I’ve got a dilemma between my ex and I. Because she has enough credits to graduate already, my daughter will be done with high school in December when she goes on Christmas break. However, she won’t officially graduate until June with the rest of her classmates. So from December until June she will just be working her job but still living at home with her mother. So she’ll be done with high school, just not officially “graduated”. She turns 18 in January. I say since she’s 18 and done with school I only have to pay support until her 18th birthday in January. She says I have to pay until June when she’s supposed to graduate because she will still be living at home. From January to June is about $3000 of support I’d love to not have to pay. I’m in Virginia if it helps. Anyone have an idea or know for sure? Any help is greatly appreciated.
