She says she owns the house in the comments. She also whines about how they reacted, so a reasonable person would conclude that she doesn't understand the exact nature of the wrong.

You said you are trying to figure something out. Let's keep it about you, not me. Can you imagine your bare naked landlord walking through your living room, entering your kitchen that you pay rent for, and grabbing a drink? Do you think even a gay male would prefer that look?

Yes there is a difference between groping someone and pretending to grope someone. Leann Tweeden groped someone.....many someones. Al Franken pretended.

Hmmm....this got me curious. Where I used to live in New Jersey, they record hearings and transcribe them later. I just tried to call the San Diego Court to answer this question, but their hours are only between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. It's after hours already and it's not even 1:30 pm. Edit: Here's the official website about it and this article appears to be correct.

One day old account claims to have gotten a recording, a counselor from the school victim's office and full advice from a lawyer in under an hour on an early Tuesday morning, all while having time to reminisce on reddit about sharing a bed with 2 brothers growing up. Flaming, trolling, witch-hunting. There's a lot of information out there that can help you better understand these subjects that I can help you here. There's even a separate section called rule 3 in the sidebar of /r/videos that go on and on about that, too. Hope it helps. If it doesn't, that's okay. Having a little mystery in your life can be a good thing.
/r/MensRights06/08/16 12:06 PM

I've seen a lot of comments under and about that video, but I haven't really seen much talk about the content of the video. Just calls to action to give a big fuck you to the mods of /r/videos because they are being consistent with their number one rule that was posted on the sidebar for OP to read many months before so much drama unfolded.
/r/MensRights06/08/16 11:55 AM
-2

I believe it is the flaming that they are seeking to prevent. If you fully read the sidebar, you would know that many other non men's rights issues are removed, as well. If a video is not reported to them as controversial, they won't know to report it.

Domestic abuse is about power. Men's rights is a political cause. Many solutions to the problems that arise from domestic abuse and the disparities between male and female availability of assistance with problems that arise from domestic abuse are to be sought from law-making organizations. How is it an exaggeration, really? "Across a room" doesn't have a spatial component. The size of the room makes no difference. She was whipped around a significant amount of space within a room. If it were the room I'm in now, you would have no problem with the phrasing. At least you don't deny being smug.

Great technique you have. Call me delusional then say there's no evidence of assault or battery when there's video and your own sources admit she was battered. Now about that negativity bias google search....
/r/PussyPassDenied15/04/16 04:43 PM

/r/PussyPassDenied15/04/16 04:29 PM

If she was such a problem, he should have asked the security guard to remove her instead of grabbing her and forcefully moving her several feet. The video shows that Lewandoski's body exhibited the effects of battery on another when he put his hands on her.

/r/PussyPassDenied15/04/16 04:06 PM

/r/PussyPassDenied15/04/16 03:59 PM

It was a crowded room. Everybody was close together. If she shouldn't have been doing something, it was the secret service's job to deal with it, not a campaign manager with a history of abusing people. Enjoy your attention seeking karma. Edit: Video linked already in the thread here.

She was whipped back several feet by that guy for no reason. If she was a security threat, the Secret Service guy who was between her and Lewandowski would have done his job. Edit: considering the size of the room, "across the room" is a poor choice of words , so you smug grammar-nazis are going to have to find another way to bury me.

It's perfectly reasonable to believe that she wasn't done attacking him, so slapping her could be, hypothetically, appropriate, but like others have said, there's got to be lots more context. All the best to everyone.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/10/15 09:17 AM

To be truthful, he warned her and slapped her at the same time...so that wasn't a warning. It's kind of a gray area. She probably wasn't done, so I think he should get away with it, but I doubt the police would deny her the pussypass. I wonder if a bookie would be willing to put odds on whether he gets charged or not, what they might be.

If I have an experience that is mildly similar to the rape that happened to me, I often can't calm down for an hour or more. Sometimes it triggers panic attacks that happen for as long as six days. This person has so much contempt for real victims, I cannot even speak. Someone who repeats the same stories over and over again is a liar. I almost said skilled liar, but nobody is letting this one get away with it.

The Men's Rights subreddit is a place for those who wish to discuss men's rights and the ways said rights are infringed upon. Generally, men are the ones court ordered to go to Anger Management programs that, as it says around 14:10, have no national standards. Many other aspects of Anger Management are bullshit as well. Bullshit is something commonly said when people say when their rights are infringed upon. I hope that this alleviate your "concerns".

It really doesn't read like a person deranged enough to go on a rampage. There's no indication of how Sarkeesian or feminists ruined "his" life specifically. Furthermore, I don't believe any actual man would take seriously a concept called "fantasizing about being men," much less obsess about it so much "he" would actually hurt somebody over "his" inability to do whatever the heck that is.

While the men’s rights movement and the women against feminism are quick to point to the apparent misandry of women talking about their experiences of street harassment or sexual violence I wonder why this is the only paragraph, besides the introduction, that doesn't have a hotlink to a source. Not really. That was a rhetorical kestion.

I am a man and the victim of childhood sexual abuse. I forgave my abuser a long time ago. The systematic marginalization of me and my brothers' experience because of our gender is just about the only thing that's unforgivable because how can you forgive something that is omnipresent and takes all sides on every issue? You can't. That's called power. That's called evil. See Alain Badiou. See also M. Scott Peck.

SEX OFFENDER REGISTRIES DON'T WORK EDIT: i was going to add a whole list of critical articles about the sex offender registries, but really you should just google "sex offender registries don't work" and "megan's law effectiveness". there is so much research, but no politician will listen to it. :-(

Just two weeks ago, the speaker of the New Jersey assembly introduced a bill proposing a domestic violence registry. It's just a matter of time before it spreads exponentially.

the letter is not actually about domestic violence against men. It advocates more for laws against false allegations. The editors who chose the title just doesn't get it. No surprise.

I just got off the phone with Asm. Gusciora's office today: (609) 292-0500. The legislation was introduced yesterday, though the aide was having difficulty finding the exact number of the bill. Apparently, they want to upgrade strangling to the level of aggravated assault too.

yes, and further down again: Men who rape do so because they cannot find a consenting sexual partner. False. Studies suggest that most rape offenders are married or in consenting relationships. ... the father brought the application, the father was denied the mother had nothing to do with this action the mother and father don't even live together anymore it would be "vital" to report that too then it would be "vital" to report a lot of other things that need explanation if your'e so interested, then go to Easton and do as much investigation as you want it's not a reporter's job to fulfill your every desire it's his or her job to fill 250 words
/r/MensRights12/07/13 06:48 PM

there are many many things that are "absolutely relevant," but the author does not have enough space to write a book. anyway, mentioning that the mother is also involved in an accusation of child abuse is an unnecessary distraction in an AP headline story that is 250 words or less i bet you disagree, but that's ok

i didn't say he was "sexual". i said he was "sexualized". i probably should have said "being sexualized" to be clearer: as in something called sexualization is happening to him by the HuffPo blogger and the redditor mother who said he is "checking them out" and "has a thing for older women" sorry and thanks

Last month, as he prepared to shutter his shelter, he said that when he’d left his marriage two decades earlier, he was frustrated not merely by the lack of services for men, but the default narrative of male-as-abuser. and how does this demonstrate that his troubles were not caused by the default narrative of male-as-abuser? it's terrifying if you don't know there are options i just suggest that he and anyone else learn about charity care for hospital stuff if it's for just a screening and exams and stuff, then i don't know, but there are more options than you know if you don't investigate that's all i meant

There's going to be a "Mock Sexual Assault Trial" in my college town tomorrow. Centenary College, Hackettstown, Northwest New Jersey. Anybody want to come? More details here: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/1bz8ni/a_mock_sexual_assault_trial_is_being_held_at_the/

There was a real trial for a rape and murder that really did take place on the campus of centenary college in1886. The yellow journalists back in the day really proved to be the "white knights" of their time. An innocent janitor served 19 years in jail for it. His wife died a month before he got out. The real killers got away. My father's close friend wrote the book about it. It's mostly just a local story now. People still say Tillie's ghost roams the halls. Nobody even thinks the janitor didn'…

it's being sponsored by the women's center at Centenary College this Thursday i am totally curious to see what is going to happen the college's best asset is the theater, but it is dominated by the "women's playwright series". as an actor myself, it makes me sick. why can't they just do plays? classics and new things that don't have such an ideological bent to it i also went to a poetry symposium there a few years ago. i got to sit at a table with some impressive contemporary poets, but that too…

Today is the 50th Anniversary of the Gideon v. Wainwright decision. It's a very inspirational movie with Henry Fonda as Clarence Gideon, but even at that time I knew - from personal experience - that the right to a public defender does not apply to all, especially since VAWA moved violent crimes between domestic partners to the family courts, where the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard of proof does not apply.

the problem isn't discrimination against who it protects, the problem is that it discriminates against people who are merely "accused" of domestic violence. it purports to be protecting "victims" against "abusers" without allowing the due process of law to determine exactly who is a victim and who is an abuser. since complaints of this nature are moved from criminal court to the family court system, the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard is replaced by the much less stringent "preponderance of…

In every case I ever read about, a man being lied to about age was never successfully used as a mitigating circumstance well, maybe it should be successful, every criminal law i have ever heard about requires that they be "knowingly" or "purposely" violated for a prosecution to be successful
/r/MensRights28/02/13 04:06 AM

/r/MensRights28/02/13 04:01 AM

did i say that? besides, the judge isn't there to decide what is right or wrong, the judge is there to decide whether a law was broken. if she didn't know she was breaking the law because he lied to her, then that is a mitigating factor.
/r/MensRights28/02/13 03:46 AM

when i first saw this a few months ago, i was almost about to write to the judge, but then i saw that it takes Judge Kouris's comment out-of-context: "If this were a 29-year-old male and a 17-year-old female, I would be inclined to order some incarceration," said 3rd District Judge Mark Kouris during Patch's sentencing hearing. "Why is this different than that?" Defense attorney Jon Williams explained that the boy not only initiated the sexual tryst, he lied to Patch by telling her he was 18 yea…

The Men's Rights subreddit is a place for those who wish to discuss men's rights and the ways said rights are infringed upon. the subreddit is not just a place to discuss how things are harming men's rights

I live in an area where there are a lot of old buildings with old doors without very fancy locks or fancy automatic door closers. that is strange about the key cards. I know it's not just me. This phenomenon is real. I don't care how many downvotes I get.

yes, propped open. sometimes one particular door I am thinking of is propped open by a stop attached to the door and one of those wedges too. i'm glad I posted this here. it makes me feel weird. I get obsessive about my privacy maybe more than most men because I have been raped and I also have Asperger's syndrome, which affects my sensory perception of stuff. the answers I have gotten here have helped me start thinking that it's just a matter of gender difference, not some grand conspiracy

no, all the time i notice it at churches, certain restaurants and older stores. if the door doesn't have an automatic closer thing, this phenomenon happens a lot. they are either left open or propped open while women's restrooms are shut i have also noticed that if one bathroom is closer to a door or public area than another, it tends to be the men's room

why do you think i am incapable of judging what is an "actual worthy post" ? that's the third time you have mentioned my "inability" or "failure" to be intelligent enough for you perhaps you should start your own board where only members who are at your level of sheer brilliance are permitted to comment
