Well yeah I understand that. But everyday women use makeup too, and claim it's because they have too, when honestly sometimes men can't even tell who has makeup on and actually don't like it too much. Short guys are most definitely not screwed. I know shorter than average guys who are doing just fine. Definitely is not any kind of an advantage, though, at least in mating. Posture > Height though. Sorry for the confusion, but you answered perfecto. About the Alpha-thing though, I read a study not too long ago which talks about the difference between wolves and dogs. In a wolfpack the ALpha is the strongest wolf, in a feral dog pack the alpha is the one with the most friends in the group. If an alpha male was the strongest, but secretly the 10 other guys didn't like him, but where all friends witht he number 2 guy, would the number 1 be alpha for long? Off topic but just a thought.
