You can try playing it cool and make you intentions clear... not trying to be a dick but you just have to take action man.

I was in the same position as you very recently. I was completely obsessed with a girl I was only sering for a short while. It sucks when it ends, especially when you've convinced yourself that they are some sort of special being. She isn't. You said it yourself, your sexual prospects are at 0, you're afraid you won't find someone again. That's natural, but I will tell you right now that your sexual prospects are NOT 0, they are infinite. You need to change your attitude on that. Honestly I did …

I assume so but online dating is very looks based and idk where I am in that sense. Genetics wise

Definitely.

Normally it's easy to get over chicks when I've dated them because I know their flaws. The only thing making it difficult is the fact that, I've never had such a short relationship as well as the fact that I didn't know this chick long enough to see her flaws. She was always sweet to me.

Honestly sounds good except for the Oprah part ;)

I remember I told her I couldn't remain friends with her before and she flipped a bitch. Insanity

Thank you, we were actually supposed to hangout this week but I am going to call it off. It honestly seems like a trap anyway.

I definitely was fooled into believing it was some sort of "special" thing due to the way she was communicating with me. I need to realize it will most likely never be that way and just accept the fact that what these girls say is only true at that very moment. It's insane to go from having this girl talk to me everyday, to really not talked to me at all.

I wouldn't consider myself top 20% and I was in bed with a chick from Tinder last weekend. Good looking too.
/r/askTRP25/10/16 05:15 AM

Yeah I assumed she is most likely already fucking some other guy. Last I heard it is some 22 year old single dad. Amazing. I'm 25, decent looks... skinny but getting there, make a lot of money... but I had to act like a bitch.

Yeah, I think it killed me because I actually let myself open up and get attached to her. Sad shit that you can't let that happen. Just something I will have to accept. It honestly amazes me how girls can go from completely obsessed with you to not giving a shit just like that. Hard lesson to learn, but a good one regardless.

Tinder is hard man. I've been on both ends. It's really no big deal, you can't always win. The other night I was literally in a girls bed watching a movie. I didn't want to fuck her so I didnt... imagine how that shit must have made her feel. You got a good looking girl to go out with you on a Friday... good work.

It seems to me you let yourself become invested in a chick who was clearly still into her ex. What she said on the first date was a clear indicator that she was not ready for this. This isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. What I want you to do is learn from this. You need to not let yourself attach to someone just because they "like" you. You want to get to the point in your life where you simply do not NEED someone else. If that were the case, you would have dropped this bitch the moment she …

Well thankfully we had sex so many times before I called it off. I am sure she sees me as a whiney bitch but I don't think it's very outlandish to not want to see someone who is not on the same level as you. Either way, thank you for the nice answer. The sad part is, we had a lot of fun together, it was really just my desire to date her that ended things. She sort of left things open with her response and a part of me wants her to start talking to me again and that kills me.
/r/askTRP28/09/16 07:00 PM

I understand this but why would she have me around all the time? Was she trying to basically replace her last bf with me? I basically lived there for about 2 weeks straight. My bad but I still would like to understand her thought process behind it.
/r/askTRP28/09/16 06:23 PM

I had attraction at first. I was in Colorado and she was sending me nudes every night. When I got back we sort of rushed into things and I was over at her house almost every night. We would fuck every single night but in the back of my head I knew I should go home. I ended up being right and once she sniffed me wanting to push for a relationship before she was ready, I could feel the attraction fading away which only made me even more anxious.
/r/askTRP27/09/16 10:39 PM
1

Yeah, honestly I called it off. She isn't ready for a relationship and I am not going to just sit around and wait for it. I also don't see much use in fucking some chick who I have feelings for. I don't know if that is the right choice but I felt it was unfair to myself to expect a relationship from a girl who didn't want one.
/r/askTRP27/09/16 10:37 PM
2

Sounds like a plan. So her messaging me/being cool with kissing and whatever is just her stringing me along? If so I would honestly rather just not speak to her at all again. I just wanted to know if not responding to her was something that would actually work, but you answered my question. Thank you
/r/askTRP27/09/16 06:02 PM
1

Either that or continue to fuck her. She says she isn't ready for a relationship so I am not going to assume that is an option right now.
/r/askTRP27/09/16 05:03 PM
2

What kind of dread? Just not talking to her as often? I'm not sure how to smoothly make her feel as if I am no longer so concerned with us being in a relationship. I could just make her feel as if it is fading from my end.
/r/askTRP22/09/16 10:00 PM
1

Yeah I mean she did cheat when it comes down to it, regardless of if she immediately "felt bad" and dumped him. Solid advice.
/r/askTRP22/09/16 06:44 PM
1

Also, I know trp love to generalize, but I don't think her asking me to come over has anything to do with her being less into me than if she was constantly coming over to my place.
/r/askTRP22/09/16 05:07 PM
1

Honestly I'd probably tell a friend to take it slow and relax because she specifically said she wouldn't be ready for a relationship.
/r/askTRP22/09/16 05:07 PM
1

Actually we had been hanging out a lot and one night we both made it clear that we were into each other. She started freaking out because she knew she would have to get out of her current relationship. She told me that she really needed to end her relationship anyway as it was already basically non-existent but, afterwards, she wouldn't be able to just jump right into it with me.

I've never started dating a chick who just got out of a relationship. I understand needing time after a multiple year relationship, but TRP has taught me it's just an excuse to fuck around.
/r/askTRP21/09/16 10:07 PM
1

Yeah I never really remember how my old relationships started. Honestly, I have never really been single for a significant amount of time since 16. I am 25 now. Constantly telling myself I am going to stay single for a year and then some hot bitch will come along..
/r/askTRP21/09/16 10:03 PM
1

Yeah, you are probably right. Thinking about this whole "she does not want to jump into a new relationship thing" it could be because she just wants to be able to screw around. Thing is, she got out of her last relationship BECAUSE of me. We would hangout because she was friends with my sister. Eventually I could tell she was into me, but we never did shit while she was with her boyfriend. Before she even dumped him, she told me she wouldn't be ready for a relationship for a while (it was a 2 ye…

Yeah it is really weird. She generally messages me first throughout the day. But it is like she is talking just to talk. Once she sends me just a smiley face in response to something I really just want to not respond at all, but then my brain tells me that won't work.
/r/askTRP21/09/16 08:17 PM
2

Do you talk a lot too? Like through texting or whatever? We did at first and it has died down. Sometimes I want to stop responding just to seem busy but then I think to myself, what if she just starts messaging someone else? Hahaha
/r/askTRP21/09/16 08:08 PM

I still lift and hang out with my friends. I generally hangout with her at night. Regardless, I agree with what you are saying. It's not that she is high maintenance though, she doesn't demand I come over. It is usually me making that decision.

You're probably right, I think I have always been consciously not forgetting her on purpose. I was young and it was the first time I really felt something for someone. We talked big, so it hurt a bit when it ended. Maybe I just haven't been letting myself forget about it.

I understand the concept and goal of sleeping with other chicks. I just wish we promoted being comfortable without basically requiring chicks for anything. Get what I am saying? Banging other chicks will certainly help, I'm just always conflicted when it comes to sort of using women as a crutch for "moving on".

I feel like this is the most regurgitated advice on this sub and it really does not help the OP whatsoever. It's like people just assume that you can go out and fuck chicks this very instant.
/r/askTRP26/04/16 08:31 PM

I ended up telling her that I was done playing games with her. After what she said I knew that even though I wanted her around, it's not healthy.
/r/askTRP25/04/16 05:50 PM
1

So she already tried to come back. She had recently bought shoes and left them at my house. I sent her a text saying that I can leave them on my porch whenever she has time to come get them. She ended up making sure I was home and wanted to hangout but I said I had to go to the gym haha.

Agreed, it's going to be hard for her to take when she realizes that NO ONE will put up with that crap. Actually, someone might, but that guy will be a pushover and we all know where that leads.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 07:55 PM

This is probably correct. I don't feel that I am going to reach out to her though.

This is a girl I have been spinning for a couple months. We have been very open about not being in a relationship. I definitely do not plan on talking for a bit. Thank you

Of course, a few weeks back she told me she didn't want to fuck anymore.... I told her that it was a shame because we had fun together, but that I understood.. I swear that weekend she come over and we fucked 3 times in one night.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:28 PM
1

Well, she won't be hearing from me anytime soon. I need to catch up on my programming classes, she had been coming over every other day just to fuck around and I can't really have that anymore haha. I know she is into me, she can just be a really HUGE BITCH and I was started to get fucking irritated with it anyway. I mean really, look at the shit she says!
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:28 PM
1

I know her well enough to know that she was expecting me to be hurt by this. I may be hurt but she definitely will never see it. I may have one-itis for her, sure, but at the moment I'm not really feeling very upset that she is gone. More upset about the fact that she tried to throw all the blame on me.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:25 PM
1

Agreed, my response may have seemed like I was sort of accepting that she was right, but the goal was to show her that I'm FINE if she wants to leave.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:17 PM
1

Definitely, it's honestly the other way around. She literally brings nothing to my life other than sex and even the sex isn't good.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:15 PM
4

What I meant was, usually if I say "Ok" I'm pissed. I don't want her to have the satisfaction of believing she pissed me off. So instead I just acted like it was cool.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 05:14 PM
1

Yeah, she knew there wasn't going to be a relationship anytime soon. Hell, she even went on a date with some dude. It's pretty ridiculous because I'm a good guy and generally always had her back in terms of school and such.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 04:45 PM
2

The problem is she is always having tantrums. All she really does is bitch about her day and bitch about people so I'm not even really sure I'd like her to come back. The chemicals in my body want her back, but I know it's not what needs to happen.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 04:44 PM
2

Her and I have a history so I didn't want to just "ok" it as she would have taken that as me being butthurt. I tried to respond in a way where I clearly was OK with it and didn't sound butthurt.
/r/askTRP22/04/16 03:52 PM
1

Well, I'll not talk to her for a few days and see what happens. Worst-case is best-case in the sense that if she doesn't say anything to me I don't have to deal with it.
/r/askTRP21/04/16 07:43 PM
1

At first I was really hesitant about this, but it is honestly very interesting to see how desperately she is trying to cling to power. We walked down to a park last night so she could tell me that she doesn't want to have a sexual relationship anymore. We didn't have sex that night but we did take slo-mo videos of me spanking her bare-ass... I'm gonna play it off as if we had agreed to stop talking (not contact her for a couple days or be very unavailable when she contacts me) and see what happe…

We ended up having sex multiple times, I think she feels stupid because she keeps talking to me about "just being friends" but then continuously acts otherwise. It really pisses her off when I just say "Okay" when she brings up being friends. It's like she is thinking it'll get a rise out of me. The other night she got upset when I tried to initiate sex with her, when she left she started texting me about how we shouldn't talk anymore if I can't just be friends with her. I told her that's fine a…

I see what you're saying. She's been asking me to hangout every day. Although I did start acting as if I was hanging out with other people at some times. Even if I wasn't. She gets extremely butt hurt if I say I'm "hanging out with some friends" as she automatically assumes I'm with girls, it's hilarious. I mean, right now I feel like I'm doing things right. Honestly, we were together for five years so I may just drop it due to the fear of the emotions that will get mixed up eventually.

Also, before we hit it beach she asked me if I was going to try and kiss her again because it makes her want to cry. I responded with a "nope. But if it makes you feel bad we don't have to go." Girls behavior is insane. I had plans last night but they fell through. She asked me if o wanted to go walk the beach so I agreed. I didn't try anything with her as I know that if I pull away that kind of physical attention she will wonder why. I drop her off back at her place and before I'm home she is already texting me. I fuck around by not texting her back and she is constantly double texting me because of it. I tell her I was in the jacuzzi and she immediately asks who I'm with. Wouldn't pu…

Yeah I guess I need to work on the conversing aspect of dating.
/r/askTRP26/02/16 01:50 AM

Yeah could be. I was trying to not consciously think of that. I definitely led the date. I think she led the conversation though.
/r/askTRP25/02/16 11:48 PM

I really just need to work on the attraction part. I sit there and talk and listen and have great conversation but, like you said, it has little to do with attraction.
/r/askTRP25/02/16 08:24 PM
30

It's a little bit strange that she hasn't contacted you but to me it seems like she just doesn't care. She was probably already fucking other guys. I know that hurts to hear, but would you rather have been dating a cheating whore? You're better off brother.
/r/askTRP16/01/16 03:28 AM
1

Yeah I see what youre saying. My post sort of is tailored to my own situation but also to people who are new to trp and maybe are just looking for something to make them feel better. Especially since breakups can literally leave one feeling as if there is no hope.
/r/TheRedPill14/01/16 08:21 PM
2

I still feel the burn but it's not enough to stop me from having fun or feeling good. I think it never really goes away, you just learn how to cope with it. My second girlfriend was great to me and I STILL hurt over that relationship. Regardless, you still wake up every day and hurt less and less. You tolerate it. For your situation, you really just need to talk to other chicks.
/r/TheRedPill14/01/16 02:13 AM
2

Seriously, I never hear of a woman working on herself after a breakup. Men do it and become stronger, women jump into relationships and drop their bullshit on some other poor dudes doorstep.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 10:23 PM
1

True, all of my exes have generally jumped right into another relationship. Luckily for me that makes it much easier to get over, knowing there's no reason to worry about someone who gives no fucks about you any more.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 10:06 PM
1

This is very true. It's generally harder being dumped, much more so than being the dumper. I always tried to catch myself when thinking positively about my ex. It's funny how I couldn't think of a single positive experience until she was gone.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 10:02 PM
7

Based on my experience they generally try to come back at some point but you are correct. The point I was trying to make is that if you work on yourself, you will not even care if she comes back or not. I've had exes try to come back to me and I am literally disgusted by it, when a year before I thought I was fucking hopeless without them. Abundance mentality should, hopefully, be attained through bettering yourself and getting out there.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 09:22 PM
7

Exactly, my relationship should have ended 2 years before it actually did. Me, and my ex, were both so used to having each other around that we were afraid of breaking it off and being alone. As long as you talk to others, you're bound to find something else. Just having short, meaningless conversations with strangers helped me move on. I remember I was in a bookstore and just asked some girl if she could point me in the direction of a good book. She said she wasn't much of a reader and it ended…
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 08:33 PM
1

First off, have you brought it up at all? Not in a nagging way, but some women are too self-conscious to do anything about it unless you be a man and maybe even tell her to do it. My ex would never do it without me hinting at it or directly telling her to do it.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/16 06:43 PM
1

I'll definitely check it out thanks man.
/r/askTRP12/01/16 12:45 AM
1

Yeah that's pretty extreme. With this girl it was really just I was being shown no respect even though I always went out of my way to help her. She still talks to people about how I was such an emotionless asshole, when really it was just that I don't treat people with respect if I'm given none in return.
/r/askTRP11/01/16 10:10 PM
2

Yeah I hadn't considered meditation but I will check it out. Yeah man speaking of negativity, there were many times where I asked myself, "why am I in this relationship?". Sometimes I would dump her and get sucked back, which is my fault. Then after sex I would immediately regret it... but I'd stick with her anyway. When people ask me what I like about her I honestly can't give an answer other than physical things or qualities that many people already have, like she takes school very seriously f…

This is why I love this subreddit: So, we meet up for lunch. I act as if nothing ever happened but she brings it up and asks if I'm mad about it. Thanks for all the help guys. Any girl I've talked to on the past few years I've either ended up dating or sleeping with them. This chick just throws me off and I constantly find myself acting in ways that I'm not proud of. Glad I have help from you guys.
/r/askTRP19/10/15 02:05 AM

Yeah that's basically what happened. Also guys, this isn't someone I've never met. We have hangout before. We hungout the day before and that same night she called me to get drunk at the beach with her the next day.
/r/askTRP19/10/15 01:04 AM

I did actually let her know that she had wasted my time I just didn't detail it in the post. I never acted upset about it though.
/r/askTRP19/10/15 12:31 AM

I completely see what you're saying. The only reason I was accepting of her being with her brother is because she rarely sees her family (or so she says) but I will definitely soft next her and just see what happens.

Yeah I mean, she didn't know I was there waiting, but if she gave a shit she would have at least told me she'd be late.

You can, but keep being upset. Who hurt you?
/r/askTRP

Thanks man, I have just never dealt with a girl who is so touchy with everyone. I do touch her back all the time, no issues with that. Feel like I should add this. Last weekend she invited me to go look at cars with her. She told me I had to be her "pretend boyfriend and had to hold her hand". At the time, we still worked together and I hadn't decided to start my own thing yet. Fucking dumbass me did not take advantage of this whatsoever. I feel missing that is enough for me to just next her and…

Did you try to kiss near the end of the date or more in the middle? A lot of people suggest going for it midway, that way there are still opportunities.
/r/askTRP

Yeh a I think I'm not very experienced with just keeping a conversation going on my end. Damn, she even brought up 50 shades of grey and how women love being submissive.
/r/askTRP

True, the girl thought I was "cute" and had my cousins wife, her best friend, give me her number. It should have been easy.
/r/askTRP

As friendly, what do you mean? I constantly teased her all night and she knew it wasn't insulting and that it was playful teasing.
/r/askTRP

I think the cover excuse bullshit stems from the fact that she actually had my cousin give me her number because she thought I was attractive. It's just me trying to hamster up why it changed. But like you said, it's because it was more of a friend's outing.
/r/askTRP

Thank you. I think the date actually went well in terms of not coming off as awkard. She talked and laughed with me a lot. I felt like everything was coming pretty naturally. I did fail to escalate though. But who knows, you generally don't realize when you're being awkward. I have been lifting, abiut 6 months ago I weighed 118lb. I'm just having trouble affording food at the moment.
/r/askTRP

True, if I ever felt as though I was being made out to be an orbiter you can guarantee I would be gone in a split second. If anything happens, I'll be sure to update you guys. Based on the advice in this thread, I don't think that will be happening.
/r/askTRP

Fair enough, so completely disregard any future attempts of her trying to hangout? She asks me at least a couple times a week. There is always touching and flirting but I may have been a pussy too long and never escalated enough.
/r/askTRP

Not sure what you're saying.
/r/askTRP

No doubt, I never ask her to hangout, it's always her asking me so the next time I'll just say I'm busy like I should have anyway.
/r/askTRP

Agreed, she apologized and I said don't worry about it and just to make sure she keeps me updated next time.... Her response was "haha for sure at least my room will be clean next time." So yeah, that's my life.
/r/askTRP

Well supposedly she was waiting for a text from me and didn't know I was there, but I agree with you regardless.
/r/askTRP

Turns out she didn't know I was waiting at her house but I see what you're saying and agree.
/r/askTRP

I guess she didn't realize I had driven there. She apologized more and said she feels like shit but honestly if a girl is interested I feel like she would make a conscious effort to be sure she saw me.
/r/askTRP

Yeah I could have probably responded a little better, but I think the fact that I'm not begging for her to stay is enough to really push her buttons. I mean she would get jealous if I took a snap at the pool, it was ridiculous. Anytime I took a snap somewhere without her I'd get a message asking if I was with my "side-chick".
/r/askTRP

Well, I'll just play the game better than her then.
/r/askTRP

Yeah she bothered me for 30 minutes to give her names of the girls....
/r/askTRP

I agree, I may have already messed this up as I actually slipped and she realized I DO care that she is seeing some other guy, but in the future I think I will try and suppress the anxious feeling as much as I can. I find that going for walks late at night really helps me clear my head and allows me to not care so much.
/r/askTRP

Agreed, I really should drop her but I genuinely did not care at first because I knew I was still boning her regardless. Plus, I was doing the same thing with other girls. She actually started crying when she found out I had slept with ONE other girl.
/r/askTRP

Thank you for this. I never thought of it that way, playing games is definitely childish and it seems that what I was doing when intentionally using snapchat that way.
/r/askTRP

Thanks for the response. At first I wasn't worried because, supposedly, this guy invited her to a family gathering after their first date so I thought to myself, "Ok, no problem, this guy is clearly not going to win this." I'm not sure if I want an exclusive relationship, I'm 25 years old and just starting out career-wise. It's just exhausting dealing with her back-and-forth interested levels. We still have sex, and she even told me that if she ended up dating this guy... we would probably still…
