Happy birthday homey! Run a couple of miles. Or bike. Take the kids on your run!

Dude, just ghost her. If she was trippin' on kids, then bail. You screwed up. Is this sociopathic? Hardly. But, I would have probably broke it to her when you met the first time.

Dude, bail. That woman is toxic AF. The drama will continue and you will lose more than money - time.

Am I naive, but the baby is with the new husband? Shouldn't he pay for the new child? She will take maternity leave(I assume), but that's her responsibility. I can understand the worry here, but I would find it weird, strange that you would have to pay for HER NEW KIDS.

I'm assuming she got her citizenship or green card? Once she got that, now she starts sabotaging the relationship. I kind of think you could play this card? If she is a deadbeat(kinda sounds like it), I'm pretty sure you can use this in court? Tread carefully. If the career is good enough pay, then I'd try to find a way to make it work. Good luck.

My wife and I have been married 20 years. We haven't had sex in almost a year. Prior to that, 1-2x a year. I make double her salary but she has more successful academic career. I was from the wrong side of the tracks but she needed citizenship - we got married. She took the reins watching the kids. We are very opposite in terms likes, personality. We don't sleep in the same room anymore. I personally will never cheat. I would never give her the moral high ground if/when we split. This forum is f…

Yes. We havent been intimate in 10 months or so. I find it hard and we are "sleep divorced" because she says I'm loud. We grudgingly stay together for the kids.

Dude, u need to document her reason for getting married. She want citizenship/immigration status. I would call immigration authorities.

Can you open new accounts? I thought of this and she already has.

You guys made me look at our main bank account. I din't think she has been putting her paycheck into it. The savings has gone down quite a bit in the last 3-4 months. We each have a separate account but it was more for "play money". Hmmm...

Thx for the tips. I am doing some soul searching. I may be a d!ck, but she isn't completely guilt free, either. I'll report back in a few days.

Ok, I have a temper, I admit it. We're in the middle of moving from 1 house to another. She was putting things away - I was watching football. She was doing her passive aggressive technique by slamming dishes, cupboards. I took the hint and started to help and then it went off the rails (or I did). I'm trying to be less reactive - but she does this passive/aggresive constantly.

Basically she THREATENED it. She's done this before. We haven't been intimate since March and it kinda makes me irritable.

Yeah, I'm beginning to see that. I'm the main bread winner and I'm prepared to get screwed. If we split custody 50/50, I assume my CS payments won't be as bad? I work for a municipal govt., and have a CALPERS pension in about 10 years. She said she gets half. But she is a teacher and has CALSTRS pension in about 15 years. I assume I'd get half of that? I'm changing my mindset as I slowly realize she is preparing. Several ppl mentioned I should file first? Should I?

"Cluster B"? That's a new one. I really am concerned she is recording stuff. She will intentionally start an argument and get a rise out of me and say it's me. We've had a rocky marriage for the past 2-3 years. She went unemployed during COVID and I basically supported our family. I am so resentful for that.

I don't think she is at the restraining order stage. I do think she has been recording when she pushes my buttons. She doesn't have an attorney - yet.
