The appeal of looking at the thing like this is just that it revolves around something "emotionally and morally neutral" like attention. Imperatives like "do not pedestalize women" or its blue pill equivalent "keep her happy" is that they are morally charged in a way (if you fail you are weak in one case, mean in the other). This "moral charge" can turn into an emotional one (self judgement, fear of failure, anxiety). While it can boost the motivation for some people, once you are already motiva…

Its just new. I always move though uncharted territory with some concern.

This got even weirder. Apart from seeing my regular lover again (and getting as aroused as usual) I dated another girl with whom we spectacularly clicked. So its like: everything works fine down there but not with the particular one I was talking above. I have made a mental list a few differences between her and those with whom I tend to get really excited: 1)fat distribution and overall shape. Being more of an athlete, she has less of a "coca cola bottle" shape, broader shoulders, smaller firme…

I'm not rationally pedestalizing, rather unconsciously, maybe because of mommy issues. I've had a rather hard, challenging mother who expected much more from me than my father, almost never made me feel loved "unconditionally", and when a woman makes me feel I am "good, but not quite good enough" I get desperately hooked. I'm probably half in love half angry. We're outdoors enthusiasts, me more rock climbing her freeskiing. Shes obviously a much better skier than me (though I'm not that bad). Af…

1-a tribute to an aging man I admire, and have been linked to (i share more character traits with him than my dad). 2-an attempt to see if his life choices are RP, BP of simply from another time (regulated SMP etc) and do not apply today.

sorry i don't get the joke/expression (not a native english speaker...) EDIT: ok I see, faire enough ;)! As far as hubris is concerned, blame ancient greeks and those euro high schools who teach ancient languages and philosophy.

Hubris (or hybris) In Greek mythology and tragedies, men believing they were level with the gods and acting beyond their human limitations, or against their human nature. They usually got either punished by the gods or faced unexpected consequences. By extension, an act of philosophical arrogance. Example of phrase that would make sense: "seeking immortality through medical research is a form of hubris". But also "skiing off piste with high avalanche risk is hybris, and one day you will get puni…

Wildly OT There is so much more to life dude. But do all the things of life make sense for themselves? Reproduction instinct has a self-satisfying meaning, that's the beauty of it. And you can easily link it to some philosophical idea that makes sense of life and existence in their most general and abstract sense. I am not saying that it should be the only purpose of someone's life mind you. Just that disregarding it completely is the most "against nature" thing a human can do, possibly the ulti…

Approach (with a flirtatious intent) : zero to many. I approach either out of not fucking at all/enough, or of needing to "recover" from over investing (distracting my attention). Fuck: typically one, several times a week (4-12 intercourses). If my balls are empty I dont really have interest for other women, unless they are either 1)really too easy to get, to refuse. 2) overwhelmingly attractive Also, tipically I enjoy my first fucks with one particular woman a lot less than what happens later o…

Be sure I do all it takes (easy because of my lifestyle and job, it comes naturally). I look 5 years younger than my age, and that fits my history as well (I always come at some turning points/phases in life later) But it's also a matter of genetics/luck (I have alzheimer, diabetes and other aging issues in my family, as well as exceptional examples of brilliant elderly people)

I have a little advantage. Living in a foreign country, I can dirty talk in my native language and be half-understood. Plus they find it sexy.

get a side hustle and use the downtime and seasonal nature of your job(s) to hustle when not on the slopes or the ropes. OT, in many of these jobs there is a paradox : you get tons of interest from female customers and tousists BUT you work long hours 7/7 during a short and intense season, and these chicks may not sleep where you work, many times they are 1hr drive away. The only manageable scenario (which happens sometimes) is go to the chick's hotel/airbnb, screw her within 5' of bein there, s…

have you read the E-myth business book? read that before you decide to open/run a guide business - it's key to knowing: are you a baker, a bakery manager or an entrepreneur - I will read thanks! Based on customer/collegue feedback I am an excellent technician, also ok at communiion/advertising (I end up selling activities whenever I hang around at the agency, I am not bad at producing advertising media either). But not the best at planning, making strategic decisions, risking investments, etc...…

Unless you are getting anything out of this LTR Short term I get enough quality/kinky sex, nice gifts (relatively expensive sport equipement), some interesting/usual social contacts (the few she is happy to share, outside of her family, are highly relevant to my interests and career). What do I get medium and long term, that's the question.

And one example of the opposite: not sharing some of her friendships (like this married woman she does sport activities with. On one occasion I managed to pass by and also have my sport session at the same venue, but separately from them, with some indifference. It is a venue I visit more often than both. Actually the "other" woman looked pissed that I was there, and that the main topic's invited me for a beer with them after our sessions were over).

So, asking me as +1 to an event with all her extended family, cousins from all over the country (to make an example of the things she did in that direction) was a move out of what? Conveniency? Shit test?

If any of you have seen the movie "match point" I may be a poor woman's version of the tennis instructor.

Why are you trying to make her into a LTR in the first place? She started the ltr behaviour, not me, and managed to plant a seed in my mind. Anyway, basically: same social roots in small-town european bourgeoisie, smart, seems to boost the performance of people around her, values her traditional and cohesive family. My SMV is obviously greater for sex or flirting than for building a family, unless I meet a woman with a millionaire (and dying) dad. I'm working in adventure sports as instructor/gu…

wat? dont meet plates more than once a week. So, scaling back without nexting , how to?
/r/askTRP10/12/19 11:15 PM

The issue I need practical advice with is: time. Gaming and dating several other women while one of them manages to get 3-4 nights/week is not so easy. That's why if it ain't going anywhere I want to scale back to once a week. Btw sex is as good and frequent as one would like it to be, and she pays drinks until i'm tipsy - not the other way around.

Actually 60% ofme wants LTR, the remaining 40% to scale things back to the point where it is a mostly hedonistic, occasional pursue based on sex, red meat and good wine. As a "no labels girlfriend" she's not where her true potential lies, there are better women for that. My priority would be to cleverly put her in face of an "either or" decision.

I do realize the latter. I have a peculiar mix to offer: contextual alpha with good looks and body (even if short, 5'8), at least decent lover, literally handle people's lives in my daily job, manners and culture from upper middle class. Women tend to find me sexy and feel protected, safe with me... but not that much money nor any special status outside of my social niche. The other part of the equation is: what women, if any, can be interested in this package long term? (No huge problems findin…

Some ideas. All women I have had good sex with expressed that I made them feel comfortable and safe. I dont know how to describe it precisely, but two key points: - focus on sex as a shared experience. Eye contact, feedback, etc. Do not fuck "eigoistically", like "omg I really want to fuck her ass". It is more like "i want her to feel pleasure by me fucking her ass" - do not be hesitant. If it looks like you know exactly what you are doing, she will be able to relax more. do not rush things eith…

I can understand that approach when you are already seeing someone I have a limited experience with tinder but in my case successful dates share two characteristics: I make it clear in my profile or in my early interaction that while I dont have "expectations" I'm there to have fun first and foremost. -I am genuinely not over-available. I may rearrange my schedule for a date but it is not as if I could be there in 5' whenever she clicks her fingers. With no exceptions, in any occasion where I di…

One says stuff like "let's hangout today" then when I'm available it's radio silence. It may be a shit test to see if you have a life. Try saying you are busy and offer a specific schedule instead. To me it has worked out better when I did not make myself overly available.

That's not motivation. That's fantasizing. I'll make an analogy. I'm a rock climber and professional climbing teacher. Every once in a while I see a picture of a friend climbing a damn hard piece of rock and think "that looks nice! If i trained a lot i could maybe climb it!". Then maybe I have an hesitant try at the climb. That's fantasy. Motivation is when i actually make serious training plans, i set intermediate objectives, committ to the process and enjoy every moment of it, including the fa…

I would slap her ass, smile to her and say "you know like that one too". If played right it can be funny and elusive, like meaning "maybe I also like things other than your body, but I won't tell right now". For sure the attitude, facial expression etc are key in this kind of jokes. I know a guy who can say the dirtiest things to women in public (even outside of flirtatious situations) and always come across as funny: 99% guys would get at least a disgusted and condescending look if they tried s…

Sometimes you need some kind of external motivation. Near the end of my last LTR I was slightly depressed/unmotivated, stuck in a situation that I didn't like but not actually doing much about it. Then went to physiotherapy to treat an injury and the physio was a pretty younger girl, hot and seemed to have all the qualities I missed in my LTR. That gave me an instant urge to get my shit together...
