It's so damn fitting you call it "the red pill"...I don't know how to begin to describe it. Reading the sidebar and all the info here has given me a completely different outlook on women, and my entire life. I know I still have a lot more growing to do, but I'm very thankful for this subreddit, all the great reading material in the sidebar, and the intelligent community who is willing to engage in conversation. If you, redpillschool, didn't call my ass out...who knows how much longer I'd be stuck as a bitter white knight. Shit, just a few days ago I was PROUDLY calling myself a white knight, willing to fight for the "greater good" til I was dead...

I kept telling myself that I must do the right thing, treat everyone with respect, compassion and empathy and that someday I'd find the right woman that would treat me right. Spending just 5 days here has helped me realize how that path lead to nowhere, and how foolish I was to walk it for so long. While doing the right thing is still important, I realize now how much damage I've done to myself, and my potential as a human being as I've been stuck in this mindset that "women date jerks, and I'm such a good guy." I think I have a much better understanding of where you guys are coming from now. It's like everything I felt was just under the surface that I was too afraid to explore, has come into light. I have some self-reflection and meditation to do...

See here it is. Shaming language to dissuade open discussion based on your moral compass, not everybody's.

Frankly, every single interaction you have with somebody is a form of manipulation. Your goal is in communicating with them is to convey information and change their mind or cause them to act on something.

Even this sentence is a form of manipulation.

"Douche" is an empty term that serves no purpose but to try to stifle men from trying pickup for fear that they may be labeled "douche" themselves. Nobody wants to be hated, so wielding this weapon is surprisingly effective at quashing motivation.
