I've been doing it for 6 months and honestly it deserves it's own post. The ways you can apply being a good lead to things outside of dancing, like leading a girl to the bar, or to kiss you, or to your bed, or any damn else where you want is awesome. Leading is like asking without asking. If she wants to go, she will follow.

As I gain more experience, I find this more and more to be true. People's personalities are all different, but there are still a lot of AWALT traits. It really shouldn't come as a surprise that high value people, like other high value people. Guys want pretty, sexually adventurous, sociable women, and girls want handsome, fit guys who are socially capable and dominant when necessary. Everybody likes these people. They are desirable and get what they want, and can do what they want. That's where …
