This helps me so much! Whenever I get the feeling of wanting to text him (which is happening less and less), I read what I wrote about him. The feeling stops instantly.

I think the whole thing is fake though. How could she have time to cook 4-5 meals a day and barely manage to find the time to eat?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/20 08:25 PM
11

I don't see it that way. In this situation, it's not that weird for her to be talking about the amount of food she eats. However, I don't think English is OP's first language, due to a few weird errors in her text. So maybe the comments you find annoying, are just her clumsily putting her story into words.

humblebrag about how tiny the OP is and how little she eats and how she just can't ever finish a meal. Op literally said the opposite though? I don't really get a humble brag vibe. If it's fake, it's a completely made up story.

I'm glad you like it! :)

women do it to each other though. We don't. Not really. It's all to please the male gaze, as we've been taught our entire lives. We learn from a young age that our worth is directly linked to our beauty, so of course we don't like seeing other women being more beautiful, and thus 'more worthy'.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/12/20 12:32 PM

Right? It's all about women being 'competitive'. Like, sure, but WHY IS THAT🙄

This is very much true. Though, the time I was harrassed was when I was wearing a short red dress (I normally wear jeans). This is very circumstantial evidence, but I've been uneasy about wearing dresses late at night since.

Fake it till you make it. It's not only a catchy sentence, it's really helpful in situations like this one. For two reasons: People are really bad in their judgements on who's pretty and who's not. When we see someone acting like their awesome and pretty, we'll be very much inclined to believe they're awesome and pretty. So, acting confident will have others believing you're beautiful. When you behave like you're confident and you believe in yourself, it will send signals to your brain that will…

This has been said to her about a 100 times in the original thread, but she still doesn't really see the problem. Also, as one redditor pointed out, if they only had a big fight after the eviction (and not during the countless times this man screamed at night), the fact they only had three fights tells us that she puts up with a lot.

I had such high hopes for this girl leaving that absolute shitstain of a man, but then I read this comment: Despite his loudness, I really love him, lmao. It's also the first fight about something major we actually have, the only fights we usually have is about whatever or not water is a beverage or if God of War really deserved GOTY over RDR2, and I really don't wanna dump him over this. 😑

We typically switch to Standard English when around other races out of necessity. I didn't know that, but it makes so much sense. You're right, not a chance this story is real.

I feel attacked 😅 How many times have I written a post and then deleted it a few days after because my ex managed to gaslight me again.

Send a very short message containing 'this isn't working out' (just so he knows you're not dead and comes checking at your house), then block and delete. This guy is not worth your time.

I think the most important thing is that HE comes up with a new date. And of course, an apology is expected.

Hey! I don't know if this is exactly gaslighting you, looks more like blackmail to me. "I'm going to keep on publicly disrespecting you until you get those pics down" I do know what you should do though. This doesn't sound like a HVM at all (LVM tendencies are not a thing. There's only HV or not HV), and it doesn't sound like a healthy relationship either. I'm sorry.

When you read my comment again, you'll hopefully see that I'm not assuming a thing. I get that a few women here did nitpick on your friend, but in their defence, you just showed us a guy who built a fairly well made door and expect us to deem him HV right away. That's not how this works.

Girl, check out ContraPoints instead and maybe even read Nietzsche and greek myth like Apollo and Dionysis direct so you can better understand why Jordan Peterson is a fucking tool. I could go on and on. I did read those. But you have to listen to Jordan Peterson to know what he's saying, to know he's a tool.

Just saw the other comments. I don't know why OP is so willing to die on this hill (for another woman's man), while everyone here is just telling others to be cautious. It's not about this specific guy, it's about recognizing high value and low value.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/11/20 01:59 PM

Because he built a door, he could have any woman he wants? I hope we all know better than to deem someone HV because of one single act.

He proposed after a week but she only met his parents after TWO YEARS? Wtf kind of backwards thinking is this? Congratulations, you're married to a lovebombing, narcissistic Indian guy and will be reduced to cleaning lady /babysitter in no time.

He's the one that should feel ashamed, not you. You were loving a man despite him being unlovable, which says so many great things about you ❤ Learn from the experience and move on, don't ever think you have something to be ashamed of.

No, you don't. You really don't. If you need support, go to friends or family, but get the hell away from this lying bastard. He knows you need him and will never let you believe otherwise.

I know that that hurts, but it doesn't matter what the women look like. What matters is that he is one of those pervs online, and even worse, he is lying through his teeth to the woman he supposedly loves. I wish you all the luck in the world <3

Right? The comments are all about that while she is cooking his food in that very moment. But that is just what women really like to do, right? No need to be thankful for a woman cooking 🙄

This really is a hard pill to swallow. I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to not care about my appearance. Of course, looks are essentially redundant, but they make up such a great part of our lives. I'd love to hear some tips on caring a little less :)

Oh my god yes me too! I have been inhaling FDS these last couple of days, and am constantly reassured that this is the good path to take.

My first ex used to say that to me too. "Nobody's ever going to love you like I do". I mean, up until now, he was right. But I am loving myself now and that means so much more than the half-assed efforts of some scrote.

You (hopefully) already know the answer to this question. Don't ask him why, that is none of your business, just get the hell out of there. He is not good for you, and neither are his doubleteaming friends. There is no answer that will ever be satisfying. Please do yourself a favour and get new friends.

Yes!! So much this! I came to this conclusion once, when I complimented some guys arms, and he says; "what do you mean? They're just my arms? I use them for rock climbing, which is cool". This totally changed my perspective on body parts. They don't have to be pretty, or scar-free, or tall or short or fat or thin. Your body is here to help you. Thanks for reminding me :)

I'm so glad to hear that! Your post gave me some light as well :) It was a rough week (bf and I broke things off after 3 years), so I could use it.

Of course they can. But why do men always feel the need to share it? Not once have I looked at some hot guy and felt obligated to tell anyone, let alone my boyfriend. People can be attractive, no need to share it every time.

Broke up with the guy a few days ago (didn't want to marry me after three years), and my skin looks healthier than ever! My God, I've slept like a baby, already lost a few pounds, it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Okay time for.an update. We talked about it again, this time he laid all his doubts on the table. They were all bullshut. The last one was that he wanted to be able to have sex with multiple people, he wasn't ready to commit to one person yet. I'm proud to say I dumped him right then and there.

Thank you so much! I already feel better, now that I've made this decision. Do you think I should be the perfect girlfriend this week, to show him what he'll be missing? Or should I just not give a damn?

Thanks for the advice :) Unfortanetely, I did already tell him last night. I said that I want to be proposed somewhere in the next six months, and that otherwise, I see no other option but to leave him. His response? "I'll think about it" So. I am going to take a week to reflect on this myself, but I am definitely breaking up with him next weekend (unless he'll propose to me by then, but he won't). If you still don't know whether you want to marry me, you're not worthy. Too bad tho, he was just …
