Also it's not incompetence. They know full well the non existing standards and bar of evidence there is for SA convictions.

They know they could put an animated hamburger on the stand and they could get a conviction.

I don't think it's incompetence, I think it's ideological capturing on institutions. As in oppression theory. A female accuses a male of anything and you automatically affirm what the member of the "protected class" says. While the male ("oppressor class") is always lying and abusing his male privileges.

Same thing when a migrant male sexually assaults a white Western woman you cover that up because the migrant has "protected status".

The whole concept of protected groups is not only preposterous, but it is designed in a way where it creates power imbalances.

The prosecutor in this case should go to prison. There was literally no justification to push this case forward.

I know this story gets reposted often but it never gets old because the same shit keeps happening.

Yet, despite more than 5,000 extra rape prosecutions being brought in 2014, the CPS won only 77 extra convictions.

Sure, some of them may have actually happened but failed to convict on lack of evidence. But a 1.5% conviction rate because they're taking legal proceedings against every man they can for the hell of it. The 98.5% not convicted are still getting their lives ruined, whether they did it or not.

On this topic I'm a little gray.

On the one hand, innocent people get sent to jail for several years, where they will be subjected to inhumane and brutal treatments of other inmates, then they have their whole reputation and life ruined.

On the other hand, rape is so hard to prove because if there is no proof like video or photos or voice recordings then all you got is a word of the victim and the fact that there was intercourse. Because that's all the rape kits can prove.
