My ex keeps suing me after final divorce agreement was executed in 2020.If you live in the same state in which the order is in for example, if your divorce was in New York, and you still live in New York , court will have to be in New York. Both parties would have to be out of the state (move) and the parent where the children reside can change jurisdiction. That how it is in most states. Other states Dont want to change things if they Dont have to. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/02/23 01:18 AM
My ex keeps suing me after final divorce agreement was executed in 2020.Does your custody agreement require you to pay for college? NJ will have to allow what is already in the custody agreement already. You can’t state shop after an agreement has been entered in a court. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/23 05:25 PM
I want divorce but my wife doesn't know. You better start the divorce sooner then later. You might wake up 8 years later and she files and takes half you retirement and alimony. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/09/22 02:37 PM

Well that did not go well for her. There is a book called “I hate you, Don’t leave me”. It breaks it all down. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 01/01/22 04:54 AM
Divorce is over…in therapyGo and get a no contact order and state that the ex can’t contact you, family members, and work ASAP. All you have to do is go down to the local magistrate. You can also call the local nonemergency police department number and they can give you guidance on how to achieve one. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/08/21 01:03 AM
| -10 | Bill and Melinda Gates divorce after 27 years of marriageYou guys do know that he has Parkinson’s disease. He has said some crazy stuff in the not so distant past that seems out of touch with reality. Edit: damn the down vote brigade. Clearly you don’t know the type of relationship that them to had. I was just pointing out one thing. Just the other day Bill was talking about blocking out the sun (Chemtrails)for climate change. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/21 04:39 AM |

Letting goI’m curious as to why your attorney would think this is ok. Any attorney that I had said anything about playing alimony would have been shit canned. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/04/21 02:50 AM
Can I call the police if my ex’s mother refuses to give our daughter to me or hides / lies about her location?HA HA HA HA... Really, MIL is violating sections (1) and (2)..... Did you not read the OP's statement. The MIL is hiding (concealing) the child which she has no legal right to withhold from the father.. the MIL has no rights.. She (MIL/grandparents) is considered a stranger in the eyes of the court. Like I stated before, grandparents have no right to withhold a child from the parent with no court order... (that means no fking rights).... | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/21 09:57 PM
Can I call the police if my ex’s mother refuses to give our daughter to me or hides / lies about her location? He can charge the MIL with kidnapping. He the father goes over to the residence and demands his child, the MIL will has to give he child to the father if the mother isn’t present. Facts. Doesn’t matter what the mother says there is no court order establishing anything with the child. If the mother isn’t present, then the father is the only parent at the situation and the cops will force the mil/ grandparents to hand over the child. I have personally charged a MIL for kidnapping when she was refu… | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/21 05:54 PM
Can I call the police if my ex’s mother refuses to give our daughter to me or hides / lies about her location?Clearly what you’re not understanding, yes the mother can leave the child with the grandparents but the grand parents cannot deny the biological father/husband the child. If the cops show up, and the mother is not present, then grandparents would have to relinquish the child to the biological father, because the grandparents have no rights. You know custodial rights, and yes you can charge the grandparents for fucking kidnapping. You’re withholding a child from the parent. There’s also a thing c… | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/21 03:02 PM
Can I call the police if my ex’s mother refuses to give our daughter to me or hides / lies about her location?Doesn’t matter. Yes you can charge the mother in law with kidnapping if she refused to give the child to the bio dad. Grandparents have no legal rights to grandchildren unless it’s in a court order. If no court order then you can charge the grandparents for kidnapping. (Fact) | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/21 03:51 AM
Can I call the police if my ex’s mother refuses to give our daughter to me or hides / lies about her location?Your wife’s mom, doesn’t have any legal right to the child. In fact, you could call the cops and have the mother in law charged with kidnapping. You need to also get something in the courts that establishes a visitation schedule ASAP (like a temporary order). Other wise you have no real visitation nor anything that establishes custody. Make sure when you go to court, you show the courts that your ex has already shown that she will cause problems with visitations. I’m a man that has sole custody … | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/04/21 01:44 PM
The Pendulum must swing backThis was in VA. I was the only income, the mother was playing that I was abusive, and I proved that if the child lived with her, she would cause a problem in my ability to maintain a relationship with my child. This was back in 05. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/20 01:08 AM
The Pendulum must swing backTrust me I know. I got sole custody of my child, wife got nothing in the divorce, and she is to pay me child support. My ex wife would file all kinds of crazy stuff and nothing would stick. You just have to lean to play the game better then they are. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/20 12:01 AM
*Rant* Being charged to have my support removedMy child’s mother pays me child support and every year, I have to pay $25 to Child support enforcement. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/07/19 02:59 PM
