I’m hoping this is the last time I tear it down and change up parts in it. I’ve been messing around with different camshaft designs for awhile and keep going bigger and bigger with each one. Then I backtracked my previous work of putting on head gaskets that were a little too thin and I didn’t want to run into valve clearance issues so I took the cylinder heads off to put the thicker size on.

Oh man I could make a ten foot long list of different combinations I’ve tried. The best types of bullets I tried were Winchester silvertips. Pretty pricy hollow points but worth it for hunting or self defense. I loaded those for a .44 magnum and shit it into a tree. That’s really cheap🤔. What brand is it? There’s always certain variables though. Usually the cheapest manufactured ammo is really terrible. No accuracy, fouls your firearm really bad from the burned powder. Even breaking even on reloading it yourself from buying decent gunpowder so you get a lot better accuracy.

The casing price really depends if you buy it brand new or you can get really good deals online for once-fired brass or if there’s a shooting range you can visit, ask an employee if you can get some brass.

Ideally it’s gonna less or more depending on the size of the cartridge, the type of supplies you buy (match grade versus target shooting). So the 9mm in the pic will cost a lot less to reload then say .308 or 30-06. As an example, I bought 2,000 pieces of 9mm fmj bullets for $0.09/pc on sale, each primer is $0.03, powder is $0.03 per round and the Shell is free since I resize it. So that’s $0.15 a cartridge of 9mm to make myself vs $.25 (estimated) to buy per box of ammo.
