I agree. Honestly think they were testing the limits of their abilities to jail a person. Also, they probably were upset they discovered the exculpatory evidence. If there was no physical evidence he would be in jail as they would just go with testimony for conviction which they do all lf the time.

Accusations are evidence in a court of law. In a good portion of SA cases it is the only evidence.

Also it's not incompetence. They know full well the non existing standards and bar of evidence there is for SA convictions. They know they could put an animated hamburger on the stand and they could get a conviction.

Eh, man I'm comparing to some cases ive been researching. This one dude is spending 40 years in jail because someone claimed he assaulted them in grand jury testimony. When it went to trial, she recanted almost everything and he was STILL convicted. There was no additional evidence and the court pretended that a completely unrelated charge thrown into the SA accusation was the grounds they used to muddy the water of the actual case. Yes, but in a court of law, I cannot call the police and tell the police that Bill took my phone at the bar and have no evidence. You would be laughed out of the station. SA accusations on the other hand, zero corroborative or physical evidence needed. All they need is 1. A general time(can be a span of weeks or months, no specific time needed)2. He actually got off lightly for the accusation. Easily could of been in jail for 20 years. Very difficult to work in any human profession anymore. If your reputation, professional standards and personal character cannot defend you, how do you work with anyone unless you have cameras at all angles.... and even then.

It's legal regression and a twisting of actual due process. When police and prosecutor KNOW the bar is on the floor in terms of actual evidence needed they over prosecute and overcharge. To the community, they are the one to look good but deep down they are sowing the destruction of liberalism itself.

For anything SA related, all they want is the testimony. Everything else is actually detrimental to prosecution. The absolute laziest of investigations are done with SA. They know the more they look, the more problems will be created. They also know they need no physical or corroborative evidence. Usually it's a mixture of severe mental health issues or childhood neglect. Being a victim is immediate access to everything a neglected person desires; attention, power, love, an identity.... Lots of people have huge voids in their lives.

Just read the case. I'm glad he has found some justice. The less evidence law enforcement has, the more they use narrative. The more narrative, the less ability defense has in defending. Actual evidence is a lock on a case, but law enforcement isn't solving cases its completing cases.

One notable case that received national attention was the Tonya Craft case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fim-9Knr_Fs 20 year teacher who was falsely accused. Prosecution brought no corroborating evidence to the trial and had no actual evidence other then claims.

As a former teacher, I would not suggest any man work in a classroom. I did it because I believed it my passion and calling, but certain situations absolutely shook me. There are no protections for teachers period, regardless of how many professional boundaries you set or how much you work on being transparent. Teachers are put on the front line of our collapsing society and fed to the wolves. Admin will not be there for you when push comes to shove and you will be an easy target.
