How old is that video. Karen straughn hasn’t released a new video in a while. She has a good video of her doing a Q & A. I forget where it was. There was a young female blaming men for all her problems and Karen shut that down

He retaliates and everything she did up until the end is negated. Because "men should never hit women, no matter what" . I was at the local water park and i heard a woman tell this to a child no older than 3-4. The girl did something to the boy and the mother basically said to the little boy " shes a girl, what do you want me to do"... glad that isn't my child.

I wouldn't stop the process even if you could. Even if you were to smooth things out. there will always be this cloud of divorce looming over. Divorce and kids sucks hard. My son was very young when it happened so it will just become normal for him. How old are your children? Any divorce where there are children involved is so very unfortunate. I still blame no fault divorce. I live in a state where it exists. I also blame the ease which you can married. Should be inverse. Marriage should be sup…

Just because other people have it, they should just over the fact they are kissing a child on the lips with something that can be spread as simple as kissing on the lips. Not to mention the long term implication of kissing a child on the lips.

They say Andrew Tate because he tells people to take responsibility for their actions. He has said some interesting things in the past (women are a man's property), but he has since moved on from that. Alot of what he says, others say as well. I think if you put Tate and Jordan Peterson in a Venn diagram, there would be quite alot of overlap. I think if anyone else would say what Tate says, he would be praised.

I get that. But if she wanted it, then she should have practiced what she now wants. I never got to formally meet the two women my ex dated. Heck they met our son about a month into dating. I waited over a year.

ehh not worth the headache for me to do that to her. My kid would suffer her wrath. That woman was insufferable when technology even remotely challenged her.

my ex-wife calls me and asked to save the day. All those years of "all you do is fuck with that shit" and now wants my help. One time even going as far to say that "look at that, all the tech you kept finally came in handy" instead of just saying thank you. Context, had a spare wireless ap, my kid lives with her 50% of the time. So helping her, helps him. For mine it was activating the modem through the self-help.

I know it sucks, Are your parents alive? Could you move in with them? Try not to get overwhelmed. Divorce sucks and is a heavy burden. You're probably try to reconcile what happened and how your going to get through each day. Just keep doing the best you can. I wont say things get easier, but you face different challenges. Try to find cheap things to do with the kids. Find events in your area you can participate in. Alot of them are probably free.

Gotta be careful, because Cassie Jaye called her documentary the red pill. Which blurs the lines between MRA's and redpillers. Which to anyone in either movement knows the difference. I saw parts of the red pill documentary and while it was good, i worry that its a grift. Long-time "feminist" realizes that she's not all that feminist at all. Good money making opportunities go along with this. Men will happily accept women into their clubs if they espouse the same values. As soon as men do the sa…

CT here, CT has so much paperwork. Did you make sure its all taken care and everything is in agreement. I found that if everything was good and both parties are in agreement and reasonable, even the judge wont give anyone a hard time. My divorce happened during covid and was done remotely. It last maybe 10 minutes or so. The judge was very kind and praised our cooperativeness.

My divorce was also very amicable. Our divorce finalized in early 2022, we split in early 2021. Almost 3 years later, still have those emotions. Just worry about getting your head right. It does take alot of time. We share a 5yr old and at times when i have to bring him to her house to celebrate holidays and what not, Thats when i start to get angry with the course of actions. Seeing my ex-mil posting my son having fun and im not around to see it. We cant fix what happened to us, but if any of t…

Hard to reconcile with someone who believes they have done nothing wrong. Your people are right, run dont walk away from this. From the sound of it, she is clearly not the same person you married. And thank your lucky stars you didnt have kids with her. That would have been very unfortunate.

My ex wife came out as a lesbian during our marriage. Covid really made that a reality for her. Our son was almost 3 when it went down. I wish it was easier with a kid, but it most certainly wasn’t. It did make splitting easier knowing she was lesbian. Meant there was nothing I could do to and it wasn’t 100% my fault. You may want to start thinking about next steps. Doesn’t hurt to have a gameplan. Even before my ex moved, we discussed the topic of divorce and child arrangements to death before …

Facetiming with children is hard. ex and i split in 2021. From my own experience, children just don't care for face timing. Been doing that dance now for almost 2 years and within a couple minutes its "can i say goodbye now". It goes both ways. My son does it to my ex wife as well.

I would argue the time has come and gone. Let her fight it legally if she wants too. mind you i am not a lawyer. My ex also left numerous "heirlooms" 2 years later, now i consider them abandoned. If you are concerned from a legal perspective. Put them aside. Maybe get a consultation from a local lawyer to see what your rights are in your state.

Do you refer to your mother as grandma?
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 05:26 PM
1

100%, i know i should just ignore it. But i think its indicative of her in general. She also has hard time understanding inflection in voice. Which leads her to blurt responses with an attitude. When i mention "hey, whats with attitude", as you can guess.. gets more attitude. Understanding a situation better, including the above mentioned difference for me is important. Not that i plan on changing anything. But the more you know right?

I posted here...hate to say it, to get a mens perspective. Alot of the other sub-reddits favor women heavily. And i felt i wouldnt get an objective opinion that wasnt laced with bias. Ive read enough /r/relationships and what not to see the direction they go in most situations. I do refer to my ex-wife as mommy. Look its mommy, and not look its "your" mother. thats jsut me.
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/23 04:15 PM
2

Thanks for the response. my logic is, my son will only ever have one mother. Its implied its his mother. I do notice the boundary, or as i call it a disconnect. Maybe i should try saying "your mother". Maybe that will show her what it sounds like. I know its not a big deal and like mentioned above, havent and dont plan on doing anything. My overall is how my son perceives it. hes young now, but even a word difference can change the outcome of a statement.

Not being rude, or at least that wasnt my intention. Just stating a matter of fact. You are responding to details that aren't there. I am asking if the statement seems disconnected. its kind of a simple yes and why, and no and why. I am not worried or plan on doing anything with the information. Its like learning a piece of useless information and doing nothing with it. Like learning the capitol of a state i dont even live in.

my child is very young. Hes 4. My concern is my ex i think wants to make her Fiancé watching my son a permanent option opposed to an emergency and im just trying to get perspective on where i am.
/r/Divorce_Men02/12/22 07:32 PM

We both agreed that if neither of us are watching our child, that a courtesy of letting the other person know who is. I dont see how its bizarre to have an idea of who is looking after my child if my Ex is not. There are people in my family im sure she would feel similar about. So i dont even need her to voice her opinion on that.

Our legal custody agreement states this. The court signed off on it and everything. We never had a formal discussion about it. it was always "hey GF is going to watch our son because i have this appt. i forgot about that is today". I dont know why i have concerns. I wanted to work those out before hand. But I get strong armed into agreeing to allow her to watch. for context, im very flexible in most situations. I cant present our entire situation. Let me ask you this and not to sound dense. Would a mediator be obligated to even mention this during our sessions before even putting that into the agreement? Or do they just kind of move the papers around to get the divorce over with? Because not once did the mediator even mention it was un-enforceable. I understand the police wouldnt do anything about it and for me to do anything about it would have to go to court over. Im just generally curious. The whole divorce proceeding was just so easy.…

it was put there because she wanted a stranger's sister to babysit our child. And i felt that exhibited poor judgement in regards to who watches our child.

100% she does have problems following the agreements at times. She will try enforce something and then play dumb in other instances. I think its time to put big boy pants on and just have that discussion
/r/Divorce_Men02/12/22 05:16 PM

I guess thats a different conversation. I dont think i will a background check. I just think a sensible conversation that isnt sparked by "hey surprise" would be ideal. My ex seems to think just because the title of gf to fiance that should mean alot. I dont have to subscribe to that method of thinking. Especially at less than a year of dating.

While i dont disagree on the control part. She agreed that we both would have to approve of anyone watching our son. She has been with this person less than a year and only recently moving in with them. I feel like if i had a reasonable discussion with her that wasnt at the barrel of a gun(last minute hey i need someone to watch him) type situations, i might be more objective about it. im sure there is somewhere.. my ex-wife and i used a mediator. He seemed nice, knowledgeable, all of the above. We just wanted the divorce to be finished. The two of us were very civil. The judge even commented on the fact that we weren't trying to kill each other in the virtual session. We had everything filled out to a T.. Not sure why you are being downvoted. you are 100% correct. Overturning Roe v Wade gives the power back to the states to make this decision. Alot of states, nothing will change for most people. From my understanding is they are not going to stop abortion if it will impact the life of the mother. They are just going to stop it as a form of birth control.

Go for it. What’s the worst that happens, you both continue to not really talk. Fun thing about divorce is, and I’m speaking from my experience only. Most of my people didn’t reach out. If you brought it up, they would respond. But not in the meaningful way you would want. A lot of times it’s to say nice cliche things like “in time you’ll feel better” or “this is for the best”. Others won’t say anything at all. My sister, not once did she reach out and ask how I was doing during my divorce. This…

I had always been anti-marriage..dont know why i agreed to get married. It ended exactly how i feared it would. Divorce and separating me from my child... I was a product of divorce as well. I had mentioned my strong feelings on that topic and how i never wanted my child to go through that. My ex..was on the same page so i thought. She decided her overall happiness was more important than keeping her family together.

my ex tried something along these lines. for context, when i have my son(2-2-3 setup), i usually try to do things with him. Not just sit home and watch tv etc. The ex tried to suggest "think about not doing something or going somewhere everyday, so the kid doesn't think the time spent with us isnt all about him"... all i could say is "ill think about"...yeah sorry. The fact you cant keep up is not my problem.

Not quite. She had came out to me having feelings that she was gay for quite some time leading up to that point. In March we had a conversation about that. I told her to “do what she needed to do” . It meant different things to each of us. To me, it was one-night stands. To her it meant find a person to date. Definitely didn’t help.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/22 04:07 AM

basically that...i didnt pay alot, but still. My problem is with the "i dont want to, after agreeing to it" kind of BS.

forgot to include this in ours and it's biting her in the ass. I don't mind sharing costs of sports, but do draw the line on voluntary expensive school trips (aka vacations). Especially when I'm trying to buy a house and recover financially from the divorce. We do have some language that says that we will provide him what is necessary. Im sure the court would be able to make the distinction.

I think thats the conclusion im going with. Im not looking to make this into a big war. Trying to look at the big picture. I just know this will affect both of us at some point. but i guess some people are short sighted. Tis life.

Can a child custody agreement be changed later on? I dont want to start looking at things years down the road, but if it became an issue.. at least be able to change it. And i know my Ex wants him to do activities later on. Unfortunately, she claims that i am forcing him to do the activities. Which like mentioned, would probaly be viewed negatively.
/r/Divorce_Men06/12/21 01:58 PM

My only purpose of bringing it up to her is that there will come a time when she is adament about him doing an activity and well i can do the same thing to her that she is doing to me. In that i put very little effort in trying. I dont think i would because as someone who coached youth sports, i know how important it is to keep with it. I dont tihnk we share that viewpoint.

At the moment, nothing about this. I just spoke to her and she says she will refuse to sign any agreement where this is written in. So i guess i gotta ask myself if this is the hill i want to "die" on.

We have something in place, but yes i agree. thats the plan. We're not bitter. Heck i dont even hate her go figure. I just want this link to be severed. I dont want her money, she obvious doesnt want mine(she makes almost triple what i make). We dont need child support as we are sharing custody.

Child custody, division of assets, alimony, child support, etc.. I dont think talking to other women is a mistake. I think as you jumping back in would be the mistake.

Swearing doesnt bother me. But when presenting an argument with facts, Swears seem to take it into the "feelings' Category.

Alot of its wishful thinking and talks about the "end game'. But no discussion on how to achieve this endgame. No talks about the sacrifices to be had in achieving that. Also keep in mind, Rachel looks younger and possibly college age. Im speaking with assumption here, that she hasnt had the same life experiences the older women of the group have had. Notice how she is the only one who used the term "toxic Masculinity" Not one of them touched upon the fact that when men do open up, they are ridi…

As someone who does frequent the mens rights subreddit and thinks that modern feminism is cancer. Allowing these women to voice their opinions without screaming it back and forth was certainly educational. I wish people would discuss things with levels heads rather than trying to get that gotcha moment we all see so often. I do disagree with some of those buzzwords though...Toxic Masculinity

I just took a baby care class and the person running the class was talking about how great it looks after the procedure is completed. They were wishy washy about just flat out saying it is not medical required. It boggled my mind how she sang the praises of the procedure saying the baby didn’t feel it.. these people seemed almost gitty at the topic. Very saddening.

ay, christmas, the percentage of time spent with each parent and child support. If everything is 50/50 then there should be no need for child support payments from/to anyone. its possible they are doing both. Reddit is free, the lawyers time...Not so much

Totally setting aside my opinion on the Michael Brown case, TYT has shown they pick a side and totally deny the other sides credibility. They downplay or claim the otherside has no good reason for the stance they choose and is totally wrong. I used to side with the TYT about some issues, but after the Michael Brown and also recently the catcalling video, i can no longer stand to watch these people. Especially after starting to come here, i have noticed feminist views they typically spit out

I used to watch TYT, but they usually pick a side and stick with it. They do this so much so that they totally deny the other side has any credibility. example being the Michael Brown case. They took the side that the cop was in the wrong 100%, and denied any arguments presented from the other side.

This post seems like the OP had a bad experience with video games, that does not mean we all do. Like others have said, gaming is more interactive then just watching tv/movie or reading a book. Both of the previous mentioned activities are socially acceptable. Heck going to the club and wasting a bunch of money on drinks is also considered socially acceptable, but gaming is not? Yes, I game and lately quite often. To say that because I game that i must be wasting my life is absurd. I digress...

Do you even lift bro? jk :) You keep doing you! Forget them, I've found in my personal experiences that those people typical say stupid things because they wish they had your motivation. My own personal example, Sister gains bunch of weight(160+ at like 5'4"/5'"5) Tells me she won't take my advice because i eat junk food occasionally. in the last 90 days ive dropped 25lb's, and she's paying a physical trainer to help her instead of getting the advice from me and google. Moral of that story- Peop…

i Saw the ending on vine, the little girl who said sex was shit. Thought that was funny. I sought out the full version video, and to my surprise it was all about "feminist values". Caused my gf to get quite upset that i didn't agree with a few points in the video. Moral of my story...Don't watch this with women...sometimes it doesn't end well.

shes a smart girl so she's good at coming up with excuses for the stuff she does which just loops or deflects back to me. So I don't engage to not give her the opportunity to do so. I've actually mentioned to her on many occasions that I don't like her deflecting back to me when we're discussing something about her. It's like "hey you did something I don't like" and she just flips back "well I don't like things you do". Which irritates me.

Ehh I don't engage because I try not to fight emotion with logic

Yeah she lives here. We normally don't argue about anything important enough to cause a major rift. She is a big candidate of the deflection squad. I sometimes tell her she'll get over things she upset about. I do on occasion mention the are you done line. I have in the past told her that she is acting ridiculous ,but that was before I started reading the red pill and felt that it made me look silly .

-- And I decided my Redditing should now be restricted to subs like this where I agree with almost everyone, because offering a different perspective just leads to cunts giving you downvotes. I agree, i stopped responding to other subreddits because of the hive mindset they have. If you disagree you're automatically labeled a horrible person, and for what...A opposite viewpoint.

had some renovation done, and its was a free entry opening night, so we decided to check that out for couple of hours before heading home. We head there, go to the bar and just observe and try to talk, but with the loud music its not possible. So sitting at the bar, and observing what the club feels like after my RP conversion, on the other side or better yet how to proof read

Ive often heard women say if they were men they would immediately "play with their penises all day..." I really had nothing else to say to them. It just seemed out of all the things they could do, they would go to that first

Do you mean Walking? I prefer to end arguments as they happen rather than "walking" away and letting them fizzle for a little.
