I worked at a popular ice cream place that had a lot of regulars. One of the regular couples would regularly proposition me and a coworker for a threesome. It was so gross and completely uncalled for- he would often say he came in for something sweet and settled for the ice cream instead 🤢

Honestly, I’ve really been struggling lately. For a long time, I was secure in being single and knowing my value. Then, I redownloaded OLD and actually found my high school crush. We ended up meeting up because we were at adjacent bars and talked for like three or so hours. This was last weekend. This weekend, we had made loose plans to go out for an actual date. When I reached out about it, he said to be honest he just wanted to be friends and I was cool with that. The next night, the same thin…

A guy took me out for drinks. We walked down the block while we waited for our table to be ready. During that time, we already ran out of things to talk about. Then he called me STOCKY. First and foremost, rude. Secondly, I'm a shorter girl (5'4) but I have never been referred to as stocky. Overall, just super condescending and we had absolutely nothing in common.

Was just broken up with and for the first time EVER, I didn’t try to defend myself or try to fight it. He didn’t understand how lucky he was, that’s his loss. 💅🏼

I am that intimidating woman- the type that is described as "bitchy" and "outspoken." Growing up, a lot of my friends who found boyfriends quickly told me that if I just was a little nicer, less opinionated, I would find the man of my dreams. It took YEARS for me to get over this mentality. I am a strong woman who has opinions and is no longer afraid to share them, no longer scared to speak up in discussions. Even now, I have some co-workers that say meetings would just go quicker if I kept my o…

I've actually had the opposite happen to me. When I was in high school/early college, I was very skinny with a big butt and a generally great physique. My girl and guy friends made a lot of remarks about how it didn't make sense for girls like me to be single. That kind of tanked when I was a senior and seriously depressed. No longer was I the girl that people wanted to be with and it SHOWED. I even had one of my guy friends ask if I had any single friends for a man who is exactly my type. It's …
