Let me start off by saying I love this community. The PDF handbook has taught me more about women, how to be the best man you can be, and life more than my in-and-out dad ever did. I’ve learned so much from this sub for years, and recently have tried giving back by posting under multiple throwaways with success. But I’m faced with a new challenge in my life that I am seeking guidance on.

Me: 25 years old. Partially finished undergrad degree. Working in sales for 7 years, and in one sector (biotech) for 5 years. I worked my way up into a 120K position and also into Peter’s Principle. I failed opening up a new territory, badly, working remote by myself, and I’ve been asked to resign at the end of the month.

I could try to find another equivalent position, be unhappy but secure. I could restart in Tech, be happier, but take a significant financial hit. I could go back to school and finish my degree, which would be time consuming and financially constraining. The lack of degree might hurt but the work experience I’ve accumulated has been tremendous. I feel burnout, not wanting to work for anyone else or in corporate any more but I know that may be wishful thinking..

Sometimes I wish I could find a RP business mentor and collaborate on a startup or sales-driven project...

What would you do if you were me? I have a couple of months to figure this out before I have to work.
