| 118 | Couldn’t we just vote instead?Same cringe as those "destroy my pussy, not the planet" posters. We (as in young women) got groomed by media etc into being proud of objectifying and sexualizing ourselves. This is not empowerment, this is brainwashed-by-patriarchy shit. Edited:planet not "plant" | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/12/19 01:43 AM |
| 6 | TrappedIt seems to me he either has deep issues he does not want to work on (e.g. depression) or is too coward/afraid to break up with you. You are worthy of love. I hope you love yourself! He seems to neither be able to love himself, nor someone else. Please do not try to fix him, you are not a therapist and it is more likely you will get more and more hurt if you try to fix the relationship (while he does not care). | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 10/12/19 02:10 PM |
| 6 | TrappedHey, first of all you've come far and overcame many obstacles and hardships already, which certainly required a lot of strength. In your situation, I would try to seek out women you can maybe flatshare with, and female friends and allies in general. I would try to fight against the isolation and seek female solidarity (which you are already beginning to do, posting here!). I would drop my unsupportive and uninvested partners ass, as soon as I have a female support net. I whish you the best. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 10/12/19 02:05 PM |
| 81 | When your male friend treats women like shit. When your male friend treats other women like shit, drop him and shame him. Female solidarity over "friendships" like those. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 07/12/19 05:52 PM |
| 2 | Men telling you about their trauma?I had a guy tell me he was beaten up by other guys for defending a girl. We were talking about pornography prior, and I said any man who watches porn is part of the problem, he then said how he personally "only watches porn by sexworkers he knows and he pays for porn". But I told him idgaf, especially bc his sexworker friend he told me about, has trouble finding any other job to pay her bills. But telling me about he did stand up for women in the years in past definently gained him some sympathy… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 06/12/19 04:16 PM |
| 211 | A guy who I briefly talked to a few years ago shared this. Funny thing is, he kissed me at a party and then went downstairs and started making out with another girl and I caught him. Now all he does is complain on social media...mostly about women. The best is when a woman drops an LVM right after his first fuck up. No need to drag on with guys like that, they are time-wasters and it will only hurt you emotionally the longer you invest your time in them. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 05/12/19 02:45 PM |
| 50 | I'm a pick me.. I feel horribleHi, maybe it would help you to cancel out all men from your life? Then you have to focus on yourself, please get your self esteem up, by doing what you enjoy or trying new hobbies(?). Do you have irl women friends you can talk to, that can support you? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 07:56 PM |
| 1 | Wife makes hubby center of her universe. Gives up friends, moves for his career, doesn't work, becomes SAHM. Hubbs wants to abandon her & child to "sleep with as many women as possible", is already cheating. DON'T MAKE A MAN THE CENTER OF YOUR UNIVERSE! AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!I have empathy for her. Her situation is bad, how is saying that is privilege? I thought opression is not competition? I feel bad because saying you struggle(d) to find sympathy for some one is apparently the same as bashing them. If I would not have disclosed this, the other commenter may not have shared her story that lead me to be able to emphatise more. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 05:31 PM |

AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!I have sympathy for her. Also in my first post. I just stated it was hard for me to empathize, but after reading more personal accounts I definetly can empathize more. I whish this woman well, and I think she deserves support regardless if it was her choice or her "falling into the trap". | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 03:39 PM |

And I empahtize with all abused women, and I whish them all strength. I think they don't have to be forever victims. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 03:35 PM |

AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!How did I lash out? I said in a commenf I can empathize with her, now that I read the personal experience of another commenter. I am not believing I am "somehow perfectly immune" to anything, but I think we women do not have to be "once an victim, always an victim". How is that mindset helping? Denying women have agency and choice is not exactly feminist. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 11:15 AM |

I came here writing I struggle(d) to find sympathy for her but that I whish her a lot of strength and help with therapy etc. Now many of you struggle to empathize with me, and thats fine. But I am certainly not blaming women for the abuse they suffer, I just think that we have to acknowledge womens capabilities as well. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 11:11 AM |

AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!I did have neither and still am able to tell situations are bad. But I have to agree I encountered many men who saw in me an easy victim, and I was an easy victim too (because I thought I deserved it). Therapy and meds helped me, but in the end I make the choices and the decisions, not my past. I seeked help and therapy, not someone else for me. I don't think it is helpful to blame every poor life choice and/or mistake an adult makes on the childhood, and I never denied that it can play (even a … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 12:32 AM |

Hubbs wants to abandon her & child to "sleep with as many women as possible", is already cheating. DON'T MAKE A MAN THE CENTER OF YOUR UNIVERSE! AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!Well, I come from an abusive family as well (a pedophile and violent alcoholic father, had to witness sexual abuse and incest) and I did find it a bit insulting that you say people like me wander through life immature and with limited reasoning skills till "they find a gentle and safe space growing up". My abusive past does not define me, my childhood does not define me and me being raped later in life does not define me. I am more than that, and I have agency and ability to reason. I am not jee… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 02/12/19 12:05 AM |

Hubbs wants to abandon her & child to "sleep with as many women as possible", is already cheating. DON'T MAKE A MAN THE CENTER OF YOUR UNIVERSE! AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!Yeah, I agree that having an abusive family is definetly making life harder, but it was her decision and choice to become a SAHM with no work experience/ skill, coming from an abusive past is an possible factor/explanation but its not the direct cause. Many serial killers also come from an abusive past (and some have mental ilness), but they chose to become killers. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/12/19 11:14 PM |

AND DAILY REMINDER TO TAKE ZERO SHIT FROM MEN!That is just sad and I have to admit I struggle a bit to find sympathy for her. Leaving college to marry? Giving up being able to care for yourself and your kids and live in the shadow of your husband? That was her choice. And I hope she will now learn to stand on her own feet and get help with therapy and be able to support herself. I whish her strength, a lot of it. Edit: so somehow it was not her choice to leave college to marry, she suffered childhood abuse so she has no agency for her actio… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 01/12/19 11:01 PM |
| 18 | Should I give up before even starting? Please do not engage with him further, female solidarity is more important here (even if you do not know her) and he cheated on his ex, he will cheat on you too. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/11/19 08:15 PM |
