You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize it was largely due to the fact that it was my birthday. A guy with manners would buy a girl a drink on her birthday, not the other way around. So maybe this was an exceptional circumstance. Another time I was asked to buy a drink was just a situation of amazing rudeness. I was absolutely not drink scamming, and the guy danced with me for five minutes and then said "alright I guess this is when you try to sucker me into buying you a drink. B…

Maybe accepting a free drink is a DLV? Not always, but often. I was interested in a guy who came to my birthday party, and I was so stoked to see him that I offered to buy him a drink. He accepted eagerly... and I immediately started to see him as low-value. Perhaps because it was my day and everyone was buying me drinks, but he also just seemed clumsy about it. It somehow felt like he was scamming, how he accepted so readily. Just food for thought. Maybe it has to seem more like he's "allowing"…

Negging totally works on men. I told the guy I'm seeing that back in highschool I remember him as being the only 'moderately attractive' guy in our class. I also always imply he's only sexy in contrast to what he used to be like. The key is that it's almost a compliment, but it's not. Just want to point out though - what the guy said to you at the party was actually a false disqualifier :)

Your last point is awesome. Planning fake trips together - girls love that shit.

I think that this is a brilliant idea. The key of course, is that you know you have them just in case, but you hopefully won't need to use them. It's like seductive martial arts.

I'm in sales, targeted at women. Sales and seduction are closely linked. Also it's interesting to know what guys are attempting to 'use' to seduce me and be one step ahead. But mostly, I'm aware that more than anything, most women WANT to be seduced, and I feel like occasionally my comments can help you guys accomplish that. For the sake of women everywhere :)

I remember one from a user named seductiongirl or something similar to your username, and one from shots. a couple of the more prominent male users kind of attacked them and were like "seddit is for male PUAs to give advice, no chicks allowed, your advice is useless, rabble rabble" ... they both stopped posting as far as i've seen.

Okay, I just want to say a little something here. As much as I appreciate your interest and I really like that the boys are playing nice with you this time, I don't understand why they're being nice to YOU and not all the others. Granted, they kinda play nice with me too, but I watched seddit actually shut down/shut out a few girls who 'introduced' themselves in exactly the same way you did, only for the reason that they were girls, within the last few months. What gives, guys? That said, Welcom…

I'm not going to bother with including my two cents regarding being a hot girl and the challenges that come with it. But I do want to encourage you gentlemen to re-read that post if you just skimmed it. There's some true wisdom in there. Women need to feel like they need to work for your attention/attraction in order to be invested, and hot women are SO used to being constantly told they're attractive that they instinctively feel superior. Is that fair? No. But it's true. The key thing to rememb…

Fair enough. Again, not insisting on sharing, just offering if anyone is interested.

Ok, it sounds like you said it doesn't help except that it was the reason for your one and only success so I'm not totally sure what you're getting at. Nonetheless - keep playing that guitar, and keep thinking it's totally okay for chicks to know you're into them. Rock star in the making!

Ah yes, but I didn't say it was worth the time - I just said it can be done, if someone were to really want to.

also i wanted to comment on your thought of "immediately getting friend-zoned". The Friend Zone is actually kind of hard to get into (this is coming from a woman, so I do know what I'm talking about here). The Friend Zone is a result of someone seeing you as important to them emotionally to the point that they CANT be sexually attracted to you. Guys mix this up all the time - and it's OUR fault, because we give you the LJBF speech - but that's actually our way of saying "I'm just not into you". …

i know this sounds silly, but the biggest breakthrough point for me was realizing that it's OKAY if someone knows you're attracted to them. Just have it in your head that you're attracted to the girl while you're talking about her, and imagine that you know for a fact she's really into you too. Try to just talk to her as a cool chick you know, but keep it in the back of your mind that you two are going to tear each other's clothes off later, and exactly the right amount of sexiness will start to…

In the words of Pitbull: we at the hotel, motel, holiday inn! Or, find a friend with a cool place who will let you house-sit.

A Welsh boy didn't hesitate to talk to me (a pretty Canadian girl) on the bus one night, and we hit it off immediately. What did he get for his spontaneity? A totally devoted girlfriend. Can't agree enough - go talk to that girl!

I suppose that does come off a little less intense and more fun and flirty. but do follow it up with something along the lines of "I'm bummed we never met up but I'd still like to if you're up for it".

"Hey [insert name here]! I was just looking through my phone and decided it's tragic we never met up. Dinner sometime?" seriously, what do you have to lose?

She's politely telling you she's not interested/seeing someone. Bow out gracefully. "No worries, have a great night. Maybe another time, and bring him along?" and then use the night out with the two of them to meet someone else.

Oh neat. That's not actually the post I was referring to (it was actually a link to a blog post) but that's really helpful too!

Okay, short little anecdote: The fastest guy to ever pick me up (I'm talking a few hours until a number close, then an instant date, then a makeout session - before I'd officially broken up with my boyfriend) was a super nerdy biochem major. I am a poetry major. Nothing about science interests me. But he started telling me about how neurotransmitters are the body's poetry, and I started to melt. I was totally hooked. Instead of letting me believe that science was boring, he taught me otherwise. …

From personal experience, I think that guys in your position (high-status guys) do tend to give off the impression that they're only interested in sex, because it's what they usually get. But a woman doesn't walk away from a high-status guy if she believes he's truly attracted to her (but we are afraid of being rejected just as much as you are). Just try to be genuine and don't be quite so subtle about your interest. If she knows you want to get to know her, and you're as high-status as you clai…

I read a fantastic post from /r/seduction a few months back about something called "conversation threading." Unfortunately I can't find the original post (forgot to bookmark it) but here's a rough summary: When someone says just about anything, there are key words in their sentences which you can always use to start a new branch of conversation. For example, if she says "oh man, that exam I just wrote was so difficult!" You have two main key words you can work from: exams and difficult stuff. 1)…

Smile warmly and don't be afraid to say much fun you're having. "I'm having such a great time right now, you’re fun :)" Can't agree with this enough! It puts us at ease ... which makes us like you more!

"Nice tattoo, I think I have the same" ... that is probably the best club opener I have heard in a long time. That's coming from a woman who's heard a lot of them. Props!
