From a younger guy, thank you to everyoneWhat about only avoiding having kids? I think marriage without children (my case) is a decent compromise. Obviously if your partner is happy of not getting married then that's even better, but I feel 90% of the divorce-related issues are related to children. I share your feelings of gratitude for these subs, reading stories about divorce and other of the men's issues (false accusations, domestic violence, etc...) is quite good to help us navigate life! | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/22 10:38 PM

Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthI am not sure if I agree with the trend you describe. I think they do describe a (hopefully irrational) fear that many of us have, i.e. ending up in a apartheid-like society where we can be openly abused by increasingly-aggressive women without any protection. While this may be the feminist dream, I actually see that violence against men is getting discussed and dealt more in countries that are "ahead of the curve" (e.g. UK, north Europe) than in others. The bias on the media is infuriating, as … | /r/MensRights | 13/03/22 12:57 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthI am sorry you have been hurt, I guess you work in a female-dominated industry? I think for you reading about men's rights can indeed be even worse than for me, as I have never really been directly hurt by feminism. I think if I get victimised now, after having gained all this awareness, I would be much more mentally vulnerable than let's say 1 year ago. What you say about reporting bias is also true, we don't read the happy ending stories too much. In my case there is even some rage addiction, … | /r/MensRights | 12/03/22 10:07 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthThat's an interesting perspective! Yes, victimization is really something I need to avoid like the plague. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/22 12:41 PM

Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthAh yes, I saw that video about getting pissed with the sun :D Rich Cooper definitely played a role in making me detach a bit from the rage/victim/anxiety circle. | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 11:57 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthThank you! I scrolled through your posts and I almost got an anxiety relapse :D | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 11:48 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthI hope to be a good person, but honestly I have to admit that other issues don't seem to trigger in me one tenth of such emotional response (e.g.: treatment of Afghan women, migrants crossing the sea, war in Yemen, the horrors of North Korea, racism here in the West, economic inequalities, etc...). Yet, learning about men's issues caught me off guard quite badly. | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 09:52 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthThank you! Yep, better I take a break... | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 08:32 PM
Reading about men's rights has been really bad for my mental healthYes, I agree the discrimination against Ukrainian problem is indeed an injustice (like the whole war itself, obviously), and the way the media treat them is ridiculous. But thinking about them started affecting my mental processes quite badly. Basically when I see images of women in refugee camps in Poland, I am inclined to see "privileged" people that could escape their country because of their gender privilege. I realize it's a ridiculous view, and that I am in a much better position than thos… | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 07:56 PM
Is (permanent) alimony still a huge problem?Oh, that's quite bad, indeed. Thankfully it's for 7 years "only". How come the assets were split so unequally? Shouldn't be 50/50 split, even given that the children were adult? | /r/MensRights | 10/02/22 02:58 PM
Crazy double standard at urologistDoes this happen also when you go private? | /r/MensRights | 10/02/22 02:55 PM
Is (permanent) alimony still a huge problem?Oh that's good at least for childfree men | /r/MensRights | 09/02/22 03:57 PM
Is (permanent) alimony still a huge problem?well, child custody maybe, not necessarily alimony. Some of the old alimony horror stories didn't involve children, yet they seemed outrageous. | /r/MensRights | 09/02/22 03:54 PM
