OP comments in the last update: Word has spread that my ex and I broke up so I have some girlfriends that want to hang out this summer. I think I will have dates. Plus I have been saving money for this car that I will probably get very soon. It has no upholstery but looks nice other than that. My older sister said she'll pay for the upholstery. So that will help a lot with dating. This 17-year old shows promise.

The other side of the story: https://medium.com/p/d96f431f4e8e Around the end of 2012, Julie started dating a close male friend of the cofounder’s wife and didn’t like that they were close. She asked them to stop being friends and when they would not end their relationship, Julie started telling coworkers that the wife had affairs and that the cofounder’s newborn child was not his. She told this to multiple coworkers directly and also to the wife through her boyfriend. This is where the wife rea…

Blue Jasmine - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2334873/ Good Woody Allen film about a post-wall woman. Cate Blanchett is brilliant in it (will probably win the Oscar too). It has been mentioned in a couple of posts here at TRP.

I would very much doubt the cuddlyfuck stuff keeping her hooked if the guy was not a "tall, muscular, good-looking man" who "had a 'cool' look about him, with a black leather jacket, earring, dragon tattoo, and Harley Davidson boots". Everything indicates that this is an inadvertent alpha. Edit: typos.

Of course there would be no name calling, shaming, witch hunts, as the point of this discussion would be progress, and not necessarily victory. . . . and then: Wife banned from SRSFeminism for asking for their participation. Such childish nonsense. What the hell did you expect OP?

It is a generalisation, yes, but not an overgeneralisation. As with any generalisation, there are exceptions, and when it comes to 8 billion individuals there are bound to be plenty. We can consider these to be cultural or social constructs rather than biological and the generalisation would still reflect the reality of our times. It explains how things are, not how they ought to be.

There's no demonising here. We love sluts. A slut is only low-value from a relationship point of view (i.e. a bad investment for an LTR).

Not Indian, but South Asian. You're spot on (though I'm yet to be called a monkey, perhaps due to my shaven face). The majority of my partners have not been from my country.

Not OP but commented below, I'm from South Asia. People very rarely take antidepressants here, but then again, perhaps they have bigger problems than depression.

You're probably right. US ranks #1 for depression: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epidemiology_of_depression#By_country The federal government’s health statisticians figure that about one in every 10 Americans takes an antidepressant. And by their reckoning, antidepressants were the third most common prescription medication taken by Americans in 2005–2008 http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/astounding-increase-in-antidepressant-use-by-americans-201110203624 Edit: typo

He was an acquaintance of hers and similar I guess to the guy we met on vacation fitting the "stud" stereotype, very athletic/ripped, etc., but good for this because he's not looking for a relationship. It's probably more about white knighting than anything to do with caste. Using 'sir' is quite common in Indian English.
/r/TheRedPill27/07/13 05:21 PM

Middle-class India is full of white knights who think that putting pussy on a pedestal is the way of gaining access to it. Something to do with their ultra conservative culture (which, incidentally, is a byproduct of colonialism - we are talking about the country that produced Kamasutra and Khajuraho, after all).

People don't hate TRP because it's so controversial that it pisses everyone off. I have seen plenty of debates on other subs where TRP guys (most notably redpillschool) has been nothing but civil and still get downvoted to hell. We'd be deluding ourselves if we think that this stuff doesn't piss off the average reddit user. As for TRP guys "acting like assholes about it", there's probably some correlation between the two. Dark triad and all that.

As he [her new boyfriend] pointed out other prominent women in the audience, I realized the kind of social world I'd been living in: The females who populated it were the young wives and girlfriends of wealthy men, or the personal assistants who catered to them. Women disappeared after some point in their 30s, and any female ambition other than looking beautiful, shopping, and overseeing the domestic realm became an inconvenience. i.e. Justine Musk pondering the wall.

It is a well known fact in these circles that, from a biological perspective, women are the more valuable sex, exactly for the reason you mention in your post: reproduction. Exactly what does each gender offer each other? Look beyond the financial and sexual benefits and you'll find that people value such things as relationships and intimacy. Civilisation wasn't built upon single motherhood. Whether it will be in the future, and how successful that experiment would be, remains to be seen. There'…

Hmm, initially I was going to disagree with you but you do have a point. The critical part for this female sexual strategy to succeed is you have a provider partner lined up to take care of you and baby which is exactly where slut shaming comes in. It's a social mechanism to protect against the 'beta bux' phenomenon. Women who disregard this deeply ingrained male aversion to support bastard children are shooting themselves in the foot. From OP: I hope that none of you will buy into the load of s…

Besides, men are never held to these standards so why should women be? You're probably female and have no idea of what it takes for a man to have multiple partners as opposed to a woman. Also, what's wrong with slut shaming? From Heartiste: Women seem to think that men are too thickheaded and inattentive to identify which of them are cockgobbling cumguzzling sluts. Or they prefer to believe their sly poses of innocence and white lies are good enough to keep men in the dark about their sexual his…

That would depend on the cultural context (e.g. the stereotypes associated with the racial group, whether they are a minority in the given environment etc.) Nonetheless, red pill theories would be no less (or more) applicable to them than others. They are relevant at a primal level.

Gender is certainly a risk factor in Western acedeme. Now the minority (35%) of those attending college and university, young often arrive on campuses that are unwelcoming. Until fairly recently an atmosphere unlike that at the elementary level, where for many decades boys have been treated as defective girls, the undergraduate classroom today is typically a place where young men sit quietly. Male-positive pedagogic approaches to engaging college-age men are identified that depend not on the sex…

Yes, the red pill is colour blind. Generally speaking, the more feminized a society is, the more difficult it would be for men to "establish a healthy collective identity specifically as men". Refer: Misandry and Emptiness: Masculine Identity in a Toxic Cultural Environment

It's great to see academic interest in male studies, given how feminized the social sciences are now. They've been publishing since early 2012 but this is the first time I heard about it.

In sober moments free of maudlin introspection, you will understand there is no other game to play save this one. This is why to live as a man is to TAKE what you want. Not to wait for it to be given to you. Because it will never be given. Not to anticipate the empathy of the overseers. Because they will never empathize. Not to expect the coddling of the crowd. Because they will never coddle. Not to assume the wagon circling of kindreds. Because they will never circle for you. You got the short …

It's absurd say that PUAs don't have wide-ranging pursuits - the PUA stuff is just one aspect of their personalities. Check out Roosh's latest post, for example: the guy is actively looking for new challenges.

I don't think anyone was disputing hypergamy, but these are the consequences of women sticking to their "463 bullet point check list" (a la Heartiste) as their DMV goes down. Complaining about not being able to find a good man, after she has already looked over effin' Hill Harper, is what is absurd, and you can see her regret there.

Denying sex becomes an easy way for men to let you know who’s boss. [...] And in the classic fashion of those with privilege, they played the victim, changed the rules, and refused to give the thing they had the power to give. In this case, sex. This woman badly needs to get laid to realign her cognitive faculties. Judging by her photo, she needs to lose some weight too.
