Started at a large regional brokerage firm. They paid for my licensing and trained me. Then I worked under a senior broker for a couple years. Then he retired, I bought him out and made 140 last year but I'm still paying him out. When I'm done with that in a year I'll do 250k or so.

Keep it simple focus mainly on your compound lifts. Bench press deadlift squat and pull up. I like to do reverse pyramid where you warm up then start with a heavy lift and try to get 4 to 6 reps. Then go down 10% and try to do 6-8 then drop another 10% and get 8-12.

Concealed means concealed. They won't notice unless they feel it or your pants come off. If you just play it off like it's not a big deal most don't care some may even be into it.

I wear a nice suit every day for my job. I live out in the county so when I'm in for work I do all my errands in town dressed in my suits coming to or from the office. In a town where very few and only the professional people wear suits I find a lot of girls eyes following me. If you're going to wear a suit it's more important that it fits perfectly than be an expensive label. On the weekend I go with dark jeans and a button up or polo shirt. Nice shoes are important to. Also not sure anybody no…

I do push pull legs but if you're doing big compound lifts like squat deadlift, bench press they use more than one muscle group.

Back exercises contribute much more to your size than chest work does. Also triceps make up much more of your arms than biceps but you see all the guys in the gym doing chest work and bicep curls.

I was in a top frat on campus as well as nationally. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Great leadership development in college and landed a great job through connections after college. Got to keep your head on straight though. Some guys got swept up in it and drank every night. I suspect these guys would be alcoholics anyway but being around it so much doesn't help. I would only drink once or at most twice a week and was able to continue playing varsity soccer and keep my grades up n…

Adding lean muscle mass is tough and a slow process. Some experts think you can only add 40 or 50 pounds over a lifetime without steroids. But make sure you're drinking protein shakes and eating a lot of healthy foods and lift. If you can gain a pound a month of lean weight you're doing well.

Shirtless or gym selfies are terrible and show traits you don't want to highlight. Try this instead get somebody to take "candid" pictures of you shirtless playing a sport on the beach like throwing a football or something. That's a good way to highlight what you have but not come off a vain shallow prick who's overcompensating for something.

I was in a similar boat. Star at my investment firm doing 12-14 hours a day including Saturday. Wasn't at the gym enough wasn't hanging out with non work people. /r/askTRP01/01/18 05:08 AM

Yeah you definitely suffer from npd. Try some tactical empathy. As you're talking to someone try to imagine what they are thinking how they are feeling etc. This will keep you from interjecting your own opinions on them and let them talk.

I've played around with it and bumble. I've tried simple openers like hi or hey I've also tried the cheesy lines or the overtly sexual. What seems to work best is what you'd do if you wanted to talk to somebody in real life. Ask them about something on their profile or in one of their pictures. Respond in a way that lets them know your not a psycho then go for the number and try to set a date. Don't talk to them on the app more than one or two questions/ responses. If they won't escalate by then…

It costs 8$ a month but I think it's worth it. Bodybuilding.com subscription service with 45 tailored workout programs. There's a 12 week one for beginners. That I would recommend. People will hate on this saying you don't need to pay for lifting advice. I'd say to each their own. I've been lifting on and off for 8 years but I've seen much faster results from the few months I've been using the service. Why shouldn't you compare yourself to others? To really succeed at anything in life you need to be in the top 20% or even better top 10. It's a competitive world. Now I would say don't constantly compare yourself to the best of the best because you'll never be happy. For example Why don't I have more money than Bill Gates I must be a loser is not a good idea. However seeing that the top 20% of people my age have 250k saved, well I want to work towards having more than that.

I think little thinking of you gifts are great. I literally got this girl a postcard and gave it to her when I got back from my trip and that pretty much sealed the deal. They like to know that they were on your mind. Expensive gifts are a no no in my opinion. Best case scenario you spent money unnecessarily. Worst case you come off as a creep and you wasted money.

You got a good point. I'd say it's very difficult though to achieve the highest levels of success without some npd. Like I said important to keep the negative side of it in check. What helped me was first understanding what it was and how it affects the thought process. Just being aware is huge. Next in a one on one conversation I like to pretend I'm watching the conversation as a third party so I'm not tempted to make it about me.
/r/TheRedPill03/12/17 02:15 AM

Two kinds of narcissists. The grandiose and the weak. The grandiose want to be ruler of the world with unlimited power and money. They think they are gifted at what they do. Often they are correct. Many highly successful business people are grandiose npd. Think steve jobs. Also it seems almost all politicians are on the same spectrum. It doesn't seem to be a bad thing to me to have a touch of this as long as you can keep some of the negative traits in check.

Quality over quantity. I'm in my mid 20s, excellent job might get close to 200k next year. I live on about a fifth of my gross pay and invest the rest. If you tether your self worth to material possessions you'll never be happy. Wearing designer clothes or driving an expensive vehicle doesn't make you a better person. True freedom comes from having fuck you money. If you get fed up with your job you got the resources to tell your boss fuck you and walk off.
/r/TheRedPill09/11/17 04:18 AM

Yeah that was awkward. Why did you video call her? Also, too much lead up. You don't need to connect with her on 4 types of social media and video call her and text her. When you're on tinder be assertive about getting a face to face date as fast as possible. You came off as extremely available by trying to connect on all these different methods. Be direct, get the date, don't talk much before the date. It's more mysterious that way.

My philosophy is minimize fixed monthly expenses. If you got a reasonable house, no car debt, reasonable cell phone and utilities and what not then if you lose your job it's easy to cut back. When times are good you can make the decision to splurge on stuff. The people I see get into trouble are the ones that got 80% of their net income going out the door automatically every month. First hitch in their income and they're screwed.

Having feelings for a girl and wanting her to not fuck other guys while she's with you doesn't make you a beta. You're the leader here so lead her into monogamy if that's what you want.
/r/TheRedPill05/11/17 02:50 AM
1

Does the idea of this girl with other guys bother you? If so you got a couple options. Move on and fade out. Or have a talk with her and ask her what she's trying to get out of the relationship. If she has no intention of being exclusive with you and that bothers you I think you got your answer. If she does want to be with you and is only using these guys to get a reaction from you then you don't have to stoically game her to impress some folks on an anonymous forum.

Got an ltr with a cat 1. Hard working blue collar father. Seems to be pretty accurate description especially about having to be careful to give them approval. I grew up not caring too much what people thought so it was difficult at first to make sure I was complimenting her. Not sure I agree that men without a father figure are looking for one. I grew up without one as the oldest male in the house from age 15 on I had to become that figure at an early age.
