I know, I know, we shouldn't be bothered by men who make you wait more than 3 years. But I did. My boyfriend (25M) and I (28F) just passed that time. We have been together for more than 3 years now and are living together for 2. We both just finished our master's degrees. He started with his residency in a near hospital a month ago (he's going to be a surgeon) and I just started working a 9-5 job as a teacher. So, I don't think it's that weird that he hasn't proposed yet, but I do want to get engaged in the near future.

He's a few years younger, and I don't think he saw himself married so young. But I've made my intentions about wanting to get married and get kids around my 30th very clear, from the start. Now that we're starting this new working life, I feel like the time has come. How should I handle this? I really don't want to be wasting my precious time (and precious eggs) with any man.
